Nous avons vérifié notre séjour en Sri Lanka pour 4 nuits et nous avons dû demander un changement de chambre le lendemain, étant donné la fusion de la toilette et lentement inondation du sol de la salle de bain. Le problème était clairement préexistant, mais étant donné que la plupart des gens restent seulement une nuit, il n'y avait pas quelque chose qui était haut sur la liste des priorités des hôtels à adresser. Le service de cet hôtel n'a pas été une grande expérience, avec la gestion de la réception nécessitant une attention particulière. Le plus frustrant de cet hôtel est qu'ils devraient le faire rouler. Il est un endroit magnifique, une belle piscine et un bon environnement, mais c'est là qu'il s'arrête. Les chambres et le restaurant sont physiquement fatigués. La nourriture était assez moyenne, et elle était pauvre, malgré son abondance. Ils jouaient de la musique en direct à la nuit, ce qui était si « vivant » qu'il nous a envoyé à dormir deux nuits en fils. Il est inévitable que le tir promotionnel héros utilisé par l'hôtel pour commercialiser l'hôtel soit la photo de la vue de la piscine à Lions Rock.

L'hôte était très gentil et arrangeant. Bien que je n'aie passé qu'une seule nuit, le dîner était délicieux, la chambre était bien entretenue et équipée de la climatisation et d'un ventilateur de plafond, ce qui m'a permis de passer un séjour confortable. Le lendemain matin, après l'ascension du Pidurangala, ils ont adapté l'heure du petit-déjeuner et m'ont permis de prendre une douche après l'ascension du rocher de Sigiriya. Ils ont été très prévenants. Un grand merci ! 😊

As the name suggests, it is a retreat in the jungle. There are no windows, and the trees are the natural windows. You can meet squirrels and monkeys, and you are surrounded by the sounds of many birds and insects in the morning and at night. The hotel offers a variety of activities, which can be booked. The beginning of April, when we stayed, was firefly season, and when it rained in the evening, more than a dozen fireflies surrounded our mosquito net.

Great place to stay if you want to explore the lions rock and the area around. Pidurangala rock is only 15min away by tuk tuk, the lions rock can be done by walk (~20min walk to entrance). But the best experience was the kindness of the hosts. The helped us in every way (explaining routes, advices on activities, organizing tuk tuk, etc.). The food was amazing and we had a lot of interesting conversations with the friendly stuff. Special thanks to Daushna, Larush & Nimal for making our stay remarkable.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour à Sinhagiri villa, l’accueil était très chaleureux, la chambre était très grande et très propre. La Clim et le wifi ont très bien marché. La cuisine et le petit déjeuner étaient très bons et la piscine est un plus appréciable . L’environnement était très agréable en plein nature, avec un grand jardin de beaux arbres fruitiers, une petite montagne de laquelle on pouvait admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil. La villa est à quelques minutes de marche du rocher de sigiria, de pidurangala et bien plus. Il ya un joli lac juste en sortant de la villa en allant vers la gauche et un beau petit temple à côté. C’est un établissement très apaisant reposant et réconfortant je recommande et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir

First of all, service from Bagdea, Jaathu, Kishaulya and the young restaurant girl (forgot her name, my bad) made my stay warm and quite pleasant. They were all quite helpful. When I was late arriving at the hotel and the sky was dark, Kishaulya texted to enquire. That felt reassuring. I didn't really enjoy the breakfast buffet but at dinner, I had a good a la carte meal. Sigiriya is a little town rather self contained. Apart from the pool, there isn't much entertainment at the hotel although they had a cultural performance and a pop singer on the 2 nights I was there. You have to appreciate the ecological side of the Sigiriya area. So if you are looking for energetic activities, then it's not for you. Unless you count climbing the Lion Rock! My room was nice and spacious although I would have preferred a double bed instead of 2 singles. On my 2nd day, I went out of the hotel to have lunched and hung the sign for my room to be made up. Upon my return, I was pleasantly surprised someone noticed and did it in the short time I was away. So I found that I was well taken care of there

Stayed for one night: - good WiFi -helped with Tuk tuks to Sigiriya rock - nice Pool - good food (ordered koththu from the menu see picture) - good towels -ac working -friendly staff -breakfast was toast with omelette and fruits

Bien que notre séjour ait été court, il a été plutôt agréable grâce à la gentillesse du personnel, notamment de M. Ruchira, qui nous a très bien accueillis dès le début. Le logement était propre et confortable et l'emplacement était excellent. Nous avons été impressionnés par le soin et l'attention portée aux détails, ce qui a rendu l'expérience très positive. Nous reviendrons certainement!
