SShaun400seU Khao Yai is absolutely wonderful!
The public areas of the hotel are very impressive, high vaulted ceilings and faux French decor, furnishings and nursery rhyme artwork and ornaments - which some might consider tacky but as it’s clearly designed and presented as nouveau, the hotel is offering a modern day take on a French country house / chateau, it does actually work.
Highlights for us was the garden view suite (72m2) after which we moved when we extended our stay for a third night to a lake view Deluxe (47m2) as our suite had been sold whilst we made up our minds to stay on! However, we actually preferred the lake view (218) as it offered a far more substantial balcony and a different aspect to the front of the hotel, overlooking the aforementioned lake, fountains, more wonderful gardens and the quite impressive residential houses opposite - and all of this for 700baht or so less a night than the suite.
The Papillon restaurant we used for 2 of our 3 nights - a fair selection of “Farang style” Thai food is offered but I personally couldn’t see much further than the fabulous selection of Australian steaks and burgers on offer! Wines by the glass are well priced but further enhanced by the “2 for 1 Happy Hour” between 5-6pm and at all other times “but 2 get 1 free” offer which actually makes buying wine by the glass over 7 glasses, a lot cheaper than buying by the bottle! The service in Papillon was perfect too - laid back, no rushing, a really stylish and welcoming dining experience with fabulously presented food and friendly and efficient waiting staff.
The impeccably clean pool area is beautiful too, looking out as it does on the fantastically well tended rear gardens and river although the sun-beds are in fairly short supply at peak use times and strangely there are no parasols on offer. We did also feel that a poolside drinks / snack service should be offered - we would definitely have used it during our morning by the pool which I would add is a very pleasant temperature and has spotlessly clean water.
We did use the Spa, having booked a couples 2 hour hot stone massage therapy session and we were both very, very impressed with the spa facility itself and even moreso with the two masseuses who were assigned to us - they are clearly experts in their professions and we came out literally walking on air.
Whilst we didn’t have any real lowlights, in order to improve the hotel (and perhaps to attain a 5 star rating from the current 4) I’d offer up the following as constructive criticism:-
1. Change out all your old and outdated in room TV’s. Hotel rooms nowadays simply must offer a Smart TV. We felt that this was a BIG miss and it urgently needs to be rectified as is not in keeping with 21st century hotel accommodation AV equipment standards.
2. Provide proper in room mini and snack bars.
3. The breakfast was borderline disappointing.
4. Be a little cautious of the U’s charging policy for food, beverages and importantly spa treatments. I say this as their (admittedly clearly stated) policy is to add 10% service charge plus 7% tax to these items of expenditure and to their room tariff when booked directly with them. The end result of this was that I booked my rooms (with breakfast included) through Trip.com at a better rate than U could offer and the policy made our two spa treatments menu’d at 2700 baht x 2 = 5400 baht a whopping 6318 baht.
All in all the U Khai Yai gave us a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience, far exceeding our initial expectations. We are both of the opinion that U Khai Yai’s gardens, lakes and waterfalls, are truly incredible achievements, making the hotel stand out from the regular crowd.
The staff should be rightly proud of their achievements in all areas of operation - take a bow Team U Khao Yai, you are going a truly awesome job!

DDaryltyhLe personnel de Muthi Maya a un service très bon et ils ont dépassé ma attente de me donner un gâteau comme c'était le anniversaire de mon partenaire. J'ai séjourné avec leur autre hôtel dans le groupe kirimaya, Atta, et ma expérience a été vraiment bon et agréable, donc choisi de rester à un autre de leur hôtel sœur. Cependant, Muthi Maya est très loin de la plupart des installations et les installations sont accessibles uniquement par leur service de transbordeur basé sur certaines heures ou par conduite. Pendant ce séjour, l'un de mes enfants a eu une réaction d'urgence médicale, une réaction allergique, un premier pour moi, et l'hôtel du groupe Kirimaya n'est pas l'hôtel que vous voulez rester lorsque vous êtes confronté à une urgence médicale. La réception de Muthi Maya n'a pas besoin de sac médical ou de sac médical. Deuxièmement, l'hôpital le plus proche est à au moins 30 km. Le tuyau respiratoire de mon enfant s'arrêtait et l'attente de l'ambulance n'était certainement pas une bonne idée. Alors, si vous restez ici, conduire est la meilleure façon d'arriver ici. Au-delà de cette énorme peur, parce que j'ai séjourné pendant leur période de «non-pico », le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel n'était pas le buffet habituel et c'était une énorme déception pour moi, je m'attendais à un bon petit déjeuner étant donné que j'ai séjourné à Atta avant et le Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon quand j'y suis resté. Une nuit à Muthi Maya coûtait deux fois plus que l'atta aussi, donc les hautes attentes. J'ai eu un visage, je réfléchirais à réserver ce groupe d'hôtel à l'avenir.

Very cozy, located beside a river, 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to Pak chong night market. 2 minutes walk to Banmay Chaynam michelin resto.
the room is very clean, have lots of flowers in the garden.
The owners are very kind.
They prepared breakfast earlier for us coz we need to go to the airport on the last day's stay.
We have porridge for breakfast, very delicious, big portion.
Reasonable price for both food and room.
Super recommended for budget traveller.

BBearyHKHad a 3d2n in this resort. The room itself was very big and we were amazed by the private pool, rooftop Terrance and the onsen. We were able to do the check in at the room itself. Their services provided were very good. You can also have your own bbq at the rooftop however you might really need to tell them you want have the bbq your own. If not they will helped you cooked the food and served to your room. The quality of the bbq food I would say was average only. Could have been better. I like that we can get to choose in room dinning for our breakfast and there’s quite a few options for the breakfast. As for the location wise, it was a very ulu place and some of the road leading to the place doesn’t have lamp post light and a lot of pit holes making it hard to drive in the dark. Have to take note of the parking place as you need to park on a down slope 😅. Other than that it was still a good experience staying there!

- Notre chambre était spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espaces utilisables, même si nous avons réservé le type de chambre le plus cher.
- Il y a beaucoup d'activités disponibles à l'intérieur de l'hôtel.
- L'hôtel est agréable pour les animaux de compagnie, ce que nous aimons absolument. ❤️😍
- En novembre, ils offrent un service « moo kata » (Thai BBQ) à partir de environ 5 h à l'avant dans le camping. La zone est propre et magnifiquement construite, avec une grande atmosphère et un service. La nourriture était délicieuse et hygiénique. Nous étions très impressionnés. ❤️
- Une chose que nous voudrions vraiment voir améliorée est la télévision en chambre. La télévision est trop vieille et il n'y a pas de télévision à Internet, de canaux câblés, ou de services de streaming en ligne disponibles. Nous ne pouvions regarder que quelques canaux locaux, qui étaient de faible qualité et très limités 😭

Eevelyn_pieWe had a lovely stay at Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai. The resort was very clean, well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome.
The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing with family, although it’s a bit far from main attractions. Overall, a great resort for families looking for comfort, good service, and a calm atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

UUtilisateur anonymeL'emplacement est proche de l'autoroute et agréable de conduire. Il est également équipé de climatisation pour chaque chambre. Mes enfants ont peur de dormir dans des tents avant d'arriver à cet endroit, mais mes enfants aiment rester dans la tente de cet endroit. Je recommande vraiment de rester dans cet endroit.

FFinaLyMa famille de 6 personnes est comme la seule famille là-bas. En fait, nous avons vu 3 autres groupes au petit-déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux et varié malgré le faible taux d'occupation. Les enfants sont allés nager dans leur piscine. Il y a aussi une salle de sport. Les 4 boissons gazeuses, 4 bières, 2 petites barres de chocolat Hershey et 2 petites friandises Princles chips étaient également disponibles.
