Misty Hills Villa Kadugannawa boasts the most incredible view over local mountains, best enjoyed if you are taking a cooling dip in the (small, but perfectly positioned) infinity pool! My husband and I were very well looked after during our short stay. The hotel staff served lovely breakfasts, organised two dinners for us and booked a tuk tuk for a day trip to Kandy. They also surprised me with a beautiful little cake on my birthday and even sang to me! The only small points I would make is that the dinners are not actually cooked on site - and that the staff did not offer to clean or make up our bedroom during our 3 night stay. Nevertheless, much kindness and warmth was demonstrated towards us and we loved the rural position of the property.

Very clean and beautiful hotel located atop the mountain. We had a gorgeous view of Kandy! Food was delicious and service was excellent. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The hotel is about 10 min from city center not too far. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kandy!

We loved this hotel to the point we would return to Kandy to stay here again! The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel and rooms were all clean and well maintained and the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicous. Overall we loved out stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. *we also bought some jewelry from the shop in the hotel which was good too.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows or balconies that let you soak in the serene surroundings. The beds are comfortable, and the overall ambiance feels homely yet refined. While the property is generally well-maintained, a few minor maintenance touches could make it even better. One of the highlights is the service — the staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is hearty and flavorful, often featuring fresh local produce, and dining on the terrace with a view is a treat in itself

Le bon Le personnel du café Bungalow, en particulier Adrian, qui est allé au-dessus et au-delà pour s'assurer que notre séjour est agréable. Si vous êtes préparé pour un peu de charme rustique et vous pouvez gérer le manque de AC et de confidentialité, le service chaud et de grands aliments peuvent compenser les désavantages.

Grand, qui savait qu'il avait été annulé sans raison avant d'être réservé, c'était vraiment inconnu, puis il était bon de se faire changer cette maison en jouant. L'environnement était bon, mais la position était trop loin, il n'y avait pas de plongée autour de lui, Kandy était la ville de montagne, et il était difficile de manger, Le paysage global du sommet de la montagne n'est pas comme je l'ai réservé avant, en fait, il n'est pas possible de le voir parce que le voyage à manger est excellent. Les installations de la chambre sont vieux, le toit est en peaux, le service est bon, le prix de la maison est élevé, le prix est peu élevé. Le petit-déjeuner est également commandé.

Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast. However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

La chambre a l'air très propre et très grande, mais le goût est très lourd et le climatisation est très puissant! Le buffet à frais indépendants est vraiment très bon, le prix n'est pas cher, le repas est meilleur que le pays!

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier. Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap. The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing. Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special. A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place. Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

Les propriétaires et les employés de cet hôtel sont si beaux. Leur hôtel n'est malheureusement pas. Je me sens presque catégorique comme beaucoup des photos ont mis en évidence l'atmosphère du bar et de la piscine. Ce n'était pas le cas - la piscine était une taille décente mais dans l'ombre et je n'ai vraiment vu personne dans elle. Les coups de bains de la fête de piscine que je soupçonne fortement n'étaient peut-être pas une source réelle. Le même spectacle est très vaste et a été accueilli par plusieurs gentlemen bien jeunes et ennuyeux, quand j'ai été le seul patron (une fois pour le dîner). Heureusement, la porte a été un autre lieu pour quelques cocktails et de musique décents qui ont sauvé quelque peu la largueur. La chambre était une grandeur décente avec un petit réfrigérateur (mais n'a pas fonctionné), la salle de bain était petite, se sentait sale, pas de savon à main ou de savon pour la douche (sauf les occupants précédents restants - et c'était gros). La pression était faible, ce qui a entraîné la douche difficile et il y avait des plaquettes sur le sol de certains dommages - pas nettoyés. Le lit était massif et confortable avec climatisation et un fan de ce genre de sommeil était bon. La chambre est très confortable et confortable. Je resterais là encore - non. Je ferais un tour pour dire bonjour aux propriétaires et à la porte à côté pour un cocktail - peut-être !
