Good location, very nice and beautiful place, we have so much fun to stay only one night

This was a surprise. We have stayed at a few parks around Lake Macquarie and they have generally been disappointing. This was excellent. Modern, clean amenities, good sized sites and the basics dome well. Staff were super helpful on our departure day when a dead battery delayed us by three hours.

We stayed in the Boatshed, beside the lake with an amazing view from the deck. The accommodation was larger then expected and immaculate. I have to add a big shout out for the reception staff, both welcoming and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and hope to bring our grandchildren with us next time.

We had the pleasure of staying a total of four nights in a studio cabin and had an awesome time. Park facilities are great there’s everything you need in a huge gated area (what else do parents need!) a clean well maintained swimming pool, huge jumping pad for the kids, bbq & common kitchen area for all to use. Pedal bikes to hire from reception was also a great experience for the kids and adults alike. We really enjoyed every aspect of this holiday. We’re so glad we chose to book here. Everyone was lovely to get to know guests at the park as well as the locals when we went fishing and a little beach trips. Definitely would recommend this place especially with kids. Also definitely coming back! Thanks guys.

Absolutely magical setting for this park. Lake, boats, ducks, swans, kookaburras all on show. We had a waterfront villa which was very comfortable. Verandah/deck was great to sit on to watch the world go by. Our own bbq added to the ease of staying here. Water pressure & shower excellent with separate toilet. Management provided a great list of nearby shops etc, which was a first & really handy. Caravan sites looked easy to park. If traveling this way again we would certainly stop here.

Truly magnificent views from waterfront cabins. We stayed four (4) nights. It should have been 44 nights. We had a 6 berth, 2 bedroom cabin with lake views facing the East for sunrise each morning. It was somewhat soothing and peaceful. Cabins were excellent. Because we were on the water, the aircon was not required frequently. Looking forward to going back, but in off peak season. Prices are very high in peak season.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ingenia Lake Macquarie. Our cabin was clean and tidy with a spacious lounge area. We found the park to be quiet at night which is very important. Overall happy with our stay and will visit again.

On Saturday night, a drunken, loud party of guests from cabins continued until 1am. There was no manager or security on site. One of the cleaners came from a nearby home after we called at midnight. Our site was adjacent to a dreadful site which was not mowed etc on the Friday morning when we arrived. It remained that way until we left two days later. The amenities were a fair hike and there was mould all over the ceilings. When we booked, we were told that there was only one powered site left. Over the two days that we stayed, we asked to be moved to a grass site in the better part of the park if a cancellation occurred. Despite SIX vacant sites during our stay we were told that there were none available. As a Big 4 member, I was appalled about our site, the ammenities and the dodgy site that we were allocated. We had wrongly assumed that the manager would contact us regarding our valid complaints - but no. It was one of our worst experiences in two years of travel.

What a beautiful spot! We stayed in a water front villa and the villa was great for a family. Water front villa had a bath which was super handy with a toddler. Fully equipped kitchen. Staff were very friendly. Ashley on reception was so helpful and friendly. Our toddler loved the jumping pillow & play ground. We really enjoyed our stay. Would like to visit again soon.
