Good and bad experience Everything about this property is amazing Food is good Service is top notch Location is excellent The only thing which I don't understand is at the time of checking in the room they don't tell exactly how many bath towels or face towels are placed in room before or any such amenities but after checking out they will just check the room and tell you very politely that 1 or 2 face towels are missing and you have to pay for it. My only question to the owner or management team is that how can you or your staff can accuse the guests without even letting us know how many were there before. We also trust your hotel staff with our luggage while checking in but we don't accuse you for such things. If the management has made this rule to check the room at the time of checking out then please make sure that guests knows exactly what all amenities are provided by you and the quantity also at the time of checking in. And if the management has not made any such rule then please take care of these small things as these kind of bad experiences ruins all the good ones. Hopefully nobody else has to go through this in future. And yes everyone should do visit this amazing property at least once of they are seeking for relaxing holiday

Vraiment Royal Rajasthan expérience à Fatehgarh. Cherché tous les minutes de l'hébergement, de la check-in sans soudure à l'humilité et extrêmement hospitalité du personnel. Je suis heureux de choisir Fatehgarh sur les 5 étoiles d'Udaipur pour célébrer mon anniversaire. La vue 360 remontant, la montée de la lune et le soir. Il y a 2 piscines dans la propriété, à la fois vue infinie et très propre. Cherry sur le gâteau, les pratiques durables de la propriété, depuis l'électricité solaire jusqu'au recyclage de l'eau, utilisation de plastique zéro. La collection de voitures vintage est exquise et la voiture vintage est une expérience devant être essayée avec Mohan Singh. Mention spéciale à Akshay et Bharath pour rendre notre séjour affligé et mémorable. Le repas avec vue sur la ville d'Udaipur et le dîner de la lumière de la bougie est surréaliste. Kudos à la collection de Fateh pour attirer tant d'attention sur les détails dans chaque coin et aspect du resort.

The location: Perfect, just 2 minutes walk to the City Palace. Only notice that cars can not reach to the hotel's door because it's located inside steep alley. The staff: very welcoming ,specially Nitesh, and trying to help us to enjoy our trip in Udaipur with their recommendations without any push to upsell hotel's services. Brilliant work by all of them, from the bellboy and doorman to the reception and the restaurant staff. The room: very clean, great shower, amazing view to the lake. Well minimalist decorations and also writing your name on a chalkboard beside your room which is beautiful. Foods: the lunch was so delicious, we ate Biryani. The complimentary tea on the rooftop for the sunset was an amazing idea by the hotel's managers. We didn't like the breakfast so much, it was so simple and completely different from the pictures on Google Maps but the staff's amazing attitude and behavior makes this issue go unnoticed. One thing to notice is there is no elevator so you need to go up the stairs for 3-4 level, as there are 3 levels for the rooms and the restaurant is on the 4th level. But if you are young like us, then that wouldn't be any problem and staying at this beautiful hotel worth to climb stairs.

Beautiful hotel. However we asked the guy in dinning to check if our room have dinner. He said yes and asked us to come 7:30pm for dinner. While we were eating other staff asked the guy what is their room number. We overhead that the guy (can’t remember his name) said let them eat since they have already started. He ignored us because he knew that he gave us wrong information. We appreciated for nice dinner and left but one of staff ran (Meena)to us at pool area and asked as to sign the invoice. We asked why when the guy said we can eat after checking our room number. She said it’s for our record. However when I checked out staff member Ohi asked us to pay 3098 Inr. We were getting late as our transport was waiting. We didn’t fuss about it and paid it because we are not clear on our checkout.  I just want the hotel to refund this cost because it’s not our mistake.

Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour au Zana Lake Resort. Les vues du lac Udai Sagar de la chambre étaient tout simplement remarquables. Nous n'avons pas pu, honnêtement, prendre nos yeux. L'ensemble de la propriété a une vibe très pacifique, magnifiquement conçu et bien entretenu. Le restaurant est entièrement végétarien. Nous avons choisi à la carte et essayé Paneer Tikka Masala pour le déjeuner et Gutta Curry pour le dîner étaient tous deux moyennes. La piscine est très propre et bien entretenue, et, comme les chambres, elle offre une vue sur le lac. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et avec presque toutes les installations. Un sèche-cheveux est disponible sur demande.

A beautiful, stylish, boutique hotel with a lake view. It is not directly on the lake shore, but is separated by a road and a piece of someone's property under construction that spoils the view, especially when the wind blows stronger and lifts the black tarpaulin. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated, in beautiful pastel, calming colors and has that Rajasthani, traditional vibe. My room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean, with complimentary shower accessories and dental kits and also has a window, so you can enjoy the view while taking a shower. There is generally no noise from the road and you can sleep peacefully, as long as your neighbors in the rooms next to and above your room are mindful of the house rules. I would especially like to express my gratitude to Mayan who allowed me to check in very early, as soon as I arrived around 8am, without insisting that I wait for the usual check-in time, and who provided me with as many bottles of water as I requested, free of charge. The view from the restaurant's roof terrace is beautiful at dusk and at night. If the walls were painted seasonally and the rooms freshened up, it would contribute even more to the overall experience, but even this way you get excellent value for money.

When we first arrived our booked room was unavailable so they put us in a deluxe room with a living area and balcony.... But the festival was so loud. It was good for photos but not for sleeping. Unfortunately the room had a strong smoking smell so the next day we switched to the room booked the double room for family. Honestly we liked 408 much better than fancy room.... It was one flight from the restaurant. We didn't like the set breakfast that comes with room but the restaurant upstairs has a super good american breakfast with imported USA bacon. Best breakfast we've had in india in 3 weeks. Worth the extra money. Also get 15 percent off if staying at the hotel. The service was fantastic The only negative is cannot take taxi directly to hotel but you can take a tuk tuk or call hotel they will send boys to carry luggage up for you. Other than that location is perfect.

A mixed review. Staff were very helpful in arranging flowers for my wife and the location is perfect, right on the lake with a lovely view of the ghat and sunrise. But this also means that things can get noisy at night, especially during a festival. The room was tired and smelt. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay but staff tried to insist on guests eating breakfast inside which was very strange given that there was an outside dining area with a beautiful (world class) view of sunrise. The hotel restaurant was overpriced, chaotic and very loud. Priority on tables was given to groups who didn't order food or drinks, took insta pictures and then left. At the same time, several families were turned away. Tried to order a diet coke, was told that we couldn't have one despite them being in the fridge. Kingfisher was 600 a bottle which is a 240% mark up from the wine shops. Overall, great location let down by some tired rooms and poor service.
