Our stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate in the Hunter Valley was truly exceptional! The property is set amidst beautiful vineyards, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious and elegantly appointed, with every detail considered for comfort and luxury. We dined at éRemo Restaurant, the sister restaurant of Spicers Guesthouse, and it was a culinary delight. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the Binnie Beef Hunter Valley Wagyu was a standout! The accompanying Thomas wine was superb and perfectly paired with the meal. We also enjoyed a morning walk along the valley’s scenic trail and were greeted with the sight of hot air balloons floating over the hills—a mesmerizing experience. The entire stay was seamless, the staff were attentive, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Hunter Valley in style!

We stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.

It was a lovely stay. Nice room, clean and tidy, the complimentary drink was a nice gesture. The property is huge and peaceful for a relaxing walk around. It's convenient to wineries and restaurants. The only thing didn't really work for us was the air conditioner, couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

Very cute hotel in fab location. Lovely grounds with great views. Check in could have been easier - there was nobody around when we arrived and we weren’t sure which room we were in. The info had been emailed to me, but as a foreign national I needed the WiFi to get the email! Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We weren’t sure which grateful for the coffee machine and pods and loved sitting on the terrace with a bottle of wine after a good days tasting. Very much recommend!

La chambre était super propre et moderne. L'espresso est amoureux de la machine et ils ont également fourni du lait. Très bonnes besoins de base et les installations de douche sentent fantastique. Un endroit fantastique pour se détendre et se refroidir, regarder les vignobles, regarder le houblon cangaroos, et les vaches qui passent les champs. C'est exactement ce qu'un portrait devrait être. Facile à vérifier et à sortir. Merci.

We had a wonderful stay at voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley. Everything about this place was perfect from the peaceful atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. It’s such a relaxing spot, ideal for a quiet getaway. The property is stunning, with lovely gardens and scenic views that make you feel instantly calm and refreshed. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Whether you’re looking to unwind, explore the Hunter Valley, or just enjoy some time away from the city, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend and would definitely love to return!

We truly loved the whole experience offered, from the individual chalets in the midst of the woods, to the kangaroos at our doorstep, to the wines offered at deeply discounted prices in the fridge and the comfortable beds. Locationwise, it is very central as many vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens and restaurants are just 5-10minutes drive away. Definitely will stay here again should we return to this region

Lovely spot for a weekend in Pokolbin, set way back from the road in a picturesque clearing filled with wallabies! So nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down as they fed on the grass. Lovely spacious room with kitchenette and a big bathtub. Beautiful bathroom products by Jurlique was a nice touch ! The bed was a little firm for me but my husband loved it. Knocked off a star for cleanliness as you could see the walls were quite dusty when the up lights were on. It didn’t feel super private , you could hear all conversation when guests were out on their balconies.

Allez à Hunter Valley, c'est un endroit très pratique, à proximité de la cave et des restaurants. L'hôtel dispose d'un espace pour enfants et d'une piscine, et l'environnement est meilleur. Remarque ⚠️ Le climatiseur n'est disponible que dans le salon, et il n'y a qu'un ventilateur de plafond dans la chambre. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour ma mère seule, mais c'était le genre de personne qui avait particulièrement peur de la chaleur et qui dormait sur le canapé du salon toute la nuit. Il n'y a rien à recommander pour le dîner, car nous avons mangé dans un restaurant cher et désagréable (je suis une personne qui aime la cuisine occidentale), et revenons cuisiner mon propre repas le soir.
