Kaya Ninova Hotel

We had the most beautiful room and the view was splendid. Korcer, the staff was very friendly. Many small shops around the hotel sells marvelous souvenirs. We will definitely recommend. On the other hand, English speaking staff would be helpful.

I feel bad giving a 1 star rating as the hotel itself is lovely and the location is excellent and terrible at the same time. Excellent because it central to everything in the old city and terrible because unfortunately, there is a rooftop bar exactly opposite playing extremely loud music EVERY night until 1:30am! It’s very noisy even during the day (because the hotel is on the main road) there’re lots of honking cars and shouting. We did not sleep for the 3 nights we were there. The breakfast was adequate, our room was cleaned daily, the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located at the heart of the old Mardin city center, located on a sharp hill town. The stone-built hotel reflects the historical heritage of the city. It is walking distance to the archeological museum (must-see) and the historical shopping district. The rooms and the facilities are generally very good, the breakfast and the food served at the roof-top of the hotel are above average (could be better considering the rich cuisine of the region). We plan to visit Mardin again and look forward to stay in this hotel again.

Im staying here for 3night..and today is the last night..let me start with +ve things..the location very central ..the view from the cafe terrace is amazing…the room is spacious.. However, There is renovation is going on in front of the hotel..so we have to walk with the mud stuck on the shoes.. Im staying here with my big family….Unfortunately there is a short circuit happened in one of my family member room..the technician asked us to pay in order to fix the problem…we disagreed as it is our 2nd night…they blamed us…so we went to the reception to explain…and finally the girl (staff) say ok..then they will give new room Without any additional cost..then we agreed and we went out to explore mardin old city…after 4 hours we came back and then.the same girls say different thing which no room available And we have to wait for the room to be fixed…the problem is the baby was crying and she asked to wait inside one of the other family member..which is nonsense ..the situation become heated and at the some point one of my family member say something about to call police..then they agree to give a new room… . Im so frustated of the staff handle this situation…. . ..they cant speak english very welll ..and they use google translate as a medium of conversation..which is so difficult when something happened. . We also got problem with payment..when they say they will charge me in lira..but with higher USD conversion..i say you did not have to bother abt the conversion as my bank will handle it..but they say no…eventually i have to pay cash some in euro and some in lira…

Mardin’de tarihi eski şehirde güzel ve huzurlu bir otel. Odaları konforluydu. Resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar çok yardımcı. Teras katında verilen kahvaltı hem çeşit olarak iyi ve lezzetli. Otelde 2 gece 20 kişilik grup kaldık ve merkezi olması iyidi. Eski mardini gezip görmek için iyidi. Sabah kahvaltısı dışımda yemek öğlen veya akşam servisi yok. Dışarda yakın çevredeki lokantalarda iyi yerel yemekler var. Otelin girişi ana caddeden yok ve hemen arka dar sokaktan giriyorsunuz. Manzaralı odaları cadde tarafına bakıyor., diğer ofalar ise arkaya bakanlar daha karanlık ama sessiz oluyor. 2 gece için bize yeterli geldi.

Mardin’e gidince konaklamayi eski Mardin’de yapmak o dokuyu doya doya yasamak için en ideali. Kaya Ninova otelde bence en ideali. Konum olarak ana caddede ,cafesinde oturup caddedeki o canliligi keyifle seyredebiliyorsunuz. Her yere yürüme mesafesinde. Hizmetten memnun kaldik. Kahvaltisi yeterli,manzara eşliginde yapilmasi da ayri bir avantaj. Tekrar gitsen tercihim yine orasi olur.
