Quoi qu'il en soit, pour quelqu'un comme moi qui voyageait seul, c'était peut-être un peu trop. Je n'y retournerai donc probablement pas. Oh, mais je pense que ce serait amusant si des couples ou des amoureux y allaient.

청결도는 최상 - 다양한 호텔과 펜션을 가봤지만 이렇게 깔끔한 숙소는 처음입니다. 특히 히노끼 욕조의 관리가 정말 최고에요.
서비스도 최상입니다. 아마 주인 부부님께서 운영하시는 것 같은데, 석식 서비스 최고, 겨울철 따뜻한 밀푀유 나베를 통해서 온 몸을 따뜻하게 할 수 있어서 정말 좋았습니다.
그리고 연잎밥도 정말 맛있고, 2번이나 주셨어요, 너무 맛있어서 많이 먹었스니다. 밑반찬도 와 오랜만에 집밥을 먹었습니다. 건강해지는 기분이고 완전 힐링하는 기분이였습니다.
시설도 최상급으로 좋았습니다. 강력하게 추천합니다.
특히 히노끼 너무 좋아요 완전 새거. 아직도 몸이 부들부들 거리고 좋네요.^^

IInvitéI had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel.
My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical.
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget.
Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.

SstanloonaAn amazing once-in-a-lifetime hanok experience!! The place was absolutely beautiful, and our host was the kindest person ever. Their service was amazing, even providing us with a bottle of wine, and free breakfast even though it originally didn’t come with our booking. We visited Gyeongju for 3 nights during the windy winter of February, so some of the pros & cons may not be applicable for other seasons:
Pros:
- Amazing location: right in the heart of Gyeongju’s trendy hanok district, it is a few minutes walk from Hwangnidan-Gil street, Cheonmachong etc. Despite this district being absolutely PACKED in the weekend, our hanok was tucked in a more cozy, quiet corner, above a restaurant. It was then really quiet in our hanok, and we surprisingly didn’t have any problem of smells from the restaurant downstairs coming up into our rooms.
- Clean aesthetic that perfectly balances the vibes of a traditional hanok, and a modern hotel. Suitable for those travelling with older families, for example, who may not be able to sleep comfortably on hard floors. The interior designer for this hanok deserves a raise
- Floor heating was done well, and we didn’t feel cold at all despite the winds at night during our winter stay
- gigantic TV
- host was very kind and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp!
- appreciated that the toilet and shower were very clean and modern as well!
Cons:
- there weren’t any wardrobes, and not many hangers were provided to hang your clothes. It’s only a minor issue, since we had more coats for our winter wear. However, since most people are booking this hanok for short stays, it shouldnt be a big issue either
- as we came here via car at night, the parking lot assigned to us was a ~2min walk away from the actual hanok, so it was a bit confusing to locate the parking lot and hanok in the dark at first.
- at night, the winds in the winter get quite strong, and so like any wooden house - there will naturally be quite a bit of sound like the wooden door shaking, sound of wind etc. Coming from the city, we were a bit scared and thought there were intruders at first LOL. This isn’t a big problem (especially during less windy seasons), but I think it’s just worth keeping in mind, especially if you are very sensitive to sounds when sleeping.
If these cons aren’t applicable or big issues for you, then yes I would more than recommend this hanok stay!!! It’s a rare experience, and hence worth the money imho!

SSamyThHostel is very near to Gyeonju Express Bus terminal and Gyeonju Intercity Bus terminal by 5 minutes walk. GS25 is on the corner of alley. Enter alley for.10 meters and turn right then look on the left side you will see. The owner is very friendly, speak English and very kindly advise travelling.

MMaikeNous avons passé un très bon moment ici à l'hôtel Palace. L'hôtel lui-même est proche de toutes les attractions (accessibles à pied) et également facilement accessible en bus.
Autrement que prévu, nous avons pu nous enregistrer avant 17 heures (ce que j'ai trouvé assez tard) sans rien facturer !
De plus, toutes les installations étaient super propres et la chambre elle-même était assez grande.
Comme d'autres l'ont déjà mentionné, tout le monde peut utiliser la cafétéria pour préparer des ramen, du café et obtenir de l'eau GRATUITEMENT - cela a beaucoup plu.
Le petit déjeuner était simple mais bon (pain grillé, confiture, beurre de cacahuète, yaourt, fruits) et je pense que si vous venez avant que les invités prennent tout pour eux, il y aura suffisamment de tout aussi pour vous.
Je recommande pleinement cet endroit - la seule chose qui serait géniale serait de grandes serviettes pour la douche.

IInvitéLes chambres hanok (maisons traditionnelles coréennes) sont uniques, petites mais raffinées et d'une propreté impeccable. Une cuisine commune est également à disposition. Nous avions réservé une chambre double, mais elle ne disposait que d'un seul matelas double, contrairement à nos attentes : nous pensions avoir deux jeux de couvertures séparés, ce qui fut un peu décevant. Cependant, l'emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur de Hwangritan-ro, à deux pas des attractions touristiques, toutes accessibles à pied. Le petit-déjeuner est offert, mais il faut en informer le propriétaire du hanok à l'avance. Ce dernier est même venu nous demander le lendemain matin si nous le souhaitions, une attention très appréciable.

LLeo52Hôtel très sympa pour passer quelques jours à Gyeongju, l’hôtel est propre, le petit déjeuner simple, et l’emplacement est proche de la gare routière et des points d’intérêt de la ville.
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés avec mon amis qui était en béquille il nous a changé notre chambre pour avoir moins d’escalier à monter.

MmaggieyuLe premier problème était que le personnel de la réception ne parlait pas anglais, ce qui rendait la communication difficile. À quoi bon accueillir des touristes internationaux si le personnel ne parle pas anglais ? C’est gênant pour tout le monde. Deuxièmement, toutes les prises électriques de la chambre étaient de type coréen ; j’ai dû payer une caution de 10 000 wons pour emprunter une prise internationale à l’hôtel. Troisièmement, la lumière de l’entrée de la chambre était équipée d’un détecteur de mouvement, ce qui signifie qu’elle s’allumait automatiquement si quelqu’un se levait pour aller aux toilettes en pleine nuit, et les toilettes étaient très bruyantes. Lorsque je suis arrivé pour quitter l’hôtel à 7 h du matin, le couloir était plongé dans le noir. Il n’y avait ni café ni thé. Mis à part cela, le séjour était correct et la propreté acceptable.

WWBeautiful chalet-style place for staying! The bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and organised. A few chairs and a table to do work or eat. Very spacious area for watching tv. There’s a bbq pit outside each unit. The host brought fresh towels for my second night, thank you! I love the beautiful decoration and swimming pool downstairs, even though it’s cold at night. It has a charming atmosphere, with an outdoor screen, swings and nice music. Sound insulation is ok, although you can hear the frogs croak outside from the bathroom.
The place is about 20 mins’ walk from the bus stop with restaurants, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Theres a emart24 about 10 minutes away. There’s a restaurant next door that sells fried chicken till 11pm. It’s a must-try! Host and his wife are extremely helpful people. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
Highly recommended for people who want privacy and lots of space to hang out.
