San Canzian Hotel & Residences

It was our fifth stay at beautiful San Canzian and we loved it as always and looking forward to our next visit. Service at highest level, excellent food and extended wine list, spotless clean. The same very kind and professional staff, you feel like at home.

Amazing place in the heart of Istria. Perfect service, veru nice rooms, amazing view, excellent staff, delicious food.from the moment yiu arrive you feel very welcomed. Everything is easy going and although we stayed short, only two nights, we managed to rest well and enjoy ourselves.

The place is not one of, but the best small boutique hotel. The level of service is beyond the 5*. There is no demand or request that are too high. The staff is super pleasant. Breakfast is superb. I've been up and down, and never ever had better sleep than at San Canzian hotel. It is really a place where I can say that i recharge my batteries 100%

San Canzian is a magical place that offers excellent service and facilities. Even though Istra is a nice place to travel around in case you are staying in San Canzian you pretty much do not need to go anywhere. Looking forward to staying in San Canzian again soon. Highly recommend for couples, family, friend and solo stay.

Simply stunning - a calming, relaxing and invigorating place. We stayed n autumn and enojoyed fresh air, beautiful natural surroundings, beautiful architectural details and most off all a young, friendly and yet highly professional staff. The restaurant is amazing and the rooms are light and yet super cozy.

We had an incredible three nights at San Canzian. The setting was beautiful, food delicious, rooms lovely, and staff charming. Danijela in particular was so helpful, and we loved getting to know Leon at the bar too. The pool was a perfect place to relax at the end of a day of touring beautiful Istria. We stayed in room 11 and it was a lovely private setting with two outdoor areas- one covered which was the perfect place for a glass of wine when a storm rolled in one of the days. We loved the food - particularly the breakfast each morning (so tranquil!) and also eating the Istrian cheese and ham at the bar at sunset. All in all a wonderful stay!

We visited different parts of Istria, but it was in San Canzian, when we got the feeling of having found the most pristine part of this country and the most beautiful hotel. The design of the hotel, rooms, garden, pool, restaurant,... simply everything - is made with a lot of aesthetic sensibility. The view is stunning - behind wine and olives, the sky and the sea merge on the horizon. Sunset inclusive. A perfect hide-away for some romantic days (I know what I will give my husband for his next birthday!) as well as an exquisite place for some relaxing days as a family (we had a great time with our 8-years-old daughter).

The hotel is just wonderful. The setting is beautiful, the rooms as well, the art on the walls stunning. Not everything is perfect, but the charm of the place makes up for everything. I would give the hotel 5 stars. The hotel restaurant, on the other hand, is not good at all. The prices are high, which would not be a problem if the food were excellent, but it’s not, it’s far from it. We ordered a lot of different things, and most dishes lacked flavor, the best dish was white polenta with truffles. If they want to do fine dinning with prices that go with it in the restaurant, they should try harder, because this really isn’t working all that well. Also, simple dishes that we ordered from the room service menu were even worse. So, amazing charming hotel with really bad restaurant.

Fantastic place and staff. Great accomodation and location. Amazing food. Concept one of a kind with great concept. Ideal place for rest and close to all major Istrian places. Overall great value for the cost
