Terrible Scruffy and facilities and accessibility to rooms not suitable for anyone over 30. Probably more suitable for students. Cheap and cheerful in dire need of a makeover to bring it from 70s Headingley Up to date. It would appear to be quite reasonably Priced until you arrive with a warm friendly welcome but others in the area much better

Absolutely disgusting hotel, filthy and unsafe! Obvious from entering the room that it was dirty except the bedding was crisp and white and so we though it's a bed for the night. It wasn't even that as the springs were sticking through so it was painful to lie on! Cobwebs on windows, smelly wardrobe and doors so didn't unpack. Toilet didn't flush so was extremely smelly and the whole room smelt. Make up on towels. Shower curtain was the peak of disgusting, mildew on shower curtain. Toilet seat was worn and needed replacing. The upper staircase, the steps were so short that they're unsafe especially when carrying luggage. Filthy carpet throughout.Checked out within an hour of trying to go to bed as we just couldn't lie in the he'd and the room was so noisy. Reviewing here and on my way to environmental health to report them.

Stayed here as it's ideal for the brudenell 20min walk even more ideal if you're going to the cricket plenty of free parking at the rear and space at front too. As I had booked months in advance I received a phone call the day before to make sure I was still coming a nice touch I thought, the girl on the reception Monica was very helpful and someone is on hand 24/7 if you have any problems. Ok the decor is a bit oldie worldie but the room was pleasant ensuite comfy bed hot drinks . The cooked breakfast is highly recommended too there's only so many times I can face thinly sliced bacon in spoons!!! So I highly recommend this place I'll be staying again next time I'm in that part of Leeds .

This is a less than budget hotel. Dated and very smelly. It was so bad we didn't stay. Left the keys on the bed and booked a room in a Premier Inn for less money. Felt uneasy and wouldn't have stayed there if we had been paid to! Awful, awful, awful.

I was a bit worried that it would be a bit like a hostel for the price (shared bathroom) but I couldn't have been more wrong. Our booked room wasn't ready on arrival so we were upgraded to a better room with an en-suite. Decor is quirky, a bit mismatched but I liked it. Bathroom very 70s but everything really clean. The bed was really REALLY comfy. We both had an excellent night's sleep. Considering the price of other hotels in Leeds for a Saturday night, I'd say this is an absolute bargain. The lady who greeted at reception could not have been more helpful. Really friendly and efficient too. This will now be our hotel of choice when we're next in Leeds.

I spent the weekend with my husband, sister in-law & bother in-law, the room was very dated and old fashioned, the walls were dirty as was the carpet, the furniture was old and rickety, the bed had lots of missing slats and rather uncomfortable. The bathroom where do I start, dark, dirty, broken floor tiles, cigarette burn marks on the bath, holes around the toilet, I have photos to back this up. This was £100 per night.

Dank, dirty, run down, noisy, mouldy, damp... And put us in a double when we book a twin. Felt like Burt and Ernie. But close to cricket ground and also the town. Breakfast was very low grade meat, but hit the spot after a bad night's sleep.

Bed very soft but comfy if you like very soft Good price for a night away and good location for Brudenell which was the reason for our visit Bathroom mouldy, didn't shower as i felt i would be cleaner not showering! Bathroom window painted shut, extractor not working, just a grim bathroom Generally grubby, peeling wallpaper, funny smell Must be better places to stay but maybe not at that price. Breakfast was decent but I was glad to get out of there
