Residence Inn Montreal Midtown

IT WAS VERY NICE HOTEL AND SERVICE AND FOOD EVERYTHING WAS GOOD.

我們到酒店才被告知當天酒店滿房，沒房間了，但關鍵是我們出發之前已經早早全部付了房費。太離譜了，交了錢預訂成功的訂單竟然沒房住，還被安排到旁邊的酒店，面積小了一半多，最普通的房型，而且隔壁房正常説話都聽得到，當時已經夜裡十點多了，還在跟酒店交涉，酒店經理態度也是很輕蔑，給了我們非常不好的體驗！

Don’t stay here. The room did not have working heating and air conditioning. They know about the problem. The technician was in our room half the weekend trying to fix this. About 10 calls to the hotel manager were not returned. They know there is a problem with many rooms and still put people in those rooms.

Nice modern and clean rooms, foyer and entrance. Great staff and bar in lobby. Kids loved the pool, I loved the gym and meeting rooms were ideal for gathering with my sons hockey team. Great location. Can walk to many things or a short drive. Would go again. Group booking was smooth and easy and very good prices.

This hotel opened in November. The lobby is big and beautifully designed - very elegant. We were warmly greeted at reception, went to our room which was directly behind the elevator. We could hear and feel it vibrating as the elevator went up and down so asked for switch. The only other room was across the hall near the elevator. We thought this may be better but you could still hear the elevator and feel vibration from this room as well. Maybe it gets better if you have a room way down the hall from the elevator? I haven’t noticed this in other locations at all and I have stayed in many hotels! You could also feel the door close in the room next door while sitting on the bed and hear people talking at a normal level in the hallway. And here people talking / a child crying in the next room. The rooms are big and spacious but our bathroom already had damage to the shower. I am a Marriott member and have stayed in many locations - this one seems cheaply decorated as far as choice of materials. Also the lighting is not bright, especially around the mirror in the bathroom. The bed was very comfy. There is breakfast included in the morning but they kept running out of food before I could get to most of it, apparently due to numerous sports teams staying in the building. Parking is really convenient here and the in and out with your hotel key is a plus. I would probably choose a different Marriott location next time if I could get a better rate - this one just happened to be the lowest points redemption for me for this weekend that I needed to be in Montreal.

Last week my husband, son and I spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn Montreal Midtown. The hotel is fairly new, clean and modern. The lobby and breakfast area are light and airy with plenty of space; we never had to wait for a breakfast table. We had a King room with sofa bed. The room was very spacious, well laid out and very clean. Everything was in good repair. The bathroom was roomy; the shower had great water pressure and no water splashed out which is unusual for my husband. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed for my son. The kitchenette was well equipped with large refrigerator, cook top and dishwasher. The staff was great. I want to especially recognize the engineering and housekeeping staff. Whenever we called reception for something a staff member came to our room within 10 minutes to bring extra tissues or to stop the dishwasher from beeping and they were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was the best we have had at a hotel since the pandemic. This was a true hot breakfast with several items to choose from each day including eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes and a vegetarian item. Along with belgian waffles, many pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt and beverages. Everything was constantly replenished and hot. The staff kept everything clean and neat too. Parking in the underground garage was easy with direct access to hotel elevators. The neighborhood was nice but is not downtown which is what we needed with close access to highways. There is a metro station about a 10 min walk away which we took to downtown one day. There is a small pool and a nice gym as well. If you don't need to stay in downtown Montreal I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February and it was very clean and quiet. The parking garage was underground and access controlled so you needed to check in first before parking underground. Staff were courteous and friendly; we checked in early and they had no issues having our room available. The room itself was great; it was a standard King and felt like a very new studio apartment--it was very clean. We stayed close to the pool area; although we didn't use it, it looked clean and well maintained and it was indoors so nice for the winter time. Beds were comfortable and room was very quiet. Location was good; not downtown but close to the highway so it didn't take long to drive to Old Montreal. Breakfast was included and had the standard fare; was good for us as we were able to bring it up to the room and have it there since there was a kitchen and breakfast bar in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

I'm a Marriott Ambassador Elite Member and I've stayed in dozens of Marriott properties in North America. Nasrin Ayesha, the General Manager is absolutely amazing and has gone above and beyond to make me feel at home! Imad the Assistant Manager, Connie the Sales Manger, and So the Maintenance Manager have also been very helpful! Last but not least, I want to complement Zouhair, the Front Desk agent and Lina who works at the Bistro. They have both been incredibly accommodating!
