Just WOW - whatever your occasion, these people will do you proud. First time stopping over - wont be our last :) Room was gorgeous and food was exceptional - with the evening entertainment made it a Birthday treat to remember. Highly recommend it.

We had a lovely evening. I have been here a few times and stayed previously for a wedding, this evening we were dining, myself and hubby. The food was delicious, we have a tapas stater, Scotch Egg followed by Gammon and eggs, hubby had the fish and chips. The menu choices are varied, there is no way you could not find something you would like here. Our waitress, dark hair, didn't ask her name was lovely, very smiley and professional. I would highly recommend dining here and if your planning your big day the wedding i attended was a fantastic occasion and don't forget they have an outdoor pool. Oh and the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc i can highly recommend. :-)

Gorgeous room, friendly staff, amazing customer service... A peaceful location with stunning views from the bedroom window. Love the fact that it is old school with actual keys for the doors! Very accommodating, extremely clean and well maintened... Highly recommended!!

Visited for Sunday Lunch in the Glen Watson Restaurant, which forms part of this lovely hotel. The restaurant was busy, which is always a good sigh. We received a warm welcome on arrival with the offer to have our coats taken, which was a nice gesture. A lovely lady, who was so friendly, showed us to our table. Our drinks order was taken, and we were left to consider our food choices from the menu. There was a really good selection of starters,plus a couple of specials. We chose the beef and the lamb Sunday Lunches. The food was beautifully presented, and the yorkshires we just amazing, as was the cauliflower cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the overall experience. Even though they were very busy, this was not detrimental to the efficient service that we received throughout the meal. We can highly recommend eating here and will look to return again soon.

A lovely birthday meal enjoyed here. Fabulous ambience, friendly service and great food. Can’t believe it took as so long to visit this little gem on our doorstep! Highly recommend and we are already looking forward to coming back here for some of their specials nights!

Just come back from the most relaxing stay in the field view room. Such a nice place. We had lunch when we arrived and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the food is amazing! The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help, especially the lady working on reception / front of house who also helped in the restaurant - she was just such a lovely person and made us feel extremely welcome. We ordered a variety of tapas and it was all amazing - I would recommend the pierogi, chorizo and chickpeas, spinach and ricotta cannelloni. The drinks were great too. We headed to the cute little bar area after lunch. All extremely reasonable prices for food and drink. They don’t over charge at all. We went to our accommodation and we were amazed at how big it was. Really spacious. The bathroom has heated floors which was a nice surprise. The bath is really large. The bedroom area is shut off with a curtain and I had the best night sleep I’ve had in a very long time. Bed is massive and really comfy. Tv in living area and bedroom. Living area very comfortable. Kitchen area spacious and had everything you need. Really big fridge freezer. Coffee machine (although didn’t use this as we aren’t coffee drinkers) but imagine it’s a nice touch for those who are. Nice glasses for Prosecco and wine. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Sooooo nice and relaxing and completely private. Beautiful views over the fields and sun loungers on the decking too. Free flip flops for use which were fantastic. Feel very lucky to have stayed here! £200 a night but well worth it. Check in and out couldn’t be easier. Gutted it’s over - really hope we are able to come back soon. The swimming pool area looked amazing, although as we visited in November obviously it wasn’t open. I bet it’s brilliant in summer. Outdoor shower and toilets area looks very nice!! I can imagine it being a brilliant place for a wedding and wedding guests would love it. The other rooms from what we could see looked great too. Really considering re-booking!! Had such a relaxing time. You can order room service from the restaurants full menu too. Only things I’d say to add would be a big light for the living area and the pizzas weren’t brilliant. Aside from that, everything was perfect! Thank you for having us. Lovely hotel in a nice setting, close to all amenities. We stayed overnight for a close friends birthday, the restaurant was fabulous, food was lovely, staff were very welcoming. Our room was overlooking the pool and gardens, nice, warm, cosy

We stayed in field view at nearly £250 for the night. It was OK, but we were a bit disappointed for the money we’d spent. The taps in the bath were loose and span around when being turned on, the plug the coffee machine was plugged into didn’t work. The tea / coffee offered was limited with no ‘normal tea’ available. The TV had poor signal / connection and the rooms were dark with no main light and the springs in the mattress could be felt when in the bed. We enjoyed the break overall, the food in the restaurant was great as was the service but we felt we’d paid over the odd for the standard of accommodation. I’d recommend the restaurant but not the field view room we stayed in.

Came for the night, was met at reception by Debbie who was so helpful and nice,shown us around and to our room which was excellant clean and fresh with lovely views, bed was so comfortable, the bar areas are brilliant and the food was very very good really enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast very filling and produce sourced locally, the service and welcome we received from the staff Debbie,Sharon, Amanda,Teigan, Skye and Abbie was absolutely outstanding so helpful and nice i can honestly say these Ladies made our stay the best they are a credit to the hotel and we will definately recommend and be coming to stay again 😁😁😁
