They ：Gill & John are so lovely and kind! We challenged Mt Tongariro alpine crossing.They have many knowledge and gave us advice. We were so relieved. We asked shuttle service. He took us start point and picked us up at the end! The room,common area are so clean! At last,we got in the hot pool that healed our body. Totally it was best experience !! We are very sartisfied. Thank you very much.

Great location.The room was beyond comfortable. John and Jill were very friendly and knowledgeable. They told us a lot about the history and stories of the mountains. We felt very grateful that John called us a few time during our tongariro crossing to make sure we were ok. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

The room was clean, well equipped and the staff was very nice. I was supposed to sleep in the dormitory but as my stay was off season I got a free upgrade. It was great to spend the night in a warm king-size bed after sleeping in freezing huts during three consecutive nights haha.

Gill and Dutchy made us feel right at home. We booked directly through the Adventure Lodge & Motel website and got a free upgrade. We enjoyed the complimentary spa. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The room was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We booked their shuttle to and from the Tongariro crossing. Dutchy drove us to the start of the track and gave an informative and entertaining briefing. When we checked out, Gill was generous enough to offer plenty of recommendations for stops on our trip home. 10/10 would stay again :)

Super friendly staff and great little motel unit with good heating. Comfortable bed, good toiletries available. Wish I'd tried out the spa as bet it would be lovely on a cold evening. Good parking, nice eateries a walking distance away including a little food truck. Nothing to complain about!

Great stay. With an amazing, very friendly staff, great lodges with everything you need, and really good location, 15 minutes drive from Whakapapa village, just at the foot of the montain. All shared areas are tidy and well maintained. Super recommend!

2 nights Amazing experience with the Freedom package! Easily accesible hotel with lots of parking space and amazing staff, loved them! Freedom package incuded everything as offered with better quality than expected! On day of hike we had a bagel which was super delicious and got us going for the hike. Lunch to go for the hike was packed very nicely with sandwich, chocolates, protein and muesli bars and fruits - everything you may need! Evening after the hike we had complimentary jacuzzi which was an amazing relaxation after the hike. English breakfast the next day(before leaving) was also freshly cooked and super delicious! Overall an amazing experience with nothing wrong to say about this accommodation, value better for the price! If you plan to stay in National Park for the Tongariro hike, stay here with the Freedom package, believe me, it's worth it!

Gill was a wonderful host going out of her way to help us find an alternative hike when the crossing was closed. She was also so accommodating and helpful in providing toys and equipment for our 8-month-old. AND the food was fantastic. Thank you! I would thoroughly recommend.
