GGuest UserL'hôtel Indigo Glasgow est un hôtel fantastique, situé au centre-ville. À moins de 5 minutes à pied de la gare centrale de Glasgow, l'hôtel Indigo propose des chambres propres, modernes et bien équipées, avec un plateau/bouilloire, un minibar et un fer et une planche à repasser. Le lit king-size était très confortable et la température de la chambre était facilement réglable grâce au thermostat de la chambre. Le personnel était très accueillant et sympathique.

GGuest UserTrès proche des principales distractions (stade hydro OVO, musée maritime, etc.), accès facile, personnel à la réception sympathique. J'ai réservé la mauvaise date via trip.com et le personnel m'a informé que je n'étais pas le seul, heureusement, il y avait des chambres disponibles ce jour-là, j'ai donc réussi à faire changer cela gratuitement, merci à Trip.com pour votre soutien rapide. Si nous retournons un jour à Glasgow, nous y séjournerons à nouveau !

IInvitéAbsolutely amazing hotel. We got it at a time when rates were cheap so it was so worth the money. The pool and sauna were great and we were allowed to use it after check out too. Reception staff were always helpful. Good view from the window too of the river.

MMikethetravellingscouserHampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

IInvitéHave stayed at this place a few times now over many years. Great location, staff friendly. However comparing it to our other visits to (The Ponds) Leonardo we had a few niggles. Most of these concerned the bathroom. Firstly, when turning tap towards cold, the water came out like an explosion. We can only assume that it was some sort of air lock. The bathroom was very tired looking. The ceiling looked awful, like mould and the seal around the bath needed redoing. Lots of black mould, due to no ventilation. We knew beforehand there was no air-con, however the temperature was unbelievably hot. One of the lifts was out of order for all of our stay. The other lift was incredibly slow when called.

Je ne reste ici qu'une nuit, 🌝 mais l'heure d'enregistrement, sur trip.com, il est indiqué 16h00, je pense qu'il est assez tard, mais nous nous enregistrons 15 minutes avance, c'est bon. Et la position est pratique, c'est près de la gare, donc un bon hôtel où séjourner. Cependant, le système de ventilation de la salle de bain est un peu bruyant. Les fenêtres ne semblent pas non plus s'ouvrir. Même si c'est un hôtel qui a l'air vieux, dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon essai.
