Hôtels près de Patinoire Yost, Ann Arbor

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night. We booked a romantic stay cation about 30 mins from our house. The room was smaller than we expected but the beds were pretty comfortable. The worst part about the room was the thermostat. I felt that it was not easy to control. We had the heat on and it would still turn on the ac. Our room did not hold in heat very well. The best part about the hotel room was the bathroom. The shower was huge with a seat. There were two mirrors with lights and Bluetooth you could pair to your phone to play music. We did not try it but we both thought that it was a cool feature. Unlike most hotels, the fitness center had cables and fancy workout bikes. The sauna was very relaxing. We did not go in the pool or hot tub because I did have to work for a couple hours on Saturday and we got in late on Friday. We relaxed in our hotel room after a gym and sauna session. After 4 PM on Friday and Saturday, it is hard to find parking that is close to the door. We had to park in the back far away from the entrance. My boyfriend was very annoyed by this and rated the hotel a two star because of it lol. I hope to try the pool and hot tub next time we go to this hotel. I also would like to try a pool view room maybe those are nicer. We will have to try the restaurant/bar next time too. Maybe if we come a weekday the parking situation will be better. Overall it was a pretty nice stay. I hope they update their thermostats to something nicer sooner than later.

Positive points: a very conveniently located, small hotel just next to university campus and several restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores etc. Ideal for short visits. It was quiet contrary to what other customers describe. The availability of free breakfast was welcome since it is not a usual amenity in US hotels. Negative points: the lack of a refrigerator! This is actually the first hotel in the last 40 years -that I can remember- without a refrigerator in the room. Also, we could not pull the curtains far enough to darken the room from daylight.  Overall: a good choice for short stays in Ann Arbor. To the manager: please buy refrigerators for the rooms!

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique ici. Le personnel était incroyable et même pendant une pandémie, le mariage était magnifique. Leah était incroyable et serviable. Vraiment apprécié Meg à la réception et le directeur général était prêt à nous aider avec n'importe quoi. Une telle bénédiction de trouver ce fabuleux hôtel pour le mariage et le dîner de répétition. Merci merci

La chambre et l'environnement sont bons. Il y a une chambre vide qui peut être séjournée à l'avance. Nous avons séjourné à midi et nous avons laissé notre bagage. Je trouve beaucoup de cheveux non clairs sur le lit avant de dormir la nuit. Aucun serveur ne peut traiter des choses similaires après 10 heures.

La chambre n'est pas bien éclairée même je tourne toutes les lumières dans la chambre. Il n'y a pas de chaudière électrique pour le refroidissement de l'eau de tap. Pas très approprié pour les gens qui n'ont pas eu l'habitude de boire de l'eau de tap froide. Seuls 2 bouteilles d'eau fournies par l'hôtel, peu importe le temps de séjour. Le personnel n'a pas rempli l'eau bouteilleuse. La location est très loin du centre, vous devez prendre un bus pour 30 minutes ou marcher 1 heure.

Location is great by having Plum Market just few steps away!! Going to Michigan Uni is so close. Fast check in and helpful too.
