Hôtels près de Musée Hunterian, Glasgow

L'hôtel Indigo Glasgow est un hôtel fantastique, situé au centre-ville. À moins de 5 minutes à pied de la gare centrale de Glasgow, l'hôtel Indigo propose des chambres propres, modernes et bien équipées, avec un plateau/bouilloire, un minibar et un fer et une planche à repasser. Le lit king-size était très confortable et la température de la chambre était facilement réglable grâce au thermostat de la chambre. Le personnel était très accueillant et sympathique.

Hôtel très bien placé, non loin de la station de bus BUCHANAN ce qui est très pratique pour les arrivées de l'aéroport. Très propre, tout était conforme aux photos. Personnel très agréable : réception, personnel en général. Très bonne literie. Insonorisation excellente. Expérience à refaire

Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été excellente. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité de la gare ScotRail et de l'arrêt de bus pour l'aéroport. La salle de sport est également très bien équipée, avec des haltères. La chambre est spacieuse.

La chambre était propre. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec canapé-lit, mais le lit n'avait pas été fait. Nous avons finalement dû demander les draps. Sinon, la chambre était propre et bien équipée. Le petit-déjeuner était bon et chaud. Nous reviendrons.

Mon petit-fils et moi étions à Glasgow pour le match Écosse-Portugal et nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, car nous avons réservé via l'hôtel et avons eu droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit. L'hôtel est idéalement situé et le personnel était sympathique et serviable. J'y séjournerais certainement à nouveau.

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

Excellente expérience. A distance de marche de la gare centrale. Le petit déjeuner est assez bon avec une bonne variété de plats chauds et froids. Le personnel de la réception est très sympathique.

Nous avons séjourné pendant la saison de Noël et il y avait un marché Xmas à côté de la porte.

Le personnel de l'hôtel était très aimable et utile et nous avons réservé un taxi au début de la matinée à l'aéroport et vérifié si les travaux de route récents étaient achevés. La chambre était grande et le restaurant avait de beaux repas. C'est un grand endroit pour rester à Glasgow.

C'était un super séjour, je suis content que la chambre ait une fenêtre, même si la dernière n'en avait pas 👌
