A truly stunning stay - the hotel and grounds are beautiful and our junior suite with a view of the vineyards and countryside was incredible. The dinner and wine was delicious, as well as the breakfast. The perfect stay near Orvieto - highly recommend.

This is a special property outside Orvieto. It is a working vineyard with good wine, a chef who prepared very good dinners and beautiful breakfast buffets. We had a lovely large room …very comfortable. I recommend this property for couples, groups and families.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. More than 3 of the days the Wi-Fi did not work in the room, and we needed it as it rained each day we were there. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the rooms next to you, so we got woken up by others’ alarm clocks and children each morning. I would also skip the dinner. It’s a shame because the property is beautiful and wine is good, but unfortunately we won’t be staying there again.

A lovely inn! Our junior suite was nicely appointed, with a beautiful view of the vineyards and olive groves. You can feel the history of the building, yet the updates are modern. Breakfast was the best we had our entire time in Italy. We recommend taking a vineyard tour with lunch, the food and wine were sublime. All employees were kind and welcoming. Bring good shoes so that you can hike around the property, it's worth the effort (and the hills!!). If you are a light sleeper, bring white noise or earplugs because you can hear the footsteps of other guests in neighboring rooms. Further, if there is a late dinner then you may hear fussy babies or other guests heading to their rooms late at night.

We had the most amazing stay at this lovely Winery /Inn after a busy week in Positano for my sons wedding . The owners are such gracious hosts , we had a lovely included breakfast each morning & opted for dinner on the veranda as well . The rooms were very comfortable & beautiful ! The drive to Orvieto for a day trip is about 15 minutes . You will not regret a stay here , wonderful & off of the beaten path .

A wonderful stay in the hills just outside Orvieto. This is a small and quiet hotel part of a vineyard surrounded by vines and stunning views. The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. The restaurant on the terrace served delicious food with stunning views of the sunset and the vines across the valley. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing and the garden offered plenty of shade.

I had been looking forward to this stay at the end of our 3-week trip backpacking through Italy. It was perfect. A tour of the winery, a room with a view overlooking the skyline, and incredible staff. The breakfast was lovely and full of local offerings. The wine was lovely with our favorite being their bottle made on location without electricity. It was romantic and I can't wait to come back. Many thanks to the staff for making such a beautiful stay possible.

One of Umbria’s best kept secrets! This place is perfection from start to finish. The location and property are absolutely breathtaking but the owners and the staff go to great lengths to make your stay unforgettable. Tiny details demonstrate their passion for pleasing their guests. The food is wonderful, ingredients hand picked from their gardens or nearby artisanal farms. Their patio restaurant seats only a few but will wow you from the moment you sit down. Their wines and olive oil are their own and are wonderful. Days are peaceful and serene in this bucolic paradise run by hospitality experts. The fact that there are only a few rooms allows them to pamper their guests and makes you feel that you really are the king of this castle. Absolutely wonderful!

This beautifully restored palazzo sits a few Kms outside Orvieto. It is expensive and the taster menu comes up to what you’d expect for the cost , but you are paying for exclusivity, privacy , and excellent staff. The pool is beautiful and the views stunning
