The toilet has a very strong humid and mold smell. The bed are clean, the floor are a little bit sticky. The hotel is located inside a mall that’s why the windows can’t be open. It feels like the room needed some air purifiers.
We arrive the hotel early so we were able to use their luggage storage system. All you need to do is key in your booking number given by the hotel (via email). Otherwise, you may store your luggage at the system too.
The location is good where is it right opposite of tamsui station. The old street is also right opposite too.
There’s a good restaurant downstairs called 2nd floor. They serve really good milk tea and western breakfast.
Overall we enjoyed the stay as we had a good sleep with the bed. Just the toilet need some improvements.

We are located in Tamsui Old Street, which is very close to various attractions and has a variety of food along the way, such as traditional flavor cakes, shrimp rolls, pepper pork cake. Sitting along the Tamsui River and enjoy the natural river breeze. In the afternoon, the sun reflects to form a golden river surface, which is the famous golden coast. The sunset in Tamsui is an unmissable beauty when you come to Tamsui. After the sunset, take the bus (red 26) to the Fisherman’s Wharf, walk on the beautifully decorated Lover’s Bridge, enjoy dinner at the music restaurant by the pier, and come down all day. What you see is fresh water with different appearances. Only by staying longer can you find that fresh water is a place worth slowing down. Welcome to Danshui and welcome your arrival!
Cet endroit est fabuleux, il est central à tamsui, avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix et le personnel est très sympathique. On se sent vraiment à la maison et on rencontre pas mal de touristes du monde entier. On a un 7/12 juste a côté et la rivière est très proche . Ne pas hésiter à venir

Located at Exit 2 of Zhongxiao Dunhua Station of the MRT in the East district, the transportation network is very convenient. It is only take 5-minute drive from Taipei Arena, and only 15-20 minutes for science and technology industrial parks such as Neihu and Nangang.
La vue de la chambre est très belle, vue complète sur la mer car nous logeons au dernier étage. La chambre est très spacieuse. La literie est correcte mais un peu molle pour moi. La salle de bain est bien et la pression de l'eau est très stable et la température de l'eau chaude est bonne. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un peu loin de la ville mais très proche du métro. Si vous souhaitez visiter Tamtsui, c'est un bon choix. La direction devrait améliorer la propreté de la chambre, mais par rapport au prix, c'est bien pour moi de revenir.

這裏離淡水地鐵站很近，交通非常方便，周邊也有市場可以逛，生活機能不錯。建議在攜程下單後，可以主動聯繫房東拿聯繫方式，溝通起來會更順暢一些。我去的時候入住的人不多，環境安靜，感覺挺有私密性，適合喜歡安靜的朋友～😊 PS. 淡水的風景很美，食物也很好吃，真的很贊！不管是看海、散步還是品嚐在地小吃，都讓人覺得很放鬆～

Un hôtel idéalement situé. Cette fois, j'avais prévu d'emmener ma femme et mes enfants sur la côte nord pour des activités nautiques, et j'ai décidé d'utiliser Tamsui comme une courte halte en chemin. C'était donc très confortable.

this is the second day i stayed in this hotel consecutively. i needed to check out at 11:00 in the morning and check in at 1500 in the afternoon. i guess the room type was out when i was making the booking, i couldnt book the same room from for both nights at that moment. i thought the hotel could make some kinda special arrangement to make smooth customer experience. i just still need to pack everything, check out in the morning and check in in the afternoon. i went out for a local visit and come back to check in. it was not a big deal, but the customer experience is not good. it feels like the hotel doenst care.
other than this, everything else is good. especially the receptionist helped to call the taxi as its inconvenient location.

Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

UUtilisateur anonymeC'était ma première réservation dans cet hôtel. J'ai rencontré quelques problèmes à l'arrivée. Le personnel a demandé un supplément pour l'un de nos enfants de 9 ans.
Je lui ai dit que Trip.com indiquait qu'aucun supplément n'était requis. Finalement, il a fait une erreur en pensant que nous réserverions une chambre avec deux lits simples au lieu d'une chambre avec trois lits.
Quelle erreur ! À part ça, la chambre et les équipements étaient super. L'hôtel Cham Cham est vraiment Cham (Hokkien) !

Option 1 : Passez la vieille rue Jiufen, puis un escalier, puis tournez à droite pendant 2 minutes.
Option 2 : Empruntez la vieille rue Jiufen et marchez environ 5 minutes jusqu'à ce que vous aperceviez un grand café à une intersection. Tournez à gauche et continuez en montée pendant 1 minute.

BBabypinkalisticFuss free easy check in through the car park drive thru guard post. Accommodating with our side by side room request and extended one hour early check-in grace for our family with young children. Thank you Hub Hotel Xintai as this made it easy for me to quickly wind down my over tired children from the long car ride. The convenience of not having to take down our heavy luggage from the car saved us time, energy and provided so much convenience. Room was very clean, spacious and newly renovated. Bathtub was a nice have for my young children and we actually liked that the shower pressure was kept moderate to prevent water ponding and allow for a comfortable shower. TV was big and my children could watch some movies and YouTube channels which kept them occupied whilst I re-pack our luggage for departure just outside our room and right by our car. Highly recommend their room with garage if you are driving! It’s such a rare find in New Taipei City area with affordable accommodation pricing. Clean, convenient, spacious, comes with your own door step carpark and free flow snacks and ice cream! Sit in the car and check-in with sleepyhead children was so convenient and fuss free.

UUtilisateur anonymeC'était mon premier séjour à Taipei et je logeais chez un ami. Il y avait des supérettes 7-Eleven et FamilyMart à proximité, ce qui était très pratique. Le seul inconvénient était la distance d'environ dix minutes à pied pour rejoindre les stations de bus et de métro, et la nécessité d'une carte pour accéder aux ascenseurs. Il me semble qu'il y avait des fontaines à eau aux 2e, 4e et 5e étages. Le prix était proportionnel au prix de la chambre.
