Staying at the castello was the highlight of my recent trip to Tuscany. The rooms were comfortable and charming. The grounds, sprinkled with olive groves and rolling hills were breathtaking. The service from Massimo his family and staff was personable and everyone went above and beyond to make our group feel comfortable. We were a group of ten joining a larger tour and we had the opportunity to eat several meals at the restaurant and everything we ate was delicious. It was truly some of the very best food in all of Tuscany. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling with a group of friends, couples, or destination weddings.

I loved everything about this stay. We were a small group of friends within a larger travel group. Staying at this hotel was one of the highlights of my trip because we felt like we were staying at a private Villa. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. Massimo and his family and staff were so kind and accommodating and really made our stay special. We had several meals at the hotel and I tried a lot of the things on the menu and everything was perfection. The best quality food on the whole trip. Everything was impeccable I would definitely stay here again. It’s a great place for girl’s trips, family vacations, and destination weddings.

We had such a wonderful experience staying here. Our friends had booked this hotel for their wedding venue and it was truly a dream destination! The place has the true essence of Tuscany, so if you want to experience Tuscany, you need to stay here. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and we can’t wait to revisit again! The hotel has a pool with a fantastic view and the food is so delicious! One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy! The beds were comfortable and the staff was so helpful. A big thank you to Lazarro and Barbara for going out of their way to make us feel so special and welcomed and to their entire staff for making our experience so enchanting. A memory we will remember for our lifetime! If you’re visiting Tuscany, you must stay here!

Me and my wife visited Castel Bigozzi to attend a friends wedding. The place is beautiful and heart warming. But what more amazing were the people from the time of check-in toll the checkout. Each and every person has such positive vibe and always helpful with any request. The rooms are very cozy and gives a very homely feeling. A special thank you to Lazzaro and Barbara for taking care of us with the full team. If we come back to Tuscany, we will definitely come back to Castel Bigozzi ❤️

We celebrated our wedding in this beautiful venue, and everything was perfect. The food is extremely good, the team is very professional and ready to help. Outstanding sunset, simply a dreamful place to visit.

A beautifully renovated castel while keeping its old world charm. Situated in the middle of an olive field, it offers spectacular views of Tuscany. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms updated. The brothers owning the resort are wonderful hosts that aim to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Breakfast was delicious and copious and we had the opportunity to dine at the resort...what a culinary experience it was. Definitely would return to this marvelous establishment

I stayed here for two days, and couldn’t be more pleased with the accommodations, restaurant and customer service. The castle dates from ~1000 but has been upgraded with modern expectations. The grounds are lovely, and the views are excellent. The restaurant was quite exceptional with a chef; it was a decided surprise. Traveling by car is recommended, though colleagues were able to taxi to and from Florence with some prior planning.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti, la pulizia della camera e degli spazi comuni erano impeccabili, la disponibilità e la gentilezza dello staff una nota aggiunta ad un posto veramente suggestivo. Il ristorante, dove viene consumata la colazione, è dotato di una vetrata con vista mozzafiato sulla val d’elsa fino a San Gimignano. La colazione: perfetta. Unica nota non positiva, dettata dalla tipologia di struttura, l’insonorizzazione delle camere. Si sente tutto quello che accade nella stanza adiacente… bagno compreso!

Molto bello e panoramico, camino enorme che crea una splendida a**osfera, soprattutto a Natale con l'albero di Natale immenso affianco. Luogo tranquillo per rilassarsi, leggere e passeggiare. Torneremo sicuramente. Camere grandi e pulite
