Avis : De Palma Resort Kuala Selangor

Extrêmement déçus, nous avons même écourté notre séjour! Le prix payé ne correspond en rien à la qualité de l'hôtel. C'est, de loin le pire hôtel de notre séjour d'un mois en Malaisie ! Je n'ai jamais vu une chambre dans cet état ! Très sale, des énormes tâches partout sur les murs fendus, des rustines de papier peint collées sur les murs, lampe cassée ( mon mari a pris l'électricité quand il l'a touchée), mouches sur les plats et les tables au restaurant, piscine douteuse, personnel peu motivé, parties communes sales. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel ! A fuir....

The resorts was okay..staff very polite and nice..only problem with the monkey because they stole and ate my son’s donut while they had swimming in the pool😄

I've started to like the resort as soon as I entered the door, the friendliness of the front staffs were impeccable, especially Ms Suhadah and Adlin (sorry if I misspelled the names). They displayed a top class hospitality. The room I got was just a minute walk from the lobby and very close to the carpark, making it very convenient. I love the calming vibe of the hotel and even though it was a public holiday, we did not experience a lot of noise from the other guests. Location wise the resort is jist a mere 3 minutes drive to the foot of Bukit Malawati and 15 minutes drive to Pasir Penampang where most of the activities and night lives are located.

Very positive experience at reception. Heplful and informative. Buggy driver to our villa was polite and pleasant. A little way off from the main city area but of negligible consequence if one travels by car. Breakfast was sumptuous and freshly prepared. The outdoor pool was very inviting; we just didnt have enough time in KS to try it :)

My family and I were happy with our staycation here. Everything run smooth and well. We had a wonderful stay, feeling calm and relax, healing vibes.

Satisfied with the DePalma resort. While not a new hotel, the AC worked well, the bed was clean and comfortable, the hot water in the shower worked and the stay was without any problems. For birders staying in the area this is a good location. Check in and check out was fast. Staff was friendly.

Overall ok, clean and nice. Except that electrical wiring is not done properly.

Conveniently located, pools may require more cleaning, staff were friendly and ample of parking space available

Remote location. Quite a distance from main road. Quiet environment. Not many guests. Building rather old, some areas need improvment. Room is spacious. Small swimming pool good for children.

Suitable for families.. Plenty of monkeys so be careful.. Nearby tourist attractions

At first glance, the resort looks like it will be a wonderful place to stay! It looks nice upon entering, the staff at the front desk is friendly, the areas around the huts are cute! But when you enter, that’s where you start to form a very different opinion. First when you enter, the power has been shut off, so the first hour is spent in muggy heat, waiting for the AC to chase away the humidity, then when you look closer, not a single thing is clean. There are bugs EVERYWHERE, especially on the night tables and along the bed headboard, the sheets and pillows are stained, yellow, brown, blood, dirt, everything you can imagine (not even mentioning the tons of hairs that belonged to neither my partner or myself). The bathroom is tiny, which I wouldn’t care about if it was clean… the drain had toothpaste caps from previous people stuck in it, the walls clearly hadn’t been wiped down, there was mold along the the sink(and bugs), the toilet had a dark ring, … The shower was pathetic. If you use the shower head and turn it slightly to angle it towards you arm, the water struggles to find it’s way out of the shower head. A child had been practicing their writing previously because the walls of the closet were covered in words, and everything was just grimy and in disrepair. This hotel has the bones to be high quality, but they seriously need to take a look at basic cleanliness first.

For RM200 per night, this resort is considered expensive for its location. The room is satisfactory, but I initially thought the breakfast would be great; however, it turned out to be only subpar. The item I enjoyed most was toasted bread with Lurpak butter. We also had an outdoor BBQ, which was excellent, especially the marinated lamb. It's hard to find a hotel that offers good BBQ these days.
