the hotel was okay. the first issue was that the walls are thin and most nights we can hear our neighbors doing their business. moreover, the breakfast schedule weren’t discussed to us properly and most of the time we missed the foods because of their incompetency discussing the time change to us.
on a positive side, it’s just a bus ride away from ximending. with a fixed fee of $15 NTD one way.

Fuss free easy check in through the car park drive thru guard post. Accommodating with our side by side room request and extended one hour early check-in grace for our family with young children. Thank you Hub Hotel Xintai as this made it easy for me to quickly wind down my over tired children from the long car ride. The convenience of not having to take down our heavy luggage from the car saved us time, energy and provided so much convenience. Room was very clean, spacious and newly renovated. Bathtub was a nice have for my young children and we actually liked that the shower pressure was kept moderate to prevent water ponding and allow for a comfortable shower. TV was big and my children could watch some movies and YouTube channels which kept them occupied whilst I re-pack our luggage for departure just outside our room and right by our car. Highly recommend their room with garage if you are driving! It’s such a rare find in New Taipei City area with affordable accommodation pricing. Clean, convenient, spacious, comes with your own door step carpark and free flow snacks and ice cream! Sit in the car and check-in with sleepyhead children was so convenient and fuss free.

Tenez cela à l'esprit lors de la visite. Ce n'est pas le type de place où vous pouvez apporter des invités et des amis. C'est pourquoi je suis fini par partir plus tard. Mais si vous êtes un voyageur solitaire et sortir la plupart du jour - c'est parfait. Sandwich gratuit à toast et salade pour le petit déjeuner. Vous pouvez changer vos serviettes chaque jour. Ce n'est pas le plus propre mais aussi très abordable, donc il fait sens. Bon séjour dans l'ensemble.

the motel is located near a train station, and is ~20 min walking distance to zepp new taipei, very convenient for us as we were there for a concert. it is also ~20 min walking distance in another direction to where most of the food places are. we highly recommend this place!

La chambre à quatre personnes pendant l'année dernière, le service est bon, la chambre est large, l'équipement est amélioré pour les nouveaux salons, la chambre a des salleaux et des toilettes, vraiment super, il y a un parking, le petit déjeuner est acceptable pour nous, le sentiment général est très bon.

Le personnel parlait un anglais excellent et était très sympathique, je me suis donc sentie parfaitement dès mon arrivée ! La chambre était spacieuse et propre, et la vue était magnifique. Les fenêtres étaient impeccables et l'extérieur était calme, j'ai donc pu me reposer parfaitement ! Le petit-déjeuner n'était ni trop épicé ni trop salé, et dans l'ensemble, il était propre, équilibré et délicieux ! L'emplacement est un peu éloigné des attractions touristiques, mais si je devais emmener mes parents en taxi, je reviendrais sans hésiter. 😆

Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

L'hôtel est à environ 10 à 12 minutes à pied de la station de métro Banqiao. J'ai reçu un message de l'hôtel m'informant que des travaux étaient en cours jusqu'à fin août, mais je n'ai entendu aucun bruit de travaux pendant mon séjour. J'ai pu me détendre et me relaxer. Le lit est très confortable et la chambre très propre. J'adore le shampoing à la menthe poivrée. Mon séjour comprend le petit-déjeuner, la nourriture était correcte. Je ne mange généralement pas de riz le matin, mais lorsque j'ai essayé leur riz aux champignons et à la truffe avec sauce blanche, j'ai eu un petit creux et j'y suis retourné pour une deuxième portion. Dans l'ensemble, mon séjour a été formidable.

Cet hôtel est une excellente trouvaille ! Facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport international de Taiyuan, il se situe dans un quartier résidentiel regorgeant de restaurants pour déjeuner et dîner. De plus, il est très bien desservi par le métro. La chambre, quant à elle, est aussi propre que sur la photo !

J'y ai déjà séjourné plusieurs fois ; c'est mon adresse de prédilection à chaque fois que je suis à Sanchong. L'accueil est chaleureux, les chambres sont propres, il y a de nombreux restaurants au rez-de-chaussée et les transports sont très pratiques.
