I would like to thank everyone at Olepangi for the wonderful time spent at the farm. One of the best experiences ever: everything here is perfectly managed and cared after with passion and attention: the courtesy of the staff, the landscape with plants and flowers everywhere, the architecture and interior of the buildings, you name it. Really a great great place from whitch you can easily depart for safaris, or simply stay and rest admiring nature or participating to the many activities of the farm. A special mention to the food: healthy, tasty, varied and simply super from breakfast through dinner. Also: you can taste your meals in one better than the other different location of the farm, and this simply adds to the great experience that staying in Olepangi is. So thanks to Elizabeth, Kier, Edward, Naomi, and all the staff. Hope to come back soon.

Olepangi Farm is truly amazing and totally undersells itself. It’s mosquito and malaria free as it’s high up and because it’s high it’s the perfect temperature all year round during the day with a lovely breeze and in the evening for eating in the stunning open fronted lodge with swimming pool and bar. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. The accommodation is so peaceful and beautiful with stunning interior design. All the Farm is run Eco friendly via solar power so the only downsize is you can’t use a hair dryer. The whole accommodation has been built round the natural lie of the land, in traditional timber and stone with thatched roofs. All the food is not only home made but also grown on the farm so is all fresh and organic. It’s great for children too as they can be young farmers collecting the eggs each day, feeding the rabbits, milking the Jersey cows and watching the goats. There are also some lovely easy horses to ride round the farm or community and beauty treatments for anyone needing to relax. Best of all are the beautiful gardens, so many different birds flying around and sitting on your sun lounger watching the elephant, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, impala and worthog go by on the other side of the hill. If you’re very lucky you might even get to see a leopard or hyena too. We can’t recommend Olepangi Farm high enough. It’s perfectly placed for visiting Ol Pajeta, Lolldiga and Samburu Conservancies too. You can even get married at the farm too.

We stayed at Olepangi Farm for a few nights with our 2 year old and our 4 year old. The people, the farm and the location are stunning! Our kids are well travelled, but this was one of the best, if not the best, experience we have had travelling to a lodge with them. Our kids played on the farm, rode horses, baked bread, fed the tortoises and just had the most amazing experiences. We were not made to feel like they were getting in the way, like they were too active, too noisy or a nuisance. They were welcomed by all staff, the were allowed to help with everything and they were in tears when it was time to go. As parents with young children will probably know, the set dinner times and set menus are not always in keeping with the routine of young kids. This was not a problem though, and every day the chef and staff would discuss with us the menu, adaptation for the kids where needed and adjustments of times. This is not something we have ever been lucky enough to have on our travels. Well done Team Olepangi. We will be back!

A fantastic place, with extremely helpful and courteous staff! The location and care with which the property has been set up is really impressive. Everything: the food and drinks, accomodation, the properties and activities and staff more than met our expectations. The entire stay was a highlight!

We really enjoyed our stay at Olepangi Farm and wish to thank everybody again for making our stay such a special and memorable week for us both. Our time was made so memorable by the people and the property. It has been described but others a small piece of paradise and we couldn’t agree more. All of the staff were great whilst we were there and we really appreciated the professional yet easy going friendly nature of all of the team. We loved the layout of the property, the landscaping the layout of the all of the accommodation and communal areas that afforded an amazing view across into the conservancy especially given the opportunity to sight elephants, giraffe, and zebra at breakfast and dinner. We loved having George and the dogs Gertie, Monty, Zsa Zsa and Clemmie around as it very much reminded us of home and our dogs. The horse riding (around the property and also the community rides) was fantastic on wonderfully well behaved horses and provided a chance to more the surrounding area and the property. We also loved that the horses and cows could wander freely around the property during the day. The food and drinks the whole time was excellent and really appreciated the efforts of the kitchen staff and James in accommodating all our needs with the lunch in the garden conservatory a real highlight. We were impressed with the number of different activities that could be visited within close proximity of the property which were all well organised. Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lolldaiga Conversancy and the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy being the highlights. We can’t wait to return again which we hope will be very soon.

This property is everything it says and more! It’s beautifully simple structures with impeccably tasteful and intentional decor will add true indulgence to your stay! The staff are friendly and they go over and above to help you get comfortable and enjoy your time there. George was an absolute diamond with the kids and we barely saw ours as they were having so much fun and busy with so many educational activities. He was a walking encyclopédie of the ecosystems on the property. Such a wonderful stay! All the cottages are unique. The panoramic views of the conservancy next door will be worth your daydream. Would love to meet Elizabeth someday.

My wife and I spent a three-night stay at Olepangi Farm last March to escape from our work on the coast. We were extremely thrilled with the experience. This property is truly a delightful gem, offering ample space to relax and rejuvenate. The setting of Olepangi Farm is a masterpiece. The entire complex is immersed in breathtaking natural beauty, seamlessly integrated with the surrounding environment. The lush gardens and infinity pool overlooking the gentle hills are a feast for the eyes and the senses. Every detail is crafted with dedication and precision, and the room decor featuring ethnic pieces from various parts of the world creates a unique and captivating atmosphere. The welcoming and intimate atmosphere of the farm allowed us to deeply relax and connect with ourselves and the surrounding nature. The staff is exceptional, always kind and attentive to our needs. They made our stay even more enjoyable with their attention to detail and warm hospitality. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed as part of the Olepangi family. The owners, Elizabeth and Kier, are extraordinary individuals who love what they do and convey a sense of warmth and familiarity. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Olepangi Farm is truly an oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. The visit to the gardens allowed us to experience the freshness of the ingredients used in the lodge's cuisine and appreciate the care and dedication put into cultivating organic produce. The horseback ride in the surrounding area was also incredibly interesting. We highly recommend Olepangi Farm. The warm reception from the staff and the local residents made us feel right at home. This place offers the opportunity to connect with nature, make new friends, and have a unique experience. We can't wait to return to Olepangi Farm for another extraordinary adventure that will remain etched in our memory.

We spent 5 days at Olepangi Farm with our young kids. It is a delightful gem of a place. So much to do for all ages -- or plenty of beautiful space to do nothing. They have a great kids program and the food is all amazing and fresh from their organic gardens. Overall the setting is incredibly well thought out and absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to go back!
