Sonder Santa Ana

Perfect location right in the heart of Madrid. You have everything you need at your doorstep. The property is in an old beautiful building but has been recently renovated. The beds are among the most comfortable ones I ever slept in and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Recommend.

Staying at sonder Santa Atana was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was spot-on, close to everything cool in Madrid. Plus, the old-fashioned design? Loved it! Gave the place such a cool vibe. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a great time in the city!

Overall a positive experience. Positives: Great communication through sonder app and WhatsApp before check in. Storage lockers for early arrivals Location close walking distance to the main attractions Metro stations(Sol & Sevilla) 5 mins walk. Atocha train station about 20 mins on foot. So many great restaurants nearby, our favorites Pampa Beef, Bar Baografo (for breakfast) El Chaparrito (6 tacos for €12🌮) Carrefour Xpress grocery next door, super convenient, there is also a larger Carrefour and a Lidl about 10 mins away by foot. Great air conditioning in room Ample kitchen with all the basics Washing machine (only a rack for drying, but it works well, we put ours next to the outer window when we left for the day, the afternoon sun did the rest) Super quiet if you properly shut the outer window, the glass doors, the solid wood shutters and the curtains. We were on floor 4 facing the street and it was like a tomb, did not hear any of the revelers who are out there till 6 am everyday. Bed very comfortable ( ask for 2 extra pillows on the app and they will be delivered in short time) A few negatives: Elevator broken for 3 days (there is only one, so if you absolutely need an elevator maybe a large hotel would work better for you. Fire alarm at 7am and no staff on site to deal with it, had to wait 30 minutes for the police to arrive to shut it off. No cups for the water dispenser in the lobby, after trudging our suitcases via 2 different subways from the airport we could have used a drink but there were no cups, luckily the Carrefour Xpress next door.

Spent 4 nights over Easter weekend in Madrid and stayed for the first time in such place. Overall it has been a very positive experience and pity I haven't discovered this concept earlier. Will definitely consider Sonder or similar in other cities. What we loved: - Very central location, all major attractions are within 10-15 minutes of easy walking - A minimarket, plenty of good restaurants and bars within literally few steps - Nearest metro station (Sol) is also just two blocks away - Spacious apartment (#206, 1-bedroom), worked perfectly for three of us (parents with a teen). Very clean - Nice mobile app + Whatsapp channel with staff. We actually never meet a staff member, everything was managed through these two channels. Checkin might be somewhat cumbersome for the first time, but it works nicely - Nespresso machine - yes, a small thing that makes a difference. Kitchenette is pretty well equipped but we did not have a chance to use - I saw many reviews saying that the environment is noisy but our apt was pretty quiet, despite the very intensive nightlife around. What we loved less (nothing is really severe, just makes the difference between "good" and "perfect"): - No safe box in the room - All apartment's windows faced the neighbor building's walls. No view and almost no flow of fresh air - Flood of emails and messages, every message repeated numerous times

The bed was gorgeous and the location was without words. The location couldn’t be better, you have everything around just 1 minute's walking. Good coffee, tapas, tourism attractions, bars, disco, supermarket, 2 undergrounds etc. You should discover by yourself and always with Sonder, the best choice around the world!

The apartment was well positioned close to all the amenities we wanted. It was clean and well furnished. We would probably have rated it excellent but our stay was completely ruined by the noise coming from La Reserva Club across the road. Never have we endured sleep depravation like it. The row started about midnight and went on until 5:45am. It was from the club and spilled out on to the street below. We suffered this for two nights and were pleased to leave in the end. We will not return. The managent need to do something about this with the authorities or it is likely to kill their properties business.

Oggi, purtroppo, è l’ultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno, ma siamo sicuri che ci ritorneremo dinuovo a madrid ma soprattutto in questa magnifica struttura. Non so da dove iniziare: una camera stupenda, grande, con tutti i comfort, un bel letto matrimoniale comodissimo, un angolo cottura con tutto ciò che può servire, addirittura si trova una lavatrice ed un forno a micronde. Un bagno molto comodo con una cabina doccia grande. Una note importantissima va anche alla pulizia: abbiamo trovato una pulizia impeccabile. Inoltre il personale sempre disponibilissimo su qualsiasi informazione e pronto ad aiutarti. Insomma ci ritorneremo sicuramente qui. Grazie di tutto siete davvero il top!
