Derby Cathedral and Loughborough’s Beacon Hill Country Park are both only thirty minutes away, and will make for some superb snapshots to show your friends and family. If you don’t wish to travel quite so far, plenty of family fun can be found closer by. Drayton Manor Theme Park is less than a 20 minute drive away and Twycross zoo is only four minutes away - both making for great days out.

Hotel was just off the motorway so good connections to on ward journeys food choice is limited but whole sum and delivered quickly

Hotel was clean, friendly, but quiet. Room good, bed comfy, but no biccies on the tea tray. All round nice place with pleasant staff.

Stayed for 3 nights here and found it very comfortable, Lovely breakfast choice something for everyone. Had a nice meal in the evening as well. Very friendly staff , the room was comfortable and clean, Bathroom was nice and clean with a shower over the bath which was quite powerful. All in all would stay here again. Not many miles away to Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and the National Arbretum.

The hotel and staff were lovely. We ate there for both nights of our stay and the food was very good and at good prices. However whoever does their ordering and stocking needs a serious kick up the ****. No red wine or brandy in the bar both nights (why not pop to a local supermarket and get some if orders are iffy). No coffee in the bar, machine broken. Second night some desserts ran out. Second morning at breakfast no croissants then after waiting for 35 minutes for cooked breakfast we are told they have no eggs! They did refund our breakfast! As I said the staff were great just sort the ordering.

stayed over on way up north for a break and always use Best Western in staying overnight found this on website and planned to stay overnight and they catered for the mobilty issues of my husband and so caring and helpful
