GGuest UserCet hôtel n'est peut-être pas un établissement cinq étoiles de luxe, mais dans sa catégorie, c'est sans conteste l'un des meilleurs. Les chambres étaient propres et bien entretenues, et tous les appareils fonctionnaient correctement, ce qui a rendu le séjour confortable et sans souci. Son emplacement est également très pratique, puisqu'il se trouve à quelques pas de la Pryce Tower et des commerces environnants. À noter : l'hôtel ne dispose pas d'ascenseur. Si votre chambre est située dans les étages supérieurs, prévoyez donc de marcher un peu. L'hôtel ne propose pas de repas complets, mais du café et du pain sont offerts dans le hall. Heureusement, de nombreux restaurants et points de restauration se trouvent à proximité, il est donc très facile de trouver de quoi se restaurer.

IInvitéC'est la première fois que nous séjournons à l'hôtel Mandaya, mes enfants ont adoré ! L'endroit est très reposant, la nourriture est bonne et le séjour s'est très bien passé. Merci, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

IInvitéNous félicitons le Red Planet Davao de nous avoir permis d'arriver plus tôt, car notre vol était très matinal. Le personnel de la réception était très accueillant, serviable et facile d'approche. L'hôtel a des règles concernant le ménage et le changement des serviettes, mais compte tenu du prix de notre séjour de trois nuits, nous comprenons ces règles. La chambre était propre, la douche fonctionnait bien et la pression d'eau était bonne. Nous avons apprécié le sèche-cheveux fixé au mur près du miroir. Le lit et l'oreiller étaient confortables. En résumé, notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été une excellente expérience.

MMs. HayleyFrom the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help. 
We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests. 
One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. 
Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property. 
Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility. 
That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects. 
Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality.
In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. For those planning a trip to Davao, whether quick or extended, this hotel is a solid bet.

FFulgencio PolL'hôtel est propre, le personnel est serviable et poli, ils répondent à tous vos besoins. Il y a une supérette en bas avec du café et de la nourriture. Il se trouve à seulement 5 à 10 minutes à pied de l'aéroport international de Davao. Je recommande cet hôtel si vous avez un vol tôt ou tard.

IInvitéIt was a good stay overall. We had to look for somewhere to stay because of the travel time going home and the work. Although the rates are cheap, I just wish there was a direct email/phone number to contact the facility directly. We ended up having to pay extra for checking in an hour earlier because we couldn’t reach out to anyone regarding that matter. We were only checked in for 8 hours in total.

YYkhca_TravelsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process.
While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this place.
