La chambre n'avait même pas de chaussons et il fallait les acheter à ses frais. C'était vraiment écologique. Les brosses à dents ne sont pas fournies par beaucoup d'hôtels, donc ils n'en fournissaient pas non plus. L'avantage, c'est qu'il y a un parking payant et que le petit-déjeuner est correct. De plus, il faut réserver un grand lit, mais le prix est plus élevé que deux grands lits ; j'ai donc séjourné seul dans deux grands lits.

I stayed at 85 Cape Inn in Kaohsiung for two nights and had an amazing experience. The staff offered warm and friendly service, and I was pleasantly upgraded upon arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Dans l’ensemble, je lui donnerais la note maximale car il est parfait à tous points de vue ! L'emplacement est proche de la station MRT Sanduo, très proche du boulevard Formosa et de l'aéroport ! Clean, spacious, nice hotel. Bfast is good. We also love the small bites snacks and icecream nook. Coffee is good as well. It's near to some bus stops (2-4min walk) but a litte further to nearest train station(mrt) which is ~10min walk. When we go back to Kaoishung, we'll definitely consider staying here again.

IInvitéHotel Nikko Kaohsiung was the perfect hotel for us in Kaohsiung. It's in a quiet location in the Asia New Bay Area, a few minutes' walk to 2 light rail stations (C7-Software Technology Park and C8-Kaohsiung Exhibition Center) and 1 Metro Red Line station (R8-Sanduo Shopping District). There's a 7-11 and Family Mart directly in front of it for any drink, snack, or toiletry needs. An MWD outlet is also close by for a good breakfast, if you don't want to spend on the breakfast buffet every morning. Room service dining is available and reasonably priced, though the options are limited. Both the check-in and check-out processes went very smoothly. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but the reception staff let us go through the check-in process and leave our bags. When we returned from exploring the neighborhood, we simply collected our keys from reception and found our bags waiting for us in our room. The lap pool area was quite relaxing to hang out at. The only thing missing is a milk tea shop around the corner.

IInvitéLove the vibe of the hotel. It was a bit confusing in the beginning as they taxi driver dropped us at a dead end road. But once we saw the hotel, we were in awe. The once abandoned warehouse looked well renovated. We got the terrace quadruple loft. It was a nice space for 2 adults and 2 kids (below 5yo). The room was well decorated and feels luxurious. Kids definitely love the loft and the bath tub. The cons about the room were: - when people goes up and down the loft, it is a little noisy. - there’s no day curtain, so we didn’t dare to open the windows too wide (people outside probably can see us) - since the location is very close to the KLR station, you can hear the train passing by (just slightly) Hotel facilities are okay. There’s no breakfast but the reception has a google maps of food (breakfast brunch etc) nearby. Staff are polite and friendly. The reception is 24/7 i think, there’s 2 laundry rooms with 1 washing machine and dryer each. Both are coin operated and you can to purchase the laundry pods from the reception. There’s snacks in the lobby, water dispenser for cold, warm and hot water on every floor. The location is right in front of the Kaohsiung Light Rail Line Penglai Pier 2 station. Easy to hop on, just need 20NTD coins. It’s close to the Hamasen Museum of Taiwan Railway and Pier2 art centre (where Wooderful land is). The area is surprisingly quiet and close to a few children playgrounds. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would enjoy coming back to this hotel again.
