Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores. There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road. Very convenient. The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck). The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats. Think sweet pastries and snacks. They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian. The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am. It is a buffet the fills up the entire room. There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot. There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods. The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style). Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas. I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet. Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm. That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell. Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season. I went during early April for 9 days. I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable. This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap. Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use. Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine. The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom. There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups. You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink. This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.

Bel hôtel ! Installé dans un endroit très pratique. À 5 minutes du marché nocturne de Duanfeng. Il y a FamilyMart à côté de l'hôtel et le café en face est également bon. Il faut 10 à 15 minutes à pied pour rejoindre la Kaohsiung Arena et le grand magasin Hanshin. L'hôtel est soigné et propre. Si vous êtes une famille de quatre personnes, vous pouvez disposer de deux lits queen. Petit déjeuner inclus. Un bon choix en effet. Le parc à côté est également un bon endroit pour la promenade et les loisirs. Vous pouvez vous rendre à la station de métro Arena à quelques pas. 

Le seul défaut, le vélo est difficile d'attendre. Vous devez prendre A au 26e étage, puis B dans la chambre ou dans la piscine publique, et vous devez accueillir quatre vélos le jour même, en raison d'autres facteurs, deux vélos sont fermés. Il n'est pas bon d'attendre, et le 1er étage est très nombreux. Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel est très délicieux. Malheureusement, les fruits de mer sont morts dès que les autres repas sont ingestés. Je ne sais pas si les repas peuvent être mangés. La vitesse de la préparation n'est pas très rapide. Je vois souvent des endroits où il n'y a pas encore de place pour le repas (je suis la deuxième fois 8-9 point), le temps de repas est court, le temps de demande est venu pour la première fois, veuillez noter le temps, c'est plus dommage que le repas ne puisse pas être lentment repasé. Les installations de la chambre sont excellentes, surtout dans la chambre, vous pouvez coucher le paysage du haut étage de l'extérieur, la télévision peut également tourner vers le lit, le lit est Ted, très bon sommeil, c'est le meilleur lit que j'ai jamais réservé.

We stayed at 2 bed room suite and really enjoyed the view from the big windows. My daughter loves exploring the rooms and looking out of the window. She still talks about going back to Kaohsiung Marriott as she loves the room. We also love how the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with good restaurants, an indoor children playground and a good book store. Breakfast was of good variety and we chose to have breakfast at the main restaurant everyday. Lounge is also nice, although the breakfast variety is less. My only disappointment would be the kids club as I don't think it is well equipped, in comparison to other 5 stars or 4 stars hotels. It is more like a room with some toys (building blocks and a broken kitchen) and the children fought over the toys. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and hope to return in the future.

Cet hôtel ne veut pas faire le maximum pour les clients. Lorsque nous avons appelé la réception, le téléphone a sonné pendant longtemps sans réponse. Nous avons essayé environ 5 fois, toujours pas de réponse. Nous avons dû nous rendre en personne dans le hall pour demander de l'aide. Nous voyagions en groupe de 3 et lorsque nous avons demandé des cintres supplémentaires, le personnel de ménage n'a apporté que la moitié de ce que nous avions demandé. Nous avons demandé une carte-clé supplémentaire, mais le bureau d'enregistrement a refusé dans un premier temps.

Everything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

Hôtel tres bien situé juste à la sortie de la gare de Kaohsiung avec accès facile au métro. La chambre super deluxe est spacieuse mais la salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation. Le petit-déjeuner est correct sans plus Il y a une buanderie avec machines à laver en libre service par contre il faut payer pour le sèche linge et uniquement en pièces de 10twd, vraiment pas pratique lorsque vous n'avez pas de monnaie. Enfin l'accueil à la réception est inexistant, vous faites vous même votre check out à la borne et on ne vous demande pas si vous avez passé un bon séjour ni ne vous salue lorsque vous partez. Ça va pour passer 1 nuit mais pas en long séjour.

Strongly recommend for couple travellers. It's a ROMANTIC hotel so not the best hotel for other types of travelling group. The hotel is very clean and accurate to the photo shown. The room has two floors with the downstairs as a garage and upstairs as the room. The second floor room has two doors with a small walkway space in between which is nice because the staff can drop off amenities or breakfast to your room without truly entering your room. The single use amenities can be found inside a box in this walkway as well. While the hotel location is not close to any of the major attractions in Kaohsiung, it is an ideal hotel to stay if you have a car as the room comes with a private garage downstairs to park your car. The check in counter is in the drive way gantry and the check in process is efficient. The only thing is that you will have to hand over your keys everytime you step out the hotel and they will pass it back to you when you come back. Breakfast provided daily with your choice of drinks and either a choice of Chinese porridge with sides or Western toast set. You can ask them to deliver up to your room at a certain time and the food will be sent to you hot.
