En remontant la rue en escalier, on trouve à la sortie à droite une boulangerie . Les croissants sont très bons et on peut boire du café la vieille ville est agréable à visiter.

J'ai passé un séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel, idéalement situé à proximité des principaux sites touristiques de la vieille ville de Lijiang. Sa situation en hauteur offre une vue imprenable, permettant d'admirer la quasi-totalité de la vieille ville depuis l'établissement : absolument magnifique, surtout au coucher du soleil ! Le petit-déjeuner gratuit a été une agréable surprise, proposant une grande variété de plats délicieux pour bien commencer la journée. Le personnel a fait de son mieux pour nous aider à porter nos bagages depuis la station de taxi, située à quelques centaines de mètres, facilitant ainsi l'enregistrement. Le propriétaire était incroyablement accueillant, nous donnant de précieux conseils sur les attractions locales et nous guidant dans les environs, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le service chaleureux et l'emplacement privilégié font de cet hôtel un véritable bijou. Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui visitent Lijiang !

La chambre est très spacieuse et la vue magnifique. L'emplacement est idéal : on se sent comme dans un quartier local tout en étant proche de la vieille ville, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, un peu à l'écart de l'agitation. Le ragoût de poisson vapeur du restaurant Yunmu Yao, juste en bas des escaliers, est un incontournable et a été un moment fort de notre séjour. Quelques détails pourraient être améliorés, comme la fourniture d'un tapis de bain et de lait corporel. Il n'y a pas non plus de crochets pour les serviettes près de la douche. La propreté était globalement correcte, mais quelques cheveux ont été oubliés dans la douche et il y a un peu de calcaire. Dans l'ensemble, j'y retournerais volontiers.

The wooden inn in the small building is decorated with a plethora of fresh flowers, and each guest room in the inn is unique, spacious and bright, equipped with solid wood furniture and air conditioning. PpostcardsandstampsWe enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return.
Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet.
Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy.
Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea.
Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent.
Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights.
Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

RRenee C.I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay.
Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out.
YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful.
First impressions were great.
As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing.
I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable.
Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup.
There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby.
Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin.
The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing.
The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay.
I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

A special shoutout to 阿龙 (A-Long), 李琳 (Li Lin), and the entire team. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like family rather than just a guest. Their attentive, friendly, and proactive service is the heart of this boutique stay.

Our room was a dream—clean, incredibly spacious, and centered around a large window that framed the mountain views perfectly. While the aesthetic is traditional, the amenities are high-tech, ensuring a stay that is as convenient as it is comfortable.
🍎 Heartwarming Touches
We happened to stay during Christmas Eve, and the staff surprised us with two beautifully wrapped Lijiang Apples (平安夜苹果) for good luck and peace. It was such a thoughtful, culturally resonant gesture that made our holiday feel so personal.
✨ All-Inclusive Ease
The value here is exceptional. We loved that breakfast, afternoon tea, and even laundry services were included. It took all the stress out of our travel, allowing us to simply sink into the relaxing atmosphere of the inn.

古城内车辆无法进入，但完全不用担心行李问题。客栈贴心地安排了火车站免费接送，到达古城口后还有人力神同步拉车帮我们把行李一路护送到客栈，服务非常周到。

IInvitéAprès avoir séjourné dans de nombreuses auberges de la vieille ville de Lijiang, celle-ci est vraiment exceptionnelle ! Nous avons été bluffés dès notre descente du bus : le propriétaire nous attendait à l'entrée. Il nous a aidés à porter nos bagages dans les rues pavées et nous a fait partager ses connaissances locales. On se sentait comme un ami de longue date.
L'auberge est nichée au cœur de la vieille ville, tout en offrant une tranquillité au milieu de l'agitation. En journée, on peut profiter du soleil et du thé, et le soir, écouter le chant des insectes et contempler les étoiles : c'est l'exemple parfait de la douceur de vivre de Lijiang. Notre chambre avec terrasse au deuxième étage offrait une vue fantastique. En ouvrant la fenêtre, nous pouvions admirer le panorama sur la vieille ville blanchie à la chaux et ses murs blancs. Se réveiller au soleil et au chant des oiseaux était tellement relaxant !
La chambre était impeccablement propre, la literie douce et confortable, l'eau chaude abondante et constante, et même les produits de toilette dégageaient un subtil parfum botanique. Le souci du détail du propriétaire était évident. Chaque matin, le petit-déjeuner se composait de nouilles de riz du Yunnan fraîchement préparées par la boutique – une expérience réconfortante et satisfaisante !
Ce qui m'a le plus touché, c'est la gentillesse du propriétaire. Sachant que nous voulions admirer le lever du soleil, il a même consulté la météo et l'itinéraire à l'avance. Lorsque nous nous sommes perdus en explorant la vieille ville ce soir-là, il est venu nous chercher rapidement et nous a recommandé plusieurs restaurants locaux d'excellent rapport qualité-prix. Séjourner ici, c'était comme séjourner chez un ami, sans l'atmosphère aliénante d'un hôtel.
Si je retourne un jour à Lijiang, cette auberge sera sans aucun doute mon premier choix ! IInvitéL'hôtel est idéalement situé près du sommet de la montagne du Lion, offrant une vue imprenable et dégagée sur la vieille ville et la montagne enneigée de Yu Long. Le quartier animé de Si Fang Jie se trouve à quelques pas, offrant un accès pratique au cœur de la ville tout en conservant une atmosphère sereine et paisible.
Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et confortables, avec des lits confortables qui garantissent un séjour reposant. Le personnel est exceptionnellement amical et serviable, aidant à organiser les billets pour la montagne enneigée de Yu Long et fournissant des recommandations éclairées pour explorer d'autres attractions. Ils vont même plus loin en aidant avec les bagages.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un mélange parfait de commodité, de confort et de vues imprenables. C'est une expérience à ne pas manquer !

IInvitéThis is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The butler was exceptionally quick to respond, and everything we requested was delivered to our room within minutes. The receptionist 橙子 consistently checked where we were headed and whether transportation was needed, and even reminded us to wear a hat when the UV was strong. Truly thoughtful 👍
I wanted to buy two boxes of flower cakes to bring home, but the shop was quite far from the hotel and I didn’t want to travel that far just for them. Orange took the initiative to bring two boxes back for me from the city. That was incredibly heartwarming 🥹
Even after we checked out, the receptionist 三朵messaged us to make sure we arrived in Shanghai safely 🥹 All these little details show how much they genuinely care about every guest.
There was also a skinny gentleman (didn’t get his name) who kindly reminded us to bring extra clothes or a shawl before we headed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley, as the weather could be colder up there.
Every night, the butler would check if we needed warm milk or hot chocolate before bed. These small, thoughtful gestures really show how sincere and attentive the staff are.

IInvitéLa vue de l'hôtel est folle et belle, chaque coin du lobby et de la chambre, et le lieu est super bien conçu. Le bain n'était pas trop exposé par la fenêtre, l'eau était FAST ET HOT (qui n'est pas donné dans tous les hôtels de notre expérience) et tout simplement toutes les parties de la chambre était bien pensée.
En plus de cela, l'équipe d'hôtel était vraiment EXCEPTIONNELLE dans leur service!
Ils m'ont contacté dès le départ, avant le voyage, et ont même aidé à organiser notre voyage de la gare à l'hôtel, très tard la nuit avant notre séjour. Ils étaient prompts à répondre à toutes mes questions et à me donner des informations à l'avance même avant que je ne m'attendais à demander les informations. Durant notre voyage de montagne de Jade dragon, que nous avons dû quitter l'hôtel à 5.30am, et ils ont préparé un peu pour aller au petit déjeuner pour nous, même lorsque le temps normal bfast était 8-10am, donc nous avons un peu de carburant pour la longue journée.
Mon partenaire est vraiment malade pendant le voyage. C'est là que leur service m'a vraiment touché. Et puis, ils nous ont aidé à fournir un thermomètre pour vérifier sa température et quand nous avons trouvé qu'il avait une fièvre élevée, ils nous ont recommandé d'aller à l'hôpital, préparés le voyage pour nous gratuitement et même nous ont donné leurs propres chauffe-feu et linge-feu pour lui à Il a été très aimable de se rendre à l'hôpital, de le faire naviguer seul dans un pays étranger (il était v de là) et de faire un tour de nerfs, et l'équipe était incroyablement gentille et informative et utile tout au long du voyage. En fait, chaque personne de l'équipe était si excellente et gentille et utile et ayant souhaité que je vous aies tous écrasés avant de partir, merci beaucoup

La plus importante est l'hôtel. Le toit est le point de jeu unique de l'hôtel. Fleurs, piano, pâques de l'après-midi, vous pouvez également aller plus loin avec la montagne de neige. Il y a des tables, des chansons K, La salle de sport est trop complète.

IInvitéDans l'ensemble, mon séjour au Banyan Tree Lijiang m'a pleinement satisfait. L'hôtel offre une vue imprenable sur les sommets enneigés et un cadre paisible et magnifique, propice à la détente et aux vacances.
Bien que les chambres soient un peu vieillottes, elles étaient impeccables, propres et bien rangées, et tous les équipements fonctionnaient parfaitement. Le souci du détail témoigne de l'engagement de l'hôtel envers la qualité.
L'équipe de service mérite une mention spéciale : son professionnalisme et sa prévenance étaient exceptionnels. L'assistance du personnel était naturelle et attentionnée, à la fois discrète et parfaitement adaptée, ce qui m'a fait me sentir respecté et choyé. Le niveau de service global était impressionnant.
Un grand merci à Frank pour son attention méticuleuse et son organisation impeccable. De la communication avant mon arrivée au suivi pendant mon séjour, tout a été rapide et professionnel, rendant l'expérience plus agréable et rassurante. Son service sincère et naturel m'a fait très bonne impression.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour de grande qualité à Lijiang.

IInvitéNous avons été absolument ravis de notre séjour. Le gérant était d'une gentillesse rare : il nous a envoyé d'excellents conseils pour explorer les environs et s'est montré incroyablement réactif à toutes nos demandes, répondant instantanément à nos messages. Quand nous avons mentionné que nous aimerions une table pour nous maquiller, il nous a gratuitement surclassés ! Pour mon anniversaire, j'ai même eu la surprise de recevoir un joli bouquet de fleurs. Le ménage était fait quotidiennement par une dame très gentille. L'expérience globale a été fantastique. L'emplacement est également parfait, à deux pas des attractions principales, et avec de nombreux restaurants et commerces juste en bas de l'immeuble, c'est d'une commodité incomparable. Enfin, la salle de bain, avec ses espaces bien distincts (douche et lavabo séparés), nous a beaucoup plu.
