I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in San Angelo, Texas. They came to my rescue after leaving a bug infested hotel called The Roadway Inn. The staff, service and accommodations were extremely excellent. No bugs, clean and neat. I will only stay at this hotel chain in the future. Brea, Ruben and Elizabeth were amazing!!! Thank you so much for making my trip to my grandsons graduation a pleasant one.

MY entire stay was great. Nice clean rooms and extremely friendly front office staff. Clarisa was very accommodating. She went above and beyond her duties. She recommended several restaurants and places to visit while our stay in McAllen. Hats off to clarisa!!!

All the staff were very friendly. Cleaning crew were very respectful and responsible. I loved the decor and hotel room features; kitchen with electric stove, good size fridge, clean floor to walk barefoot on, high ceilings that made the room feel more spacious, etc. The view was not bad either, at least not for me. I was on the fifth floor and was able to see everything from my window. The outdoor pool was always a nice warm temp even when it was windy outside. Unfortunately, I think something was up with the hot tub heating element because it was not warming up. However, overall. We loved the freedom! It felt like an upscale condo!

The staff was fairly rude to my family while being there. We were there for an event, and the front reception was very rude and demanded everyone to leave at once right when the party ended. We were just cleaning up and people were saying goodbyes and she kept pestering people to leave the room. The restaurant/breakfast area in the morning was a mess, they did not have any decaf, coffee or orange juice left at 9 AM. When I asked the service person there she rudely responded that there wasn’t going to be any more. Will have to think extremely hard about staying here again with many other options around the area. So sad that this is typical service for the Rio Grande Valley.

Extremely disrespectful. Terribly uninformed. And the worst part is the GM made things worse not better. Never again will I visit this place. And I would recommend that wyndham remove their name from anything associated with this place.

The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. I am in the area quite a bit for work and will exclusively stay at this hotel. They are always very happy to help in any way. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Hotel was beautiful and all the staff was great and very helpful would definitely recommend it. Was here to Purchase a Truck from Dura Trucks and they told me about this hotel and it was a great experience.

Because the hotel doesn’t have the usual frontage road accessible, it is a challenge to find, but worth the effort. The room had a unique design with kitchenette which we didn’t use. The variety served at breakfast was delightful and good. We asked for a handicapped room with shower seat. On arrival, we found our room had no show chair, and no ADA approved grab bars. The staff did produced a shower chair the next day.

I stayed at this hotel for two months and don’t regret it all. The breakfast was great. The service I got from Silvia was amazing! I don’t know if she’s a manager or not, but she cares about her guest! The kitchenette was useful and just the right size. I didn’t utilize housekeeping as I like to keep my privacy. The staff members were usually pretty helpful. The only complaint I have is the WiFi wasn’t the greatest. I don’t know if it was my phone or where I was at in my room, but it wasn’t always fast enough or working very well. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend to anyone staying for an extended amount of time. If you get the chance to work with Silvia, you will be very pleased!
