I was dreading this because the hotel has a bit of a reputation for not canceling reservations, especially if they are not paid in advance. We didnt have this problem. We were a bit early and checked in our bags and went sighhtseeing.The location was conveniently close to Paddington station and a "big bus" tour stop near by. There were also convenience stores near by and grocery stores at Paddington. My son and I enjoyed the room, though it was a bit small. It was in the building across from the Grand Paddington though the hotels share the Lobby and check in desk. We didnt really need to use any parking, breakfast or room service, so can't comment. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was really nice. The view was acceptable. The microwave, mini refrigerator and electric kettle were a big plus. The bathroom was clean and met our needs. The airconditioning worked well. The room had a wroking TV and safe, so it met all our needs.

I have stayed at two other hotels in this location and hadn't enjoyed them, so I had trepidation about this one. Third time lucky. It was excellent for the solo traveller. Plenty of room, great facilities. I knew the location was going to be brilliant. I can't comment what it would be like for two of us, but it was perfectly adequate for my needs on this occasion.

I’m not one to usually complain but as a house keeper for a 4 star hotel myself I know it is not that hard especially for such a small room On the website it states ‘great care goes into our rooms’ and yet there was no protector on the bed, the sheet was too small so it just end up completely off, the bottom of the shower was dirty and there was suppose to be sanitary bags in the bathroom and they were empty. Then even though we were departing this morning we had people come knock on our door at 8:30 saying room service. Considering check out was at 12 I don’t really think that’s okay I personally will not be returning

Dreadful hotel, didn't even get to stay there. They cancelled our room as we were driving to them on the day and sold it to someone else. Probably a walk in who paid more! I had booked my room in feb'22 and even spoke to the hotel the day before to confirm it was all ok still and asked about parking, all was fine and they said "see you tomorrow"......on the day received a email to say room was cancelled. No phone call nothing. I called up and spent over 30minutes trying to find out why and why they didnt contact me and get my room back. They resold my room, then didn't have another room for me, then told me they had a sister hotel that did have a room for £460.00...my room was £139.60......poor communication, very poor customer service. They didn't give a monkeys that i was now in London room less.

We were up in the rafters in a tiny, hot and stufffy room. We had an ironing board but no iron. Tea facilities are random at best. Bathroom is very VERY small, it was a squeeze to get to the sink between the shower screen and wall. Probably around 18 inches (45cm) wide at the most... We booked two rooms and the staff completely seperated us in properties across the street until we complained, at this point they did their best to get us closer together. The hotel will store your luggage for you so you don't need to drag it around on arrival or departure. The stairs to the higher rooms aren't serviced by lifts so if you are unsteady I'd suggest you let them know when you dook, it's pretty step and narrow after the second floor. For value I guess we couldn't complain, 230 for a room for two nights but I think if you book in advance there will be better options out there. FYI we were there for Ride London so had bikes which we neede to take to the rooms, the hotel allowed this but were unable to facilitate storage after the event.

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service of this place. Booked my room over 3 months in advance for my partner’s birthday and I arrived to the hotel after travelling 4 hours to be told they have cancelled my reservation without informing me and without any reason. The receptionist was extremely rude and very unbothered by the situation and didn’t even attempt to help me. I was just told “there is nothing I can do” and was pushed to the side so she could speak to other people. Me and my partner then had to get the train home as there was no other hotels available at such short notice. I am still waiting a call back from the manager after waiting 5 days and still haven’t heard anything or even had a refund. Been calling everyday and no one answers the phone as there mail box is full so can’t even leave a message. I would never recommend this place to anyone absolutely ruined mine and my partners weekend.

We received an email after a 3 hours journey to London and literally stepping off the tube to say they had to move us to a different hotel & we could cancel and receive a refund - where on earth can you get a reasonable priced hotel in London booking that late in the day. I’ll also point out this is after they took £110 from my account for pre authorisation charge which isn’t explained in the booking site. We searched in the middle of the street for an alternative hotel but had no choice to go to the one they had moved us too. On check in I then had to pay the full amount, even though I explained £110 had left my account & I was told this would be refunded on check out….what the hell is all that about??? Surely that’s should be offset from the bill on arrival? I am also still waiting for the authorisation to be added back into my account. Don’t book here, yes they moved us but the whole pre authorisation is a rip off.

Arrived at the hotel to find out it was closed due to ‘maintenance’. Called the number given on the notice, no answer. Me and my friend were standing with our suitcases for about 30mins trying to get a hold of them, nothing. Thankfully a couple walked past us and explained that we had to go and check in at another hotel 2 blocks down. Got to the hotel for them to say that our booking has been transferred to another hotel. Tbh all of this could’ve been avoided if they at least messaged me explaining the situation.

This is a scam. The hotel was closed when we arrived and judging by the feedback of other travellers has been closed down for at least a month. There was a note on the door directing travellers to the hotel across the road. The hotel across the road was also closed due to “unforeseen maintenance issue”. As a result we were left standing in front of the building, with our luggage trying to get through the automated phone service to the “central reservations team” . We finally did and were moved to another hotel but as a result lost the entire evening being moved from one hotel to another 3 times. Avoid!
