1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square 2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night 3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs 4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you 5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic 6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门） gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel 7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward . Will definitely stay there again when in chaozhou

L'environnement de l'auberge a dépassé les attentes. L'emplacement est dans la ruelle de la ville antique et il est très pratique de se rendre à pied aux attractions environnantes. L'auberge a été restaurée comme résidence d'un Shangqing sous la dynastie Ming. Elle est antique et conserve les murs extérieurs d'origine en briques bleues tout en conservant des éléments modernes ! Il y a eu une panne de courant inattendue pendant mon séjour. Le patron a été très prévenant en organisant les ventilateurs, l'eau potable, etc., et a prêté une attention particulière au temps d'alimentation électrique ! Le patron est très honnête et vous enverra un guide de voyage avant de vous enregistrer ! Il est fortement recommandé de visiter la ville antique !

The inn was very traditional on the outside, but really modern in the rooms. The outside of the inn is perfect for travelers who like to take photos. The cleanliness of the room was very good; not a spot of dirt was to seen. The location of the inn is very convenient. We have easy access to a lot of tourist attractions nearby, along with a wide variety of traditional delicacies to choose from. The rooms at the inn was also very quiet. For those light sleepers, you will not get any disturbance when sleeping as we can’t hear a sound when sleeping. Neither the sound of the motorbike nor the shouting of people can be heard. Apart from that, the host was very friendly he happily pointed out different tourist attractions nearby and how to get to and fro easily. He also poured us cups of tea while talking about China’s history. Those who are interested in that, you could ask the host to tell you about China’s history and he would be happy to tell you all about it! Overall the experience was very good and I will definitely come back when I go to China next time!

Cependant, cet hôtel, de par son emplacement, ne possède pas d'entrée principale ni de hall d'accueil traditionnel. À la place, un ascenseur mène directement à une petite réception, une laverie, une petite salle de sport et les chambres. Les habitués des hôtels pourraient être déçus, mais ceux qui ont l'habitude des maisons d'hôtes trouveront cela tout à fait normal. **Confort de la chambre :** Honnêtement, la chambre et son environnement sont radicalement différents. La chambre est impeccable et, bien qu'elle donne sur la rue, elle est très calme fenêtres fermées. **Service :** L'enregistrement se fait via WeChat, où l'on ajoute un concierge personnel. Le nôtre était « Concierge n° 6 », et elle était très réactive, aimable et rassurante. De plus, le personnel de ménage, affectueusement surnommé « Sœur », était efficace et chaleureux. L'une d'elles nous disait souvent : « Appelez-moi si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit, pas de problème », ce qui nous a mis en confiance. **Services :** Équipements : La chambre dispose de toilettes intelligentes avec eau chaude et chasse d’eau automatique, idéales pour les personnes âgées et les enfants qui ne sont pas habitués à tirer la chasse. La chambre est également équipée de l’application Baidu Assistant ; il suffit de dire « Baidu, Baidu » pour allumer/éteindre la lumière, ouvrir/fermer les rideaux ou programmer une alarme – très pratique pour les personnes qui préfèrent la simplicité !

We love the retro vibe of this hotel, can experience prepare and taste local tea inside hotel lobby. Two buildings facing each other inside an ally few minutes walk from the back of Guangji gate Tower. The taller tower have lift and roof top terrace, great view of the Guangji Bridge. There are many delicious Chaozhou food just few minutes walk from the hotel. Enjoy so much and wish we can stay longer.

Lors de mon récent séjour à l'hôtel Homeinn Plus Chauzhou, j'ai vécu une expérience mitigée que je tenais à partager. Dès mon entrée dans la chambre, une odeur désagréable et persistante m'a empêché de me détendre. Il s'agissait d'un mélange d'air vicié et de renfermé, ce qui a gâché ma première impression de l'hôtel. Malgré ce contretemps initial, j'ai trouvé le personnel de l'hôtel exceptionnellement serviable et arrangeant. Après avoir fait part de mon mécontentement à la réception, la réceptionniste s'est rapidement excusée et m'a proposé de changer de chambre. J'ai apprécié leur réactivité et leur volonté de rectifier la situation, ce qui a considérablement amélioré mon séjour. La nouvelle chambre était un vrai bol d'air frais. Propre, bien entretenue et sans aucune odeur désagréable, elle m'a permis de profiter pleinement du reste de mon séjour sans aucun désagrément. Les équipements de la nouvelle chambre étaient satisfaisants, avec une literie confortable et une jolie vue sur les environs. Bien que ma chambre initiale ait laissé à désirer, l'attitude positive et l'efficacité du personnel de l'hôtel ont fait toute la différence. Leur souci de la satisfaction client a transformé une expérience potentiellement négative en un séjour bien plus agréable. En conclusion, même si je ne peux ignorer le problème de l'odeur désagréable dans la chambre, la réactivité du personnel qui m'a permis d'être relogé dans un hébergement plus convenable mérite d'être soulignée. Je serais prêt à retourner au Sunshine Hotel à l'avenir, mais j'espère qu'ils pourront régler ce problème d'odeur dans leurs chambres afin d'améliorer la satisfaction générale des clients.

The room is spacious and the hotel’s location is excellent—most tourist spots and nice restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away. We also received a complimentary upgrade to a family room with a balcony, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the reception is located on level 4, and one concern is that the public can access the lift to all guest floors, which may pose a safety issue. Additionally, the laundry area is semi-open and only has a dim light, which makes it feel a bit dark.

La chambre est bonne, mais beaucoup d'installations ne sont pas utiles, comme le bain de bain, parce que le soir de la soirée de Qingming n'ose pas sortir du balcon. Le lit est très confortable, mais le coucher est difficile à dire et ne dorme pas bien sur le lit. Le service aurait voulu être superbe, car quand vous prenez votre séjour, demandez à un enfant (1 m7) de donner plus de petit déjeuner, très agréable. J'ai donné le numéro d'ordre à Trip.com au moment de l'hébergement, la réception a demandé directement le nom de la chambre, car il y a d'autres personnes à l'hébergement, j'ai donné mon identité et je n'ai pas dit le nom. Je ne veux pas que le numéro de téléphone soit privé, mais que je le fasse sur mon téléphone. Donnez-moi un petit conseil, ne laissez pas directement l'invité dire son nom et son téléphone, vous pouvez changer 𠆤. À l'époque, je me suis donné une carte de chambre seulement. Je me suis demandé d'avoir une carte de chambre supplémentaire, et j'ai expliqué pourquoi. Je suis allé jouer avec mes enfants à la ville après-midi, M. est allé à la montagne, à différentes heures, la réception est très agréable de me donner une carte de chambre plus. Cependant, j'ai entrer dans la chambre environ 15 minutes. J'ai rapidement été consulté par le personnel de service pour demander une carte de retour. Je voudrais demander que l'hôtel n'est-il pas suffisant d'utiliser la carte de séjour? Enfin, mon père est rentré tôt à l'hôtel, attendant que nous entrerons dans la porte une heure, cette expérience est vraiment mauvaise.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in Chaozhou We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth, questions were answered quickly, and throughout our stay the service remained warm and attentive without ever feeling forced. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes a hotel memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days exploring Chaozhou, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room, including complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, bottled water, bathrobes, quality tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of storage space. The river view was another highlight. Waking up and looking out over the Han River and the city skyline was a wonderful way to start the day. The room felt peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. Everything felt well maintained and cared for, from the guest room to the common areas. What impressed us most was how the staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. Great facilities are important, but outstanding service is what truly sets a hotel apart, and this team delivered exactly that. If you’re visiting Chaozhou and looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent service, beautiful river views, and a relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside. A wonderful stay and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Guangdong.

The host was really friendly and helpful. She saw that we were going to stay there for 4 nights and took the initiative to upgrade us to a larger room with one more extra bed and closer to the laundry facility. That was a pleasant surprise when we checked in. Straight after checking in, she made some Chinese tea where we sat and she briefed us on the places to visit. Gave us her WeChat which we can contact her anytime if we needed any help. Everything was great and the kids loved it so much. They have electric bikes where you can rent and it was awesome. We rented the bikes and rode all over the old quarters (highly recommended). I did not check the price of others but my wife told me the rates that they charge are cheaper than the E-bike rental shop at Xima Road. They sold Chinese tea as well which turned out to be pretty competitive as far as pricing is concerned. You'd pay alot more if you purchased tea at the pedestrian shopping strip (Ancient City) nearby. Location was fantastic! Near to the entrance of Xima Road where you could either turn left and walk towards the Ancient city or right where you can walk to Xinqiao Road (many boutique shops there). There are a tonne of food stalls and restaurants there all within short walking distance and a 24hr minimart nearby. Note that this is a homestay where everything is more relaxed and informal so don't expect hotel type of house keeping. Amenities and mineral water are placed at the foyer and you can grab as much as you need. They use disposable towels which may take getting used to if you haven't used one but the up side is that hygiene is guaranteed, and I'm happy with that. Overall, it was a great experience staying there and we will certainly stay there again on our next trip.
