Nous avons séjourné deux nuits à l'hôtel Zitu. Nous possédons un Hong Kong, Macao et Taiwan Pass, ce qui n'est pas aussi pratique que les cartes d'identité nationales. Wenwen, à la réception, s'est occupée de nous. Nous sommes arrivés très tôt à l'hôtel et nous nous sommes enregistrés rapidement. On nous a également offert un délicieux yaourt. Nous sommes allés dans notre chambre, avons posé nos bagages et sommes allés jouer dehors. L'hôtel dispose de toilettes intelligentes. J'apprécie particulièrement la propreté de l'hôtel. J'ai constaté que les autres chambres étaient nettoyées avec soin lors de mon départ et que le sol était lavé à l'eau claire. Il serait préférable que l'hôtel ajoute un portant à vêtements dans la salle de bain. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité d'une station de métro et de nombreux restaurants. C'est un bon endroit pour séjourner pour les touristes.

Notre séjour à l'hôtel a été très agréable,notamment grâce au confort et à la propreté des lieux. La chambre était spacieuse, le lit extrêmement confortable et la salle de bain impeccable. Je tiens tout particulièrement à féliciter Xiaowei, la responsable de la réception, pour son service chaleureux et attentionné. Amazing location that sits right at the heart of one of Nanjing's key attractions, yet price is very affordable. You get the sense of Nanjing's vibes from early day til late at night right ar the door!!!!! The room is clean and modern with self heating toilet seat (wowww). Hôtel bien situé avec un équipement de qualité dans les chambres. Le personnel est très disponible, à l'écoute et offre un service de grande qualité. Ils nous ont aidé à faire des commandes sur JD et on réceptionné les colis. Le petit déjeuner est correct. J'ai passé 3 nuits, la première a été calme, les deux suivantes j'ai été dérangé par les voisins du dessus qui semblaient trainer des meubles... On entend bien le couloir (discussions, portes qui claques). Le rapport qualité prix reste bon. Beaucoup de restaurants et une superette très proches.

IInvitéÉquipements : Le B&B est très proche du site pittoresque de Laomendong. Je m'attendais à du bruit, mais c'est très calme. On se croirait dans un endroit paisible au cœur d'une ville animée.
Hygiène : Je l'ai commandé pour la désinfection UV. C'était vraiment propre. Le gobelet à brosse à dents a été désinfecté par la dame et apporté dans la chambre. Il était sûr à utiliser. Il y avait aussi des lingettes alcoolisées dans la chambre, ce qui était vraiment réconfortant pour les personnes atteintes de mysophobie.
Service : Le personnel du B&B est très enthousiaste (il y a aussi un gros Corgi dans le magasin - Wheat🌾super mignon hahahaha)
Le petit-déjeuner est également bon. On y trouve des fruits de bienvenue, de l'eau minérale, du coca et du café gratuits. Le patron m'a également offert une petite boîte de thé Yuhua à mon départ.

TTinaMThis is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here.
Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station.
The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day.
At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others.
On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :)
I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water.
Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

La vue nocturne sur la rivière au 25ème étage est si belle que c'est très pratique de manger en bas et il y a aussi. un supermarché. La chambre est bien rangée et dispose d'un réfrigérateur. Il est pratique de boire des boissons glacées par temps chaud. Le prix est abordable et rentable. Ils ont présenté les itinéraires vers les attractions environnantes. vain. Merci.

Je ne m'attends pas à ce qu'ils nettoient ou désinfectent le lit, mais au moins qu'ils enlèvent les ordures. Cependant, à part ça, il y a des distributeurs d'eau, des micro-ondes, des machines à laver, une zone de séchage, des toilettes et des douches dans les parties communes. La réceptionniste était également très gentille. Si l'hygiène était améliorée, ce serait beaucoup mieux.

Par contre un petit mois pour le ménage: j’ai retrouvé un vieux sac de vente à emporté dans la chambre le jour de l’arrivée et un vieux stylo sous le bureau. Bon accueil et écoute de la réception surtout la réceptionniste femme avec qui j’ai eu affaire.

The hotel is near Dongliu Station, but you need to walk about 3 blocks (15 minutes). The walk is flat, but in July and August it can get very hot, so bring an umbrella. The area is quiet and feels isolated. Although the hotel is not far from Nanjing University Xianlin Campus, there is no direct train, you need to change lines and make an awkward turn. Shared bikes (Hello blue bikes) are convenient in Xianlin, but not around this hotel. A good option is to take the B3 shuttle bus from Sanyang Road, which goes to Nanjing University train station (walking distance to NJU). Around the hotel, you will find small eateries (like chicken and duck rice shops) and a few convenience stores, but no malls.
Cleanliness
The rooms are clean, but there is a smoke smell that stays for about a day. The staff suggested opening the window and using the aircon, but I also bought a reed diffuser from Miniso to make it smell fresher. Bedsheets were changed regularly (every 5 days). The toilet slippers looked dirty, so I did not use them. Also, the hotel does not provide floor towels.
Staff & Service
The staff were very kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a bigger double room with a sofa and work area, and also gave me a cheaper rate since I stayed for 40 nights. Cleaning staff came daily, bringing bottled water and keeping the toilet clean. The night-shift counter staff were also helpful.
Facilities
There is a washing machine that can wash and dry in one cycle. Do not overload it, or clothes won’t dry properly. Since the hotel is not very busy, I could use the machine anytime without queuing. Rooms have a hair dryer and a lighted mirror. The aircon makes a small dripping sound, but it is not a real problem.
Noise
The soundproofing is generally okay, but occasionally you can hear people talking loudly if there are guests next door. It’s not the hotel’s fault—just that people in China often speak very loudly, even inside their rooms or in the corridor. Nothing much you can do about it.
Surroundings & Safety
The area is safe, with big roads and many residential apartments. In the evenings, families with kids and dogs walk around, and I also jogged nearby. Food delivery is easy drivers can bring food to your room or the counter.
Overall
It is a quiet and safe place to stay, with helpful staff and decent facilities. The location is not very convenient for NJU Xianlin Campus, but manageable if you use the shuttle bus.

Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
