I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. Prime Central Location: You really can’t beat the placement of this hotel. Being right by New Street Station makes it a seamless experience for anyone travelling for business or looking to explore the city center. Modern Rooms: The rooms felt fresh and updated. As is standard with the newer Premier Inns, the ”hypnos” beds and modern decor provide a reliable, high-quality sleep environment that rivals much more expensive boutique hotels. The Service: A Bit of a Rough Start My only real gripe was the check-in experience. Travelling for business with multiple rooms can already be a bit of a juggle, and I found the staff member at the desk to be quite abrupt. I had booked two rooms and requested they be on the same floor. Initially, I was told this wasn't possible, which felt a bit dismissive. However, after I pressed the issue, the staff member did eventually check the system and managed to accommodate us on the same floor. The Verdict While the customer service lacked that ”warm welcome” feel initially, the actual product—the room and the location—is excellent. It’s a solid choice for a business trip, provided you don't mind a potentially brisk interaction at the front desk.

J'ai passé un séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel. L'emplacement était idéal : à proximité de tout ce dont j'avais besoin et parfait pour explorer la région. Le personnel était exceptionnel : aimable, attentionné et toujours prêt à aider. Un grand merci.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Meilleur séjour au Royaume-Uni jusqu'à présent, c'est abordable pour les familles et mon séjour a été très confortable… la réception était très serviable sur TOUT 💙 le parking était pratique… Les commodités 11/10🤩 tout était inclus lave-vaisselle, plaque de cuisson, casseroles, cuillères, la climatisation et le chauffage étaient dans l'unité… INCROYABLE💌 et pour couronner le tout, étant un créatif, j'adore absolument l'attention portée aux détails et le design de l'endroit😌↕️ je réserverais certainement un autre séjour avec Staycity😊

Très bon hôtel avec beaucoup d'équipements. Le spa était relaxant. Piscine de taille convenable. Le sauna et le hammam étaient grands

After unable to leave Birmingham, We decided to stop at the Clayton again and give it another night from the bad system issues they were having. This was a lot better granted and the floors are very secure having floor locked to your key cards to get access. Breakfast we were earlier down and it paid off. Breakfast was better this time. Only little issue was the bathroom could do with a bit more attention to detail with little bits of little black mold in the more harder to reach areas and red residue in the grouting in the tiles. Apart from that sure I’d sure recommend it for the pricing

5 étoiles. Salle exceptionnellement propre, personnel exquis et un emplacement invincible. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est à une distance de marche et les boutiques et équipements environnants le rendent le lieu parfait. Personnes amicales tout au long et un séjour tout à fait excellent. Recommandé.
