This hotel has everything, comfortable room, great amenities, fantastic restaurant (don’t miss the Asian buffet on Wednesday nights) and fantastic location ( transfer busses to all the ski locations right on your door step plus just one block from the Main Street). The staff are so helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

UUtilisateur anonymeWe had a great time at Canoe. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. Soaking in the hot tubs were a great way to relax after a long day. It was easy to find parking (at least during the winter when we went) and a multi-day bus pass is provided if you don’t want to drive or walk to downtown Banff. Only complaint is that the heater/AC unit is below the window and the air would hit the occupants of the bed closest to it. We worked about it by blocking the air with a chair.

IInvitéExcellent location in Banff! Near stores and restaurants with awesome views around. Very friendly staff too.
The room itself was quite clean except that as soon as we entered, there were flies including fruit flies… Other than that, the room was big and warm. It had a keep safe too.
The washroom was quite small, it was hard to close the door but it worked out.

IInvitéTout est bien à part l'emplacement. Si vous venez avec votre voiture, la localisation ne vous concerne pas. Mais il faut quand même environ 10 minutes à pied pour rejoindre la rue principale et la station Hight School. Étonnamment, le parquet dégage de la chaleur.

IInvitéThey need assigned parking, otherwise you might end up having to park aways a way from your room. Also the walk way to our unit and stairway was all covered with snow and ice. It would’ve been nice if it was all cleaned before we got there. We had to ask the front desk three times before anything was done. Also we wanted to go into the hot tubs, but we were unable to. Due to there was way too much many people that were in there at the time. So we left for a couple hours and came back, thought ok let’s try again (hot tub). Once again unable to cause it was still packed with the same people. Other than that, everything was pretty good.

IInvitéThe staff were friendly and helpful, and found a snow brush for us when we realized we had left ours at home. The location is perfect, a straight 10 or so minute walk downtown so you avoid the hassles of trying to find parking downtown. If walking isn't an option for you ( physical limitations, lazy holiday...or hangover) there's a bus stop right outside. There's an attached restaurant if you just want to stay in once in. Our room was large and clean with microwave fridge and coffee. Was it brand new? No, (but neither am I) and at the price, absolutely fine!

IInvitéNous avons fait un petit séjour à Banff de Calgary et nous avons eu un grand temps.
La piscine cave était un gros coup, mais juste une tête en haut qu'il n'est pas vraiment une “baignoire”. Elle est plus comme un grand tube chaud de style cave. Elle est douce, et l'eau est assez chaude, donc les enfants ne pouvaient vraiment nager ou mettre leurs visages sous l'eau. La salle de bains est très cool, et les adultes ont vraiment aimé le relax.
Nous avons séjourné dans une suite avec deux lits doubles, plus un salon avec un canapé, un salon de cuisine et une salle de bains.
Un des côtés était la télévision. Je sais que vous ne allez pas à Banff pour vous asseoir et regarder la télévision, mais il serait bon qu'ils soient mis à jour pour les télés intelligentes. Si vous voyagez avec des enfants, je suggérerais de vous apporter une Fire Stick ou Chromecast. Même un câble HDMI pour connecter un ordinateur portable fonctionnerait, mais assurez-vous de télécharger des films avant le temps parce que le Wi-Fi dans notre région était assez spot et les enfants ont perdu la connexion.
Le personnel de la chambre de front était fantastique.
Nous resterions ici encore, et la prochaine fois nous apporterons certainement quelque chose pour la télévision afin que nous puissions faire une nuit de film facile après un jour occupé.

IInvitéGreat value for money. Easy stroll to ski bus stop and the town centre, but a quiet, secluded location. Our room was very clean and spacious. Coffee and tea making, plus fridge, tv etc... were fine and a microwave was available in the hallway. The room was warm, however difficult to control the room temp and unfortunately an air con vent was always on and not controllable. Therefore a background noise all the time. The decor was also a little dated. However, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the next door hotel provided a smart pool and sauna area, as well as a great restaurant for breakfasts. Overall a good experience and would definitely consider staying again.
