The facility is in a beautiful setting, the buffet was delicious and staff are extremely friendly. The conference area was bright and the view was enjoyable, I would recommend this facility for anyone holding a wedding or a conference. It was a great experience.

My husband and I went for a quiet night away. It was just what we were looking for. The hotel was clean and comfortable with many stunning views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Oak & Oar restaurant and spent the evening listening to live music played in one of their many cozy common areas, it was like sitting in our own living room with family. The grounds, although a little grey looking considering it was March, were still beautiful and I can't wait to go back and experience them during the warmer weather when everything is in bloom.

Came here for a IWD Summit and was very pleased. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are fantastic, and the food is fresh. The beds were huge and so comfy, the linens were fresh, and the rooms were gorgeous. I really enjoyed my two night stay. I hope to return soon.

I attended a recent conference at the Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre. The staff made me feel like I was part of the family. Everyone went out of their way to address my needs. One of the restaurant staff, Lucy, recognized me and went out of her way to welcome me. The rooms are very comfortable, the food was excellent and my entire stay was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasurable trip or conference. Patricia Watson

Oak Island had never disappointed me. Friendly staff always ready to accommodate you with any issues you may have. I highly recommend this resort for whatever your getaway may be there something for everyone whether it be business,leisure or just sitting on the deck taking in the view for some R&R.

Love it .but breakfast was so costly and there it was oak island I am from that area liverpool the tea was over 7 dollars for 2 .but all and all it was a experience that most people will never have a chance to stay there we will dtsy three again .but no more 50.00 breakfasts for 2

Growing up in the area I know the hotel . It may be ok for a night or two but I stayed there for 19 nights while visiting family and its not great. House keeping needs to improve. All the while we were there our counter was not cleaned once, cleaning supplies left in the room and some days the bathroom was not fully cleaned. No face clothes or toilet paper. The floor was only cleaned every few days. I complained and was told it would be forwarded on to the top. On check out complained again, given a card to call the head person and was told it was one of there best cleaners cleaning the room and they would see if they could adjust my bill but got nothing in return. Not a place to stay for long term.

We stayed here for our girls weekend and what a beautiful place!! The rooms are decorated beautifully and very clean. The staff was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The breakfast in oak and oar was delicious. We went to the live entertainment on Friday night and had a blast!! Beautiful views from our room. The fitness center was clean with lots of equipment. Will definitely be beck. This was my second visit and highly recommend this resort. I will be back!

My husband and I came to NS from Ontario to celebrate our 40th birthdays. This was the last night of our 3 nights in NS. My husband was a fan of the Oak Island show so I thought it would be fun to stay here. We also wanted to see Peggy's cove so it was nice and close to that. We loved our room with a view of the marina, Oak Island and the pools and hot tub. We had some pre drinks at the bar and then a wonderful quiet dinner at the restaurant. Very nice waitress who we chatted to about Oak Island, loved hearing a locals point of view on the topic! There was some live music happening in the bar and we sat and had a drink there and then had a nice relaxing soak in the hot tub. We woke up to the sunrise over the marina, brisk and quiet sitting out on the balcony. Breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful! Got to try a traditional east coast breakfast with beautiful sunrise, loved the view with all the windows ＜3. Got in a quick swim before check out and it was surprisingly warm and bright with all the windows. After checking out we drove to Peggy's cove which was only an hour away. Overall we had the perfect stay, complete with souvenir mug to remember the great time we had here!!
