Inn Shepard's Park

My Wife and I spent a wonderful weekend get away at the Inn Shepard's Park B&B. The location was very close to all the waterfront activities. The room was tremendous and the breakfasts were to die for. Even better than all I have mentioned is the friendly hospitality we received from Marilyn the owner. She was the best. We have already told many of our friends not to miss this wonderful place as they travel the Florida coast. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Fred and Joyce

Clean and comfortable, as well as extremely welcoming. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of historic Stuart's restaurants and shops as well as a supermarket in the opposite direction. We loved the boardwalk along the water, the sunsets at the marina and the comfortable front porch. Also, on our first day the shower head broke, and it was replaced within an hour of our letting Marilyn know. If your lucky you'll get to meet Leonard. A very handsome, well mannered pooch who we didn't even realize was there until our second day. We didn't want to leave.

We stayed five nights at the Inn Shepard's Park. The Rose and Romance room was charming. The rest of the inn had a lot of inside and outside space where you could sit and read a book or have a cup of coffee. The innkeeper was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. We had a wide variety of dishes, from delicious egg dishes to fresh blueberry pancakes. The location was very convenient, but in a quiet neighborhood. It was within walking distance of Stuart and close to Hwy 1. We will stay again on future trips to Florida.

Our stop in Stuart at Inn Shephards Park more than met our expectations. Marilyn was great to offer advice on where to see the sunset, the easy walk to downtown, and suggestions on what to see in the area. The wrap around screened porch was a perfect place for breakfast. The egg and ham soufflé was tasty along with the fruit and muffin. The room was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely perfect , comfortable, safe, clean and cozy place. Excellent location to easily walk to downtown Stuart and the Lyric theater which was our goal. Breakfast was a hot and delicious treat and Marilyn and Oliver were delightful and gracious hosts. I could have happily lived on the porch and just listened to birds all day. Easy access to super close restaurants. During the day we heard the cozy sound of the train going through town but after 10 pm there was no train whistle to disturb our slumbering.We will definitely be returning.

adorable and quaint. marilyn is charming warm and friendly. it was a nice overnite. we stayed in the perriwinkle room. we weee alone in the house no other rooms occupied so was really nice. breakfast was lovely enjoyable stay for a nite or two spent time in the river walk downtown area. nice vibe

Awesome 60th wedding anniversary at Inn Shepherd Park. Our lovely Old Florida room was spotless, pretty and comfortable. Marilyn, our innkeeper, was charming and gracious. Enjoyed her special breakfast’s and personal stories. Stuart is a best kept secret. We definitely plan on returning in December for all the Chris**as lights and fun. David and Winnie

This B&B was the perfect place to stay for a much needed tranquil & romantic get-away for my husband and I. From the reservations to our check-out and all in between, everything was perfect. We truly felt at home. Marylin, the owner, went out of her way to ensure communication was always available. Everything was neat and clean. Our suite, The Periwinkle Room was just perfect with its white wicker furniture and a charming net canopy over the queen size bed. The home's decorations are picturesque and maybe it was because we had the house all to ourselves, but it was a truly wonderful experience through and through. Our walk from the B&B to town, down the boardwalk, alongside the water, was only about 15 minutes, and there was quite a bit of a selection of restaurants and quaint shops in this perfect sleepy town. If peace and romance is what you're desiring, we highly recommend staying at Inn at Shepard's Park bed & breakfast.

This cute little B&B in Stuart, Fl was a big disappoin**ent, not for the property itself, but for its Management. We had booked and paid for two nights, by decided to leave after the first morning. The shower was lukewarm at best, and the “ hi-tech” coffee maker was confusing to say the least. The owner was kind enough to point out rather bluntly that I ‘should read the instructions on the wall”! Be very careful when booking your reservation. The process is somewhat confusing and ambiguous. We’ve stayed in B&Bs for over 45 years and love the experience. That said, we’ve never been as disappointed as with this one. Never have we had to select “Breakfast or No Breakfast” when booking a reservation.so, as we were about to head downstairs, we were informed via a rather curt voicemail that we had (apparently and unknowingly) selected the “No Breakfast” option; therefore there was no breakfast for us. As an aside, it has been our experience that a B&B means a bed and a breakfast, so be careful when you book. If we just wanted a “B”, we’d have gone to a hotel. At 8:45 AM, we searched in vain for someone with whom we could discuss these matters, and not finding anyone (which is rather unusual at a B&B, especially at the breakfast hour, we finally just packed up and left. This entire situation could have easily been avoided. We never even got a call as to why we left a day early. The owner might consider taking a refresher course in Customer Relationship Management. We shall return to Stuart as we love this little town, but The Shepherd’s Park Inn will not be on our itinerary.
