« Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful during our stay. They were professional and always smiley whenever we got back hotel. Especially yu min 于敏 wang jing王晶, they helped with our smooth check in and check out and my many enquires. Requested for late check out for 30mins and they gave me 1 hour instead, really appreciate for that!!! We were surprised with the little gift pack from the hotel. It’s the local tea leaves and volcanos rock!! It’s something so unique and interesting as a gift! It’s one of the best hotels I would say!! Room was spacious, clean and smart. The layout and lighting of the room make our stay very comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was delivered right to our room in the morning at our specific timing. This saves us effort to make our way to the dining place for breakfast when we can enjoyed it in our room. The laundry room was definitely a huge plus for us. Totally free of charge for washing and drying clothing. The stay was so great and we decided to extend one more night. Location is near the town area. Either flag for taxi or ask the receptionist for help would be a better option. It’s very convenient to roam around the area as taxi is widely available. Overall it was an awesome and enjoyable stay. »

« Exceptional Stay in Changbaishan – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at a hotel in Changbaishan, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, everything was managed exceptionally well, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with rooms that are both comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the standout features was the outdoor onsen—an absolutely amazing place to unwind amidst the serene natural surroundings. The decoration in front of hotel with rows and rows of cute snowmen are also very lovely, we took plenty of photos there. Additionally, the free transportation services were incredibly efficient, including a convenient shuttle service to and from the train station and free transfers to the ski site. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though communication was sometimes challenging as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to Ms. Zhang Yong Ping 张永评 (WeChat: Xin Xin 鑫鑫), the guest manager from the front desk department, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Ms. Zhang provided us with outstanding butler service and demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. She helped us navigate the complexities of buying tickets and traveling to Changbaishan, ensured we boarded the correct buses, and even made sure we didn’t miss any important connections. Due to high season, we couldn’t secure a room in Building 3 for our second night and had to reserve rooms in Building 2 via an online platform. Ms. Zhang kindly and proactively made arrangements so we could stay in Building 3 throughout our visit—a thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference. Every aspect of our stay was well taken care of, and the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service truly stood out. Thanks to Ms. Zhang and the entire hotel team, our time in Changbaishan was a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to returning in the future! »

« I love the minimalistic design of this hotel. The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The receptionist is very helpful and willing to go extra miles for helping us on booking for the courier service. There is also a supermarket and a Korean fusion restaurant right below the hotel which is very convenience. »

« The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station, which allowed us to connect with a driver called Ting Ting. The distance from Changbaishan railway station to the hotel is about a 10 min drive away. The hotel is clean, offers hot ginseng tea and the room is extremely spacious. The amenities kit is good too, with body lotion provided. Guests services staff are extremely helpful and kind. However, we spoke mandarin with them so I think the experience will be better if you spoke in Chinese. Breakfast at hotel is also a great spread - mainly noodles, rice, and Chinese dishes that tastes great. Coffee machine provided relatively great espresso (for an automatic machine). However, the highlight would be Ting Ting; whom we connected via Mercure. We were tourists without a local Chinese mobile number, so she knew and told us it’s extremely difficult for us to get anywhere in Changbaishan (there is only a local T3 ride hailing app, and Didi is not applicable there). She offered to drive us around for our stay (3D2N) instead, and taught us how to book our tickets for Changbaishan National Park. She also recommended and drove us to dining places that she has tried, and they were indeed great shops with tasty food! Ting Ting also reminded us what we needed to prep to go up to Changbaishan and took us to rent the necessary gear (fleece guard protection for knee, fleece shoes etc) as we did not have the right attire for the -10 and up temp in early March. She is extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommend Mercure and Ting Ting! 美居酒店又干净，房间也很大。早餐也丰富，多样。咖啡机的意式浓缩还很不错。酒店的柜台和工作人员都很友善，服务周到。因为酒店有包接站服务，我们链接了司机婷婷。她真的太好了，我们没大陆手机号，不知道根本去不了哪里。婷婷也教我们怎么购买长白山景区票、怎么玩。然后重要的是她也提醒我们上长白山需要注意的-我们不够防冷和防风的衣裳和鞋子，所以她也带我们去租了。婷婷也介绍我们好吃的地方，真的赞赞赞！ »

« The room was spacious, the hot springs were exceptional, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options (though not entirely to my personal taste). Most importantly, the butler service (管家莹莹 小張）was outstanding. From the moment of arrival, throughout the stay, and even during outings, the staff provided comprehensive 24-hour assistance. They followed up on every detail and ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a truly welcoming and home-like experience. The level of care and attention made me feel like a valued guest at every turn, leaving a lasting impression on the overall quality of my stay. »

« Booked this hotel due to VIP tianchi & free 3 hrs ski. However, we are still resolving an issue of refunding deposit. Deposit of 1300 was not claimed due to rushing of check out. It was a tricky refund and process is taking long due to cash was involved. Hope it can resolve soon. Overall, the welcoming and service is excellent. However, the hotel is abit inaccessible. This means it hard to get to town and food choices are limited unless u pay rmb 80 to town. 2 places to dine in hotel- level 1 skewer and steamboat buffet 188 per pax and level 2 korean food. Please dont dine at Korean restaurant. The food is expensive and not nice. The beef soup and meat doesn’t have any beef taste and waiter reply adding chili to spice the soup. This doesn’t mean any sende as the soup will taste chili instead of beef. »

« 賓館位置好找，住着很舒服，服務態度特別好。周到細心，房間乾淨衞生。床睡着很舒服，洗澡熱水供應非常好。之前住過好多家賓館，這家是最舒適的，衞生最好。衞生間無一點異味。所以每次來，都會選擇這家。推薦的好住處。室內格局舒心，物品齊全。周邊美食也特別多。 »

« L'hôtel de printemps chaud de Chang Bai Shan est un excellent hôtel et je recommande vivement à quiconque souhaite visiter ! L'hôtel dispose d'une « rue marchante » avec une grande sélection de boutiques à quelques pas de l'hôtel, avec un magasin de produits, quelques restaurants et un magasin de cadeaux. »

« L'hôtel est bon, mais pour les étrangers sans se déplacer en Chine, la petite ville n'est pas facile. Il est si difficile de prendre un taxi. Le dernier jour, l'hôtel n'a pas pu fournir le transport de retour à la gare. La nuit dernière, il était aussi difficile d'obtenir un taxi pour dîner. Nous avons dû attendre l'autobus et marcher. Il n'est pas une grande distance, mais avec les personnes âgées et les enfants en congélation, il n'est pas amusant. L'hôtel est fermé à l'entrée nord de Changbai, mais il est un peu loin du centre-ville, où sont les plus nombreux et les restaurants. »

« L'hôtel est très bon marché et a une bonne position, à quelques pas de la ville (environ 10 minutes). Je vous recommande de réserver le voyage en bois directement avec eux au lobby. Les propriétaires ont aussi une ferme dans la forêt, et le voyage est vraiment digne de le faire. Ils vous guident par la forêt, enseignent des compétences de survie comme le lancement d'un feu. Après, ils servent un délicieux déjeuner cuit sur un four chaud. Nous avons également essayé de pêcher la glace, où nous avons fait notre propre trou dans la glace. Je recommande vivement ce lieu à tout le monde qui visite Changbaishan ! »
