Hôtels près de Bass Pro Shops, Memphis

There was quite a bit of construction going on at the hotel that we were not warned about ahead of time, so construction debris was abundant inside and outside the hotel. There was a gentleman living in his car outside of the hotel, accompanied by a significant homeless population. There was a cockroach that crawled across the bed the morning that we woke up. Several of the advertised amenities were not available the morning that we were there, including breakfast and the pool, and the elevator to the fourth floor did not work, so we had to take an alternate elevator at the office at end of the hotel. There was no hot water available coming from the shower fixture. There were cars revving up their engines extremely loud in close proximity to the hotel until about 12 AM, which affected our sleep. I would have given my satisfaction rating a zero, but I was at least able to get about six hours of sleep, so I recognise that the experience could have been worse. We had booked for two nights, but decided to check out after the first night, because I was unwilling to pay for these conditions.

I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel. I don't know how they are able to fly a Hampton flag and pass inspection. It's more like a Motel 6. We arrived at 1:30am and without even being asked our name or confirmation number, the front desk agent said since it was after midnight that our reservations were cancelled and we would have to try and rebook online and we wouldn't be guaranteed the same rates, etc. This was not what I wanted to hear after being on an airplane all day. I told her she didn't know what she was talking about and she kept arguing with me. I said here is my confirmation number and then she was like, ”Oh, I see, you already checked in on-line so you are good to go!” um yes, this is what I was trying to say if you would've asked appropriate questions instead of just basically telling me I wasn't going to have a room. All I needed was a physical key. We got our keys and then she asked about our car and made it a point to say that cars get broken in to all of the time so just to keep an eye on it! So once that was all figured out, we went up to our room/s only to find out we had no towels and no remote and the bathroom totally smelled like ****. We had to keep our bathroom door shut our entire time. It was coming through the vents. Since it was so late and we had more than 1 room, I wasn't even going to try and ask for a different room at this point. We just wanted to get to sleep. We slept in the next morning after our late night. Breakfast is supposed to be from 6am-9am. We got downstairs at 8:40am and basically everything was out. The breakfast attendant was extremely rude when people were asking if she was going to replenish anything. We ended up going out for breakfast. Part of the reason I choose Hamptons is for the FREE HOT BREAKFAST!! Also our Heating/AC didn't work at all. There was a thermostat on the wall that didn't work, so we tried to do it on the actual unit - no luck. We had no hot water during our stay, just luke warm, the tub didn't drain so you stood in a foot of water by the end of your shower. The hotel is outdated, no fridge or microwaves in the rooms, rude staff, no vending or soda machines. I filled out the Hilton survey specifically asking for a call back and of course nobody has called yet to follow up on these issues. I heard other guests saying they didn't have hot water either. There are plenty of other choices out there to stay at. I wish I would've read the reviews before booking this hotel.

Juste de rentrer à l'hôtel et il serait certainement recommandé, chambres très propres et confortables, petit déjeuner idéal juste ce que nous voulions beaucoup de choix de la position idéale de l'hôtel facile à marcher à Beale Street Personnel très aidant lors de la recherche de places pour manger etc parking sous la piscine de l'hôtel gratuite belle Wee au 9e étage qui était brillant surtout pour refroidir dans les jours très chauds nous avions là bien fait

L'hôtel n'était pas mauvais. Amoureux de la chambre Elvis .... n'était pas la plus propre, la salle de bain et les murs pouvaient utiliser un bon travail propre et peinture. N'avait pas de petit déjeuner. Donc je ne peux pas dire beaucoup. Mais pour le prix que j'ai payé, je ne peux pas me plaindre. Ne t'inquiète pas de rentrer là.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La dame du bureau frontal est très jolie. Vérifiez lentement parce qu'elle était la seule à travailler. Elle a fait le meilleur que possible. L'atmosphère était terrible dans le lobby. La moitié des lumières n'étaient pas activées, la télévision a été éteinte et le restaurant et le bar ont été fermés en raison de l'équipe de courte durée. Ils auraient dû avoir quelque chose sur l'application IHG, alors j'aurais eu une tête en haut. Je resterais ici pour les chambres mais je considérerais certainement d'autres options qui sont dans la même gamme de prix.
