Nous voulions rester en ville une nuit avant notre vol le lendemain. Les dames de la réception sont adorables. Aucune chance d'utiliser la piscine car nous voulons juste nous détendre car nous venons de l'île de Gili. À distance de marche du centre commercial Mataram et de nombreux restaurants locaux à proximité. Le seul inconvénient est que notre chambre donne sur la route principale, donc on entend les voitures qui passent mais c'est quand même un hôtel recommandé. et merci pour le gâteau d'anniversaire :)

Mon conjoint et moi avons séjourné au Favehotel à Mataram près de la maison d'un ami. Bon hôtel avec très bon petit déjeuner. Très propre. L'emplacement nous convenait et nous avons visité le centre islamique à proximité. Café à côté pour les coffeeholics.

Nous avons réservé un bungalow vue sur mer 5 nuits, jolie chambre dans l’ensemble, jolie piscine. Personnel sympathique surtout réception ! Nous sommes arrivés un jeudi après-midi ! Il y a avait des groupes de locaux qui est resté jusqu’au dimanche environ 200 personnes avec un séminaire pour des locaux aussi , le petit-déjeuner était affreux digne d’une cantine scolaire avec un bruit qui était épouvantable, des personnes qui vous marchent dessus, qui passent devant sans aucunes excuses, le pire pour dormir très difficile avec le bruit qu’ils font et le soir l’hôtel leur réserve à côté de notre chambre le restaurant en plein air avec un micro ( vous imaginez !) cerise sur le gâteau le lendemain matin a 8h30 devant notre chambre à la piscine une personne avec un micro nous a réveillé car il animait le groupe alors monsieur le manager de l’hôtel un peu de respect pour des clients ont payé chère pour soit disant être tranquille. Pour finir on a essayé le salon de massage , masseuse pas très souriante et avec un massage Balinais qui était que de nom. On ne reviendra pas dommage .

Took a 2 hr 20 mins direct Scoot flight from Singapore and then a 1.5 hr car ride to the resort. Booked a car directly from resort and driver was waiting outside after exiting the airport with resort name. We booked the family suite which was the premier suite and the premier room combined, it had a connecting door. Room was huge but no bathtub in either rooms. Separate shower and toilet. There’s also a outdoor shower but I think it’s only for the ground floor units. Comes with safe deposit, kettle and fridge. No ironing board. Their laundry is rather reasonable price. Beds were very comfortable and their air conditioning is cold. We had a few power shut downs but it was resumed very quickly in less than 20 secs. Nice beach but not suitable for swimming as the waves were huge. They have nice pools and sun decks. They have 2 restaurants serving Italian, western and Indonesia food. The Italian restaurant ‘Kliff’ is a must try. Superb food and quality at reasonable prices. Book a table to watch the sunset with Bali island in view. Beautiful sunset. The resort have a spa and gym as well. Tried the spa, prices were very reasonable and cheaper than Bali. Booked their snorkelling trips to the Gili islands and it was awesome! Gili Nanggu was our fav. Will definitely come again, Lombok is more laid back and without the Bali crowds. Things were cheaper too. If you want a nice, relaxing, quiet and good prices, come to Lombok. If you prefer pubs, shopping and crowds, then go to Bali. There’s also public ferries connection between Bali and Lombok. It takes approx 2 hours. Most of them understand simple English and remembers our preference for coffee and how we like our eggs done.

Un des meilleurs hôtels de l'Océan à Lombok. Excellente présentation de nourriture. Valeur pour de l'argent. Marché nouveau hôtel avec les meilleurs services dans l'industrie. Chaque villa a une piscine et la vue est magnifique. Très confortable séjour. Reviendra à ce lieu dans un avenir proche.

I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

Ths is an unbelievably perfect resort, discreetly positioned a short distance from the most scenic and atmospheric Selang Belanak beach. The choice of varied private villas are top notch, we stayed in the Joey villa, it was like a tropical show home with a great sundeck pool and jacuzzi. The 2 bedrooms were cool and with well appointed outdoor bathrooms. The restaurant, bar and secluded sports bar were brilliant and only surpassed with great menu, top chef and the whole of the team that services this resort. Friendly, professional and always smiling, from the garden team, kitchen, front of house and restaurant staff we only wished we could stay for longer or be in a position to invest in one of the units plots available. The owner, Michael was a top man, humble in his development but friendly, professional and most knowledgeable of the area and always willing to share a laugh or solve a question. A fellow Leeds United fan, albeit fro Sydney thank you to you and your brilliant staff, you have a great place that surely will only go from strength to strength.
