IInvitéNestled on the quieter side of the ancient town, it is close to many famous temples. The service provided by the staff was impeccable! There are 2 breakfast options, both of which are equally sumptuous. Guests staying for 3 nights receive complimentary transport to the train station or airport. A hidden gem indeed, I had a very pleasant stay!

IInvitéEnjoyable stay. It's one of the best hotel I've stayed at in China. The hotel has a nondescript entrance along the bustling West Street in Quanzhou. Located in the heart of tourist area, it's very nearby to major attractions. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated inside. The staff were really friendly and attentive. During check-in, one of them brewed a pot of nice hot Chinese tea for me while sharing about the attractions nearby and recommended some nice food, all using their in house hand drawn map. They gave me a free upgrade without asking, and the room is of a good size, and nicely setup. The TV screen projector is nice and huge and there's a good sized bathtub. Very nice touches of tea set, free tea leaves, fruits, free mini bar, and fancy toiletries. Overall a great experience.

IInvitéJe n'ai pas l'habitude d'écrire des critiques, mais cet hôtel est super et je veux écrire pour que plus de gens l'envisagent. L'hôtel est très bien situé, dans une petite ruelle à côté de Zhongshan Road, au calme dans une ville animée. L'arrêt de bus Xiaobai se trouve juste à l'entrée de la ruelle, et il est également à distance de marche du temple Kaiyuan sur West Street, ce qui est très pratique. FflubberGrand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

ZZeederworldWe had a lovely one night stay Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the adjoining building Location is perfect. In between West Street and Quanzhou Ancient City. About 20 to 30 mins walk to each direction. The ginger duck dinner (10 mins walk) and taro fritter right at the back street of this mishu (both recommended by the host) were one of the best food throughout our Fujian trip. We appreciated the host allowing us to freeze our food and helped us arrange a driver to send us to Xiamen the next day. It's door to door at RMB70 per pax (if sharing the cab with others). Cheaper than didi + train + didi and less time consuming. The room size is slightly on the smaller side but we don't mind as we were out all day. All the basic amenities needed are provided. Most important is its clean and comfortable. As I booked using non-Chinese no and can't read Chinese, I did not receive notifications from host right after my Trip.com booking . We depended on Baidu map to guess the location after the taxi dropped us at the main road. Be prepared to walk 2 mins into small/back lane and to enter an unlock gate to enter the compound of 2/3 residential building cluster. A bit confusing for us but we managed to locate the minshu after 5 mins. We wish we had more time for Quanzhou. Definitely worth at 2 nights. So much more to explore here.

TTay MLThere is a lot of eateries around the area, however it is not easy to find the accomodation as it is within a alley. Rooms are big and homely. There is also simple breakfast provided and service is very good. The host helped us carry the luggages up the staircase. Nice place, thank you for the wonderful stay.
