Travelodge Leatherhead

Friendly staff. Good location. Easy access to supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants. However, there was no air conditioning. You could open window a little bit, but air ventilation was still not good. It’s hard to say there was a view in the room, unless you consider a loading bay was okay. There was no free wifi provided in lounge or in hotel room. It’s chargeable at £3 per night. It’s noisy in the morning when workers began unloading products for a supermarket nearby.

The lodge was tidy and clean however heating needs to be worked on.

It was appalling. I was booked into room 416. The room had not been vacuumed, 2 remote controls but TV did not work, duvet cover on bed but duvet in bottom of wardrobe with no cover on, smelt of cigarette smoke, toilet cistern made gurgling noises when flushed, shower dripped constantly When I complained, I was eventually moved to room 128. This was marginally better but the net curtain was hanging off and had cigarette burn marks on, duvet was in the wardrobe (but did have a cover on this time), weird marks on back of toilet unit, shower curtain ripped at the top and 3 inches to short which resulted in water all over the floor The man on reception was not at all helpful, did not apologise, told me the breakfast was "crap so don't buy it" and the TV in 416 is a known fault and "has been like the for ages". Before agreeing to move my room, I was asked what "state" I had left the room in as he would have it go and clean it for someone else to stay in The fire exit on the 1st floor by the lift had about 20 black bin bags piled up on it which is a health and safety concern I was supposed to stay for a second night, but quite frankly it was so disgusting that I found elsewhere to stay and have recommended that my company pull all bookings from you

Another return visit to our home town and stay here to visit family and friends. Overall a nice stay and will be back next month.

Fantastic stay! Had the best sleep I’ve had in a while, very comfy room, reasonably priced in comparison to the other options. I’m unfamiliar with the area as I’m from the north (down to meet some old friends). Ollie was very helpful, telling me what’s good in the area and his recommendations on where to go etc. all the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be visiting again!

Best sleep I’ve had in ages, great staff and location. Clean, cheap but quality stay. Really cannot fault this Travelodge, although basic it offers everything needed. Paid extra for early check in and very much enjoyed the whole stay. There’s a vending machine in the lobby and a selection of cafe and restaurants within walking distance.

I appreciate this Travelodge is situated on the main High Street - as such, it's good value and easy to find. However, it was incredibly noisy - lots of noise coming from both inside (plumbing, doors slamming etc) and outside the hotel, lots of people gathering outside, shouting, screaming, police etc. I spoke to staff but they said there was nothing they could do.
