Un sans faute pour Kastro Aprtments. Nous y avons passé une semaine en couple en mai 2021. Appartement magnifique : très pratique car conçu intelligemment, matériaux de très bonne qualité, et décoration élégante et raffinée, qui reste dans un authentique style local. La cuisine est suffisamment équipée également pour faire à manger pour 4 au besoin, vaisselle jolie et coordonnée. Affaire familiale où père et fils mettent beaucoup de cœur à l’ouvrage et apportent un soin particulier à chaque moindre détail. Sans parler de leur sympathie et leur gentillesse, qui n’enlèvent rien à leur professionnalisme indiscutable. Très bon niveau d’anglais pour tous, ce qui facilite grandement la communication. Bref, on a été ravis de notre séjour et si on repart en Crète, on reviendra forcément chez eux !

I could only say good words about the hospitality and the great time in Kastro Apartments. First, the owner and his family welcomed me as they knew me for many years. The owner's son Giorgios helped me with my luggage. They are warm and very kind people. When I opened the room door, a fresh aroma hit me and the room was fabulous. Modern and cosy design and the bed reminded me of the good old traditional days with curtains on the sides. The room was clean and tidy. Downstairs, located the Kastro Restaurant the owner invited me that night to have a dinner. Modern Cretan cuisine as it's best. I had grilled fish that night; it was delicious with all the flavour and natural juices of the fish. Slow tempo Greek music was in the background, and the atmosphere was ideal. The staff were fantastic always there for you. If anyone wants to spend a few days in Rethymno, relax in a cosy apartment with a fantastic sea view and eat a delicious meal in Kastro Restaurant, then I highly recommend it. Thank you, Manolis, for the great hospitality and time. I will come back!

Spacious, retro decorated 1 bedroom apartment, lots of space, period furniture, air con, modern refurbished 5* bathroom. 10 steps from the wonderful restaurant with the most amazing family of staff and food. Cretan hospitality at its finest. If you want authentic Greek hospitality then book here.

Good, clean rooms, you will find everything you need. AC and everything else worked flawless. FREE wifi actually worked well. So the price is super fair and the owners are very very nice and welcoming. We would always choose this place over one of the bigger hotels - and we've seen many. We can also recommend their restaurant next to the apartments. The best food we had in crete. And don't worry - there is no noise from the restaurant. (You want the make a reservation, the place can be busy for a reason) Parking is also easy - just across the street.
