YYingtaoxiaoduoL'hôtel que j'ai choisi à Taichung était décevant. J'avais opté pour le New Inn Taipei en raison d'une bonne impression lors d'un précédent séjour. Cependant, l'hôtel de Taichung était nettement inférieur à celui de Taipei. Le personnel était très serviable et aimable, notamment lorsque j'ai changé de chambre à cause d'une odeur de renfermé. Leur attitude a été très appréciable. Toutefois, une ventilation adéquate pour éliminer cette odeur est indispensable. Le quartier est pratique, mais le stationnement est peu pratique ; il faut marcher un peu pour rejoindre l'hôtel. Si vous venez en voiture, je vous conseille de décharger vos bagages à l'hôtel avant de vous garer. De plus, l'hôtel est situé à un carrefour, ce qui complique le stationnement ; il n'y a qu'une seule place de stationnement temporaire.

IInvitéBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

UUtilisateur anonymeLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

TTiffytif17La chambre est telle que décrite et montrée sur les photos. J'ai donné un 4 pour la propreté comme la première nuit, j'ai trouvé des cheveux sur le lit et un trou sur le toile de bain. J'ai signalé au personnel via LINE (à Taïwan ils utilisent principalement LINE pour communiquer). Ils ont pris des mesures et ont offert de changer les lits et de nettoyer la chambre.
Il y a un bain chaud et l'eau chaude est disponible.
La location de l'hôtel est à environ 15 minutes à pied de la gare de Taichung. Si vous transportez des bagages importants, vous devez prendre un Uber. Il est proche de la rue un Mitte (yizhong Street) où vous pouvez trouver de nombreux magasins, nourriture, etc. De l'hôtel, coupant le parc de voiture ouvert, vous serez dans la zone de shopping.
En tant que voyageur solitaire féminin, au début j'étais un peu inquiet de la localisation de l'hôtel. L'entrée à l'hôtel est dans une rue, près d'un bar bistro. Vous avez besoin de la carte d'accès pour entrer dans l'hôtel, juste s'assurer qu'elle est fermée après l'entrée. Le bureau frontal ne fonctionne que de 11 h à 10 h 30. Il y a un numéro de ligne d'urgence pour appeler le service après-heure. L'utilisation de LINE pour communiquer avec eux est facile.
Il y a un café près de l'hôtel où vous pouvez avoir un petit déjeuner avec un rabais en affichant votre carte de chambre. Si vous voulez voyager dans des endroits, il y a beaucoup de bus. Si non, il est facile d'obtenir Uber. Pour la première fois, le voyageur à Taichung ne saura pas que le papier toilette ne peut être jeté dans la cuillère, il est donc bon d'avoir un signe pour le montrer.
Le personnel est très aimable et très aimable.

Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

IInvitéThis was the best room that we've got so far, the room has balcony and it was the best. I'm really happy and at the same time sad because I only booked this for 1 night, i wish I booked it for atleast a week😅 but maybe next time. Again this is not gonna be the last time that I will book this hotel. As usual the room is clean as well as the bathroom.

MM2gcp64tu****Le personnel de la réception avait des connaissances limitées sur les restaurants, les hébergements et les transports environnants, et n'a pas pu me faire de bonnes recommandations. Je suggère que l'hôtel imprime des dépliants et des informations sur les attractions touristiques, comme la façon d'aller au Lac du Soleil et de la Lune (avec l'adresse exacte pour acheter les billets et les horaires de départ) et des informations sur les sites touristiques de la ville. J'espère qu'ils seront disponibles en chinois et en anglais.
L'hôtel est un peu trop strict et rigide sur l'heure d'enregistrement. Ils préfèrent laisser les clients attendre plus d'une heure sur le canapé à la réception par temps venteux, juste pour maintenir l'heure d'enregistrement à 16h00. Personnellement, je trouve que ce n'est pas très humain.
