The accommodation is close to TRA Taichung Station and offers a reasonable price with breakfast included. However, the room is very small and lacks a place to hang clothes in the bathroom. Outside, there is only a short and narrow wardrobe that can hold about four pieces of clothing.
The breakfast is average in taste but quite greasy. Additionally, the staff in the breakfast area didn’t seem very welcoming.

CCP_LeeI write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all.
The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing?
The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room.
On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before.
It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well?
Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me.
It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again

FFlow.dotcomI had a wonderful stay at Millennium Hotel Taichung! This is truly a 5-star experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. As soon as my taxi pulled up, the bellboy came over right away and helped with my luggage—even sending it directly to my room without me needing to handle anything. Such thoughtful service!
The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. I especially loved the little touches, like the Nespresso coffee machine for a nice cup of coffee anytime. The biggest surprise was the complimentary mini bar—there were four bottles of soft drinks provided for free, which was such a nice bonus!
The bathroom was also impressively large, clean, and well-designed, adding to the overall luxurious feel of the stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Millennium Hotel Taichung if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again! 😊

服務人員說要從房間幫我領出（我們還不能進房間）

剛好小孩要上廁所
所以我們在大廳等了那個提包等了將近20分鐘

迎賓的茶水實在簡陋
房間窗景的玻璃有大面水漬（本來以為是起霧）
住房樓下的景緻有一區是雜草+看似荒廢的青苔區
感覺整個飯店最花心思的就是園藝
不太明白為何會有這區？落差很大
在所有餐點費用都是另計的前提下
真的沒有價格上的價值
食物的部分很可以
洗衣是加分的
所有服務人員接待也都很友善
如果房價下修，會考慮再訪
但如果維持此價格、此設施
不會再訪

TTan Kim WhattBest hotel we stayed since our Taiwan trip. Was upgraded to a huge room and it exceeded our expectation. Every things was explained to us patiently during our check in. It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return.

UUtilisateur anonymeLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

J'ai seulement voyage en bus quand je suis resté à Taichung et il était si confortable. Même si ma chambre n'est pas spacieuse, il est propre et confortable de rester. Le réservoir est situé à proximité du lift et le personnel de l'hôtel est très bien.

Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

MM2gcp64tu****Le personnel de la réception avait des connaissances limitées sur les restaurants, les hébergements et les transports environnants, et n'a pas pu me faire de bonnes recommandations. Je suggère que l'hôtel imprime des dépliants et des informations sur les attractions touristiques, comme la façon d'aller au Lac du Soleil et de la Lune (avec l'adresse exacte pour acheter les billets et les horaires de départ) et des informations sur les sites touristiques de la ville. J'espère qu'ils seront disponibles en chinois et en anglais.
L'hôtel est un peu trop strict et rigide sur l'heure d'enregistrement. Ils préfèrent laisser les clients attendre plus d'une heure sur le canapé à la réception par temps venteux, juste pour maintenir l'heure d'enregistrement à 16h00. Personnellement, je trouve que ce n'est pas très humain.
