Il y a aussi un gros inconvénient. me lever tôt peut l'ignorer. C'est qu'à partir de quatre heures, il y a Une mosquée 🕌️ a commencé à chanter, et le grand lama semblait être juste à la fenêtre. Je n'ai pas pu dormir à cause de l'excitation. .

Nous voulions rester en ville une nuit avant notre vol le lendemain. Les dames de la réception sont adorables. Aucune chance d'utiliser la piscine car nous voulons juste nous détendre car nous venons de l'île de Gili. À distance de marche du centre commercial Mataram et de nombreux restaurants locaux à proximité. Le seul inconvénient est que notre chambre donne sur la route principale, donc on entend les voitures qui passent mais c'est quand même un hôtel recommandé. et merci pour le gâteau d'anniversaire :)

Je suis arrivé le soir et le personnel était très sympathique. L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier animé de Senggigi. Il y a des supermarchés à proximité pour répondre aux besoins quotidiens. L'environnement naturel de l'hôtel est confortable, mais il y a beaucoup de déchets. sur la plage. On a du mal à aller à la mer. Les équipements matériels dans la chambre sont relativement anciens mais le prix est tout simplement abordable. Il y a tellement de moustiques et les moustiquaires électriques de l'hôtel ne sont pas faciles à utiliser. Pouvez-vous croire qu'il y a 30 sacs en une nuit ?

Nous avons réservé un bungalow vue sur mer 5 nuits, jolie chambre dans l’ensemble, jolie piscine. Personnel sympathique surtout réception ! Nous sommes arrivés un jeudi après-midi ! Il y a avait des groupes de locaux qui est resté jusqu’au dimanche environ 200 personnes avec un séminaire pour des locaux aussi , le petit-déjeuner était affreux digne d’une cantine scolaire avec un bruit qui était épouvantable, des personnes qui vous marchent dessus, qui passent devant sans aucunes excuses, le pire pour dormir très difficile avec le bruit qu’ils font et le soir l’hôtel leur réserve à côté de notre chambre le restaurant en plein air avec un micro ( vous imaginez !) cerise sur le gâteau le lendemain matin a 8h30 devant notre chambre à la piscine une personne avec un micro nous a réveillé car il animait le groupe alors monsieur le manager de l’hôtel un peu de respect pour des clients ont payé chère pour soit disant être tranquille. Pour finir on a essayé le salon de massage , masseuse pas très souriante et avec un massage Balinais qui était que de nom. On ne reviendra pas dommage .

Took a 2 hr 20 mins direct Scoot flight from Singapore and then a 1.5 hr car ride to the resort. Booked a car directly from resort and driver was waiting outside after exiting the airport with resort name. We booked the family suite which was the premier suite and the premier room combined, it had a connecting door. Room was huge but no bathtub in either rooms. Separate shower and toilet. There’s also a outdoor shower but I think it’s only for the ground floor units. Comes with safe deposit, kettle and fridge. No ironing board. Their laundry is rather reasonable price. Beds were very comfortable and their air conditioning is cold. We had a few power shut downs but it was resumed very quickly in less than 20 secs. Nice beach but not suitable for swimming as the waves were huge. They have nice pools and sun decks. They have 2 restaurants serving Italian, western and Indonesia food. The Italian restaurant ‘Kliff’ is a must try. Superb food and quality at reasonable prices. Book a table to watch the sunset with Bali island in view. Beautiful sunset. The resort have a spa and gym as well. Tried the spa, prices were very reasonable and cheaper than Bali. Booked their snorkelling trips to the Gili islands and it was awesome! Gili Nanggu was our fav. Will definitely come again, Lombok is more laid back and without the Bali crowds. Things were cheaper too. If you want a nice, relaxing, quiet and good prices, come to Lombok. If you prefer pubs, shopping and crowds, then go to Bali. There’s also public ferries connection between Bali and Lombok. It takes approx 2 hours. Most of them understand simple English and remembers our preference for coffee and how we like our eggs done.

I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

Pros: friendly staff, quiet resort. Cons: old and run down. Kids club was a joke. Duplo pieces were dirty and dusty. Basically it was set up by the pool as they are redoing their old space so the only toys they had were dirty and broken. Nothing was really organized. Son was excited for water gun games and the water guns were all broken. Scavenger hunt entailed handing beige Easter eggs within the small surrounding by the pool. Very disappointed. Food was overpriced and bad. Drinks also overpriced. We learned this when we hired a car to a nice resort and beach 20 minutes away and discovered the food was delicious, price was 1/3 of this one and the sand and beach there was much better. It’s an old run down hotel. We say it’s quiet but really there wasn’t many people there. The staff were friendly and helpful.
