AAoluojiyetachuzhuangwangLes installations de l'hôtel sont encore relativement nouvelles, l'ensemble est large et complet, l'assainissement est bien nettoyé chaque jour, l'hôtel est bien isolé, les fenêtres de chaussures à deux niveaux sont vraiment très isolées, le service est très additionnel, le petit déjeuner est très spécial. Il y a des plats à 10 heures de la rue de la cuisine au-dessous de la nuit, il y a des plats à manger tôt, les gens ici ont encore un peu de temps pour se reposer. Le magasin de porte a également des rayures inconfortables pour les gens de la rue. Le soir du milieu de l'hôtel est demi-heure plus tôt que d'autres magasins de porte. C'est très convivial. Globalement, il est recommandé, quelle que soit l'environnement, la position de l'hôtel, l'attitude de service n'est pas à dire.

TTokkiiiWe stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit.
Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes.
Where do I even start?
The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect.
The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference.
Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures.
One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy.
We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care.
To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here.
This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere.
If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

IInvitéJ'avais initialement réservé une seule nuit, prévoyant de passer les deux suivantes dans un autre hôtel de Dalian, lui aussi très bien noté et situé à proximité. Mais après cette première nuit au Castle Hotel, j'en suis tombé sous le charme ! La chambre était particulièrement belle, et comme l'hôtel est situé sur une colline, la vue y était incroyablement dégagée et splendide.
L'expérience dans l'autre hôtel, lors de la deuxième nuit, s'est avérée bien moins agréable en comparaison. J'ai donc fait le nécessaire pour revenir au Castle Hotel pour ma dernière nuit.
Avant de séjourner ici, j'avais lu des commentaires indiquant que les installations du Castle Hotel étaient vieillissantes et qu'il n'était pas à la hauteur des autres établissements bien classés. Cependant, une fois sur place, j'ai constaté qu'elles étaient en fait très bien entretenues, il n'y a donc pas de quoi s'inquiéter. La décoration et le design des chambres sont visiblement pensés avec soin, dans un style château européen, loin de toute vulgarité ou ostentation.
Le hall de l'hôtel est magnifique, et la plateforme d'observation l'est tout autant. C'est un endroit parfait pour prendre de superbes photos, et d'ailleurs, des gens viennent même spécialement pour cela.
Enfin, et c'est très important, je tiens à saluer tout particulièrement notre hôtesse dédiée, une jeune femme charmante et attentionnée, que l'hôtel nous a assignée. Elle m'a contacté avant notre arrivée et a fait preuve d'un professionnalisme et d'une réactivité incroyables tout au long de notre séjour, répondant rapidement à toutes mes questions. Cela a rendu ces deux nuits à l'hôtel encore plus agréables. Si l'occasion se présente de revenir à Dalian, je reviendrai sans hésiter loger ici !

IInvitéMost of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

KK LacsLe plafond de l'océan est un appartement. Pas un hôtel. La position est parfaite pour le touriste. Et la vue de la fenêtre est belle. Mais je dirais que la propreté n'est pas bonne. Le toilette sent. Et il y a des crampes de biscuits sur le sol. Mais globalement, il va bien. En raison de la position que je lui donnerais 5/10.

AArtMWe were travelling as a famliy of four with two boys. We chose the hotel because of reviews and great location.
Locations is outstanding, a lot of places to eat nearby, german restaurant on B1 floor, several big shopping malls in walking distance (don't make our mistake, there are TWO big supermarkets in those buildings, one in Mykal, the better and bigger one in the building in front of it). In shopping malls there are restaurants and food courts which is convenient. For us it's been useful because my younger boy is quite selective in food preferences. Hotel personnel had been nice and helpful, not a single issue with them. In the hotel there is swimming pool and some bathing area with smaller pools at different temperature. A great place to attend after long-long day in Dalian. Food selection for breakfast is also quite nice.
What issues we had during our stay:
Aircon had been barely working. Definitely insufficient for four people in one room, it was too warm to sleep, we had to keep window open at night to try to make it to comfortable temperature. Mosqiutos were terrible, it was suprise that insects made it to 18th floor, but I believe they got in through aircon system. In-room refrigerator had been terrible and not cooling anything. It would probably be similar if there was no refrigerator at all.
Overall great place to stay.

아... 단점으로 복도에서 담배 냄새가 좀 납니다.
청소문제가 아니라 실내에서 흡연하는 게 밖으로 나오는 것 같네요.
금연객실 요청해서 배정받았는데 실내는 괜찮았습니다.

IInvitéThe hotel is in a very convenient location and is a great landing point. Zhongshan square is a very nice area with a lot of activities and easy subway and connecting bus stations.
The room itself, however, had very dirty walls (you can see if you zoom in) and had a terrible smell. The sheets on the bed were very clean. The bathroom was in dire need of being remodeled.
The staff were very friendly and nice and gave me great advice for things to do. I appreciated their help.
