A luxury hotel we have visited before, and thus had great expectations on our return. Same with it's restaurant Vistamare. First the good: The hotel is a high standard place; the rooms, the terrace with magnifiicent sea view, the people in the reception. Service minded and professional staff. The breakfast is lovely, the people serving it are efficient, friendly and professional. The beach nice and well organized. Then the bad: It's hard to understand if this is one hotel and one restaurant, or a hotel with a restaurant. Anyway, the Bistro is almost everything the hotel isn't. Loud, arrogant, low quality and unprofessional. I have eaten Spaghetti alla vongole many places in Italy (and elsewhere), but never had anything as tasteless as this one. And the poke wasn't bad, but smoked salmon in a poke? And corn and carrots. Very boring and little taste. Arrogant head waiter, but a very nice, positive young man waiting on us saved the evening. Our experience made us cancel the "gourmet" booking. We didn't want to be disappointed again. And yes, the ugly: one of the waiters was loudly making fun of their guests, assuming we don't understand italian. We do. How is this behaviour possible, and no other staff reacted? Now the worst; a beautiful hotel with the room terrace of your dreams made completely unusable because of the "music" from the bar. Every day from early evening to late night. For fun, I checked on my DB app and it was almost 80db on our terrace at 11pm on a Sunday evening! It's sad to see such a nice place reduce itself to a common beach hotel you would expect in Ibiza. We really hope the management and owners take another look at the place and restores it to what it was and can be yet again
