Tiger N Woods Resort

Had a terrible experience of waking up at night with leaked water/urine and footsteps sound of civet cat on our roof,poor fellow is scavenging dirt and leftovers of uncleaned food in the resort . Post waking up looked up to the ceiling to get a clue and found out there are cracks in the ceiling that have been cello taped to avoid water leakage. If I had been intimated regarding this situation in wooden Machan would had probably tried for tiger suite as we are wild life enthusiasts and all these experiences cut short on the joy of wildlife moreover asking for help the kitchen guy asked me to go to sleep . Please consider to check the roof before opting for Wooden Machan

It’s located near turia gate property is having Machaan room category which is very good feeling like close to jungle with a balcony view of jungle you can see dears bird’s sound room we enjoyed in swimming pool but chlorine smell is making us irritating service is good restaurant is having good food tea to be prepared with improvement my overall experience was nice.

The Hotel Tariffs are too high to the service they provide. Rooms are not well maintained as shown on the site specially Wooden Machan. Over all average stay. ***y good options are available as compared.

This was our 1st trip to Pench. Thru an agent we booked this. While in the wilderness, we were not expecting the luxury, we opted for the room with a private pool. The highlight of the say was the warmth of the people and food quality and spread. We enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you team Tiger and Woods.

A brilliant place to stay as a base for safaris in Pench tiger reserve. The buildings and grounds are set amongst lovely mature trees that really make the place feel peaceful and connected to the jungle. The wood cabin style rooms are brilliant, and the private balcony overlooking the jungle is excellent - you can see amazing wildlife without leaving the accommodation! The staff were also friendly, and the food, entertainment and pool were ideal after busy days of safari. We visited from the UK and would definitely return, it was a great place to stay. Thanks to the whole team at Tiger ‘N’ Woods!

The place is very nice, clean and staff are just amazing.. they are very courteous and make sure that they treat us really well. Food was just awesome. It felt like homemade food. They keep asking for feedback on food and everything. From coordinating our safari vehicles to food to packing our breakfast on morning safaris, everything was amazing… just can’t complain and would anyway come back to stay here.

The location is excellent. The rooms however are untidy with full of pests. Actually this is an old property and rooms are not well maintained. The private pool is name sake. The food options are very limited. Rest of the property is good.

True to its name, you do sight tigers in this resort amidst the woods which is very close to the Park entrance. A fortunate few spotted a tigress with cub ***** the nullah adjoining the property. We were a big group of 28 wildlife enthusiasts who checked in. The high point was the ever smiling staff who were always at hand to assist you. Right from morning wake up call, to giving you tea/coffee early morning before start of treks and packed breakfast - everything was perfect on the five days we stayed there. Lunch/dinner spread was sumptuous and very tasty. They serve non-vegetarian food only for dinner. There were liberal servings of chaas, Jal jeera and curd which was just what was needed in the peak of summer when the temperature hit about 42-43 celcius. There are ten wooden machans on stilts and about three suites. We stayed in a machan which was roomy and had an attached balcony overlooking the woods. You have plenty of bird life around the campus, not to forget mentioning snakes ***** the creepers. Though the path to the machans is lit, one has to be careful navigating it from the dining place. The toilets were neat and functional with sparkling fittings and bed linen and towels quite clean. If one were to nit-pick, though we were told there is a geyser in the room, it probably never worked and being May, it was ok. The other bit which was annoying was the sound generated when one walked over the floor. It did disturb the sleep. They should have some da****ers/sound absorbers. On the whole, high class service with a smile in Mowgli's land.

This was our first wildlife trip and we had been booked at Tiger n Woods by my friend who arranged the trip. The rooms were spic and span. The food spread in the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu were delicious. The best part was the mini pool available in our rooms which the kids loved a lot. Turiya gate is just a 5 minute drive from this place making it an ideal Location to stay. The staff is very humble, polite and prompt with their service. Definitely a place where we would like to visit.
