City Hotel Isar-Residenz

This was a fantastic hotel. The location was great, just across the river from the old city. The service in the hotel was super. The front desk, Melina, was so helpful in so many ways to make us feel comfortable. She knew how to run a front desk at a hotel for sure! The breakfast was also very good. The room was spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again!

Great town, great hotel! Needed to pick up daughter at Munich airport and Freising was crazy $$. So happy we stayed in this gorgeous town, and the Isar City hotel did not disappoint. Large, modern clean rooms, totally updated bath, and fab breakfast; small concern for a four star hotel that no lotion or hair conditioner provided ( the one time I forgot to pack), but the welcome free coffee/tea and cakes provided in lounge make up for it! Two blocks to river- great running path and located right by Old Town!

My husband and I have just returned home to the USA from a wonderful stay at the remarkable hotel ISAR in Landshut. In years past we have always stayed in Freising but now Landshut, and in particular the staff at this hotel have completely stolen our hearts. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and in an ideal location however, what really makes it stand out is how welcoming and warm and helpful every single person working there was toward us. We were always greeted with a huge smile and friendly conversation and anything we asked about or needed was quickly taken care of. We left to explore another recommended town for a few nights but immediately regretted leaving the comfort and charm of this hotel and of Landshut. We really wished that we lived closer and could visit more often but despite the long travels we are already plotting how we can return very soon. It’s very rare that a hotel stay can be so absolutely perfect, but The Hotel ISAR was a 10/10 A very huge Thank you to each and every staff member at the hotel for making our stay so wonderful. Molto vicino al centro storico. Le stanze sono ampie, tranquille e molto comode e ben arredate . Il personale della reception molto gentile e accogliente. Ottima la colazione, con buona scelta. Peccato solo per il parcheggio gratuito con pochi posti

Schon zum dritten Mal in recht kurzer Zeit waren wir im Rahmen einer Urlaubsreise Gast im City Hotel Isar Residenz in Landshut. Das hat vor allem zwei Gründe: erstens Landshut ist als sehr schöner Urlaubsort perfekter Ausgangspunkt für abwechslungsreiche Tagesausflüge in der Umgebung und zweitens das Hotel Isar Residenz, das allein schon aufgrund seiner Lage nahe der Fußgängerzone (einmal über die Isar- Brücke und schon ist man im Zentrum) punkten kann. Direkt vor dem Hotel befinden sich einige Parkplätze (kostenlos), weitere im Innenhof sowie in der (kostenpflichtigen) hoteleigenen Tiefgarage. Das Hotel ist recht neu und das merkt man natürlich an allen Bereichen – seien es die Lobby, der Frühstücksraum oder auch die sehr schönen, bequemen, großen, sauberen und modernen Zimmer. Auch das Bad ist sehr geräumig und tadellos. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sowohl was Auswahl und Vielfalt als auch was Qualität betrifft sehr gut, das Personal stets aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Zum Abendessen gibt es zahlreiche unterschiedliche und sehr gute Restaurants in Fußnähe – für uns die bessere Alternative zu den im Hotel angebotenen (TK-)Pizzen. Für Landshut ist und bleibt das City Hotel Isar Residenz unsere erste Wahl und wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt dort.

Das Hotel liegt ideal ca. 100 m vom Eingang zur Altstadt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind freundlich ausgestattet und sehr groß. Auch das Bad ist groß mit einer Dusche und viel Ablagefläche. Alles funktioniert und die Minibar ist gut gefüllt. Dem Stil sieht man natürlich die 15 oder 20 Jahre an, die es das Hotel schon gibt und ein paar Kleinigkeiten, z.B. Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer für Kaffee oder Tee, könnte man noch überlegen. Zudem ging mein Zinmer auf die Straße raus, so dass es unter der Woche im Berufsverkehr vermutlich etwas laut wird. Der Service beim Einchecken, der auch die Bar mit versorgt, ist freundlich, allerdings nur bis 22.00 bzw. 21.00 am WE da. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was man erwartet, auch frisches Obst, Joghurt und Quark und Eier in verschiedenen Formen. Auch dort war der Service freundlich und aufmerksam.
