VValarie474A Sanctuary When I Needed It Most
I arrived in Taiyuan not feeling well and ended up staying seven nights without ever leaving the room. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible.
Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it.
The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at.
For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

IInvitéCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

Les chambres sont calmes, propres, confortables et spacieuses. Le seul inconvénient est le manque de rangements : une petite chaise et une table minuscule suffisent. Pas de crochets, d'étagères ni de portants, juste beaucoup d'espace vide dans ces grandes chambres.

L'environnement est si beau, l'halle est élégant et chaud, la chambre est soigneusement et calme, l'hygiène est plus difficile à choisir, les lits sont blancs et sans odeur, la salle de bain est propre ou séparée séparément, il n'y a pas de poussière dans le coin. Le service de transport gratuit est très intime, le conducteur est amable et amable à temps, et il est économe de se débrouiller. WWuyanLa position géographique de l'hôtel est excellente, les réunions sont en cours, la chambre est très tensive et se sent très nerveuse. L'hôtel dispose de la chambre avant 12 heures, donc de Shijiahuang à plus de trois heures de conduire au magasin à 12 heures. Je pensais que vous pouviez vous installer avant un peu. Je ne pensais pas que vous pouviez attendre jusqu'à 2 heures 50. Il y a un jour de pluie. Le chauffeur peut être dans la voiture, Les chaussures à côté de deux petits bureaux de la réception sont enfoncées. Après deux jours, la température de l'eau chaude est estimée à plus de 30 degrés, il est impossible de se débarrasser de tout. Les installations de l'hôtel sont vieux, en particulier 15 et 6 interrupteurs de lampes... Les fenêtres sont également portées manuellement, la petite télévision, le vieux cheminée... Le parking sous-terrain est très bon! J'espère que l'hôtel pourra améliorer progressivement les anciens installations chaque année.

Mmel520Amazing location! The restaurant was surrounded by lots of restaurants and a bustling night market. Walking distance to many of the popular streets downtown. The room was clean and very comfortable and I really appreciated that there is a free washing machine/dryer to use. I booked the room with breakfast however due to an early flight I couldn’t eat so the front desk gave me extra snacks instead!

I cannot recommend Yiyun Hotel (Taiyuan Station West Square Subway Station Liu Xiang) enough! This stay was absolutely incredible and completely exceeded my expectations.
First and foremost, a massive thank you to the hotel for being so welcoming to my two fur babies (my dog babies)! 🐶🐶 Finding a place that not only allows pets but treats them with such kindness and respect is rare. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pups and I felt comfortable and at home. They are truly amazing employees—so warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They are a credit to this hotel!
The room itself was fantastic. We had an awesome view from the window overlooking the city scenery, which was just beautiful to wake up to. It added such a special touch to our trip.
But the location? UNBEATABLE. You simply cannot beat it.
· Transport: The subway station is literally right in front of the main door of the hotel. You are connected to the entire city instantly.
· Tourist Spots: All the great tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. We barely needed transport because everything was so accessible!
If you are visiting Taiyuan, whether for business, leisure, or especially if you are traveling with pets, stop looking and book this hotel. It is very, very highly recommended.
I will definitely come back to this amazing hotel the next time I’m in town. Thank you again to the whole team at Yiyun Hotel for a flawless stay

MMufVinArI had a wonderful experience staying at the Grand Metropark Wanshi Hotel. The hotel offers great comfort at an affordable price, complete with a bathtub in the room. I playfully requested flower decorations on the bed, honeymoon-style—and to my surprise, the hotel fulfilled the request for free! My wife was ecstatic, and I was genuinely impressed by their willingness to go the extra mile.
The breakfast and lunch were delicious, with halal food options available. The hotel is in a convenient location, with easy access to various destinations. There's even a Bank of China next door, perfect for foreign currency exchange or cash withdrawals.
Across the hotel, you'll find Ming Supermarket, which offers snacks at very low prices—great for souvenirs. There are also plenty of halal food vendors, including a Muslim-run lamb skewer stall and other street snacks, so you'll never go hungry.
While the hotel staff's English skills are limited, communication was smooth using Google Translate. The front desk even taught me how to order food online using *******. A highlight of our stay was their delivery robot, which brought food from the lobby directly to our room. It was impressive and fun to experience!
I highly recommend Grand Metropark Wanshi Hotel for travelers seeking a delightful, hassle-free stay in Taiyuan. Their warm service and thoughtful amenities made our trip unforgettable.
